  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Busy day in Week 8 win

Fairbairn went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made both of his point-after tries during the Texans' 26-15 win over the 49ers on Sunday.

All four of Fairbairn's field goals came from 37 yards or closer, and he was responsible for 10 of the Texans' 16 first-half points with three field goals and a PAT. The ninth-year pro has not missed a kick in three straight games, and his four made field goals Sunday were his most in a game since Week 2 of the 2024 season. Fairbairn is 17-for-19 on field-goal attempts and 12-for-12 on extra-point tries through the first seven games of the regular season.

  • Tyler Loop K | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Loop: Perfect on six kicks vs. Chicago

Loop made all three of his field-goal attempts and extra-point tries during the Ravens' 30-16 win over the Bears on Sunday.

Loop helped the Ravens build their lead in the second and third quarters after connecting on field goals from 42, 28 and 32 yards. Week 8 marked the first time this season that the rookie sixth-rounder connected on three field goals in one game, and he is 12-for-13 on field-goal attempts and 18-for-19 on point-after tries through the first seven regular-season games of his NFL career.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Makes six kicks vs. NYJ

McPherson made his lone field-goal attempt and all five of his point-after tries during the Bengals' 39-38 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

McPherson opened the game's scoring with a 26-yard chip shot in the first quarter before tacking on five PATs. The fifth-year pro is 11-for-13 on field-goal attempts and 19-for-19 on extra-point tries through eight regular-season games; he has been perfect in seven of those contests, with his lone blemish coming against the Packers in Week 6, when he missed two field goals.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Bills' Matt Prater: Makes six kicks in Week 8 win

Prater made both of his field-goal attempts and went 4-for-5 on point-after tries during the Bills' 40-9 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Prater scored the Bills' first six points of the game with field goals from 45 and 43 yards in the first half. His first extra-point try in the second quarter sailed wide left, but he was perfect on his next four PATs. Prater has done a serviceable job as the Bills' placekicker as Tyler Bass remains on injured reserve due to a left hip/groin injury. Prater has gone 12-for-13 on field-goal attempts and 21-for-22 on extra-point tries through seven regular-season games.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: Cleared to return Week 8

Santos (thigh) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Jake Moody wasn't elevated from the practice squad Saturday, suggesting that Santos would be cleared to return from a two-game absence due to a thigh injury, and the latter will indeed handle kicking duties for the Bears in Week 8. Prior to his injury, Santos went 6-for-7 on field-goal attempts while connecting on all 11 of his extra-point tries across four regular-season games.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Returning to action

Gano (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.

As expected, Gano will return to action in Week 8, marking his first appearance since suffering a groin injury during pregame warmups ahead of Week 3 against the Chiefs. The veteran kicker was a perfect 9-for-9 during the first two weeks of the season, including 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts. However, only one of those makes was from beyond 40 yards.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Activated from IR

The Giants activated Gano (groin) from injured reserve Saturday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Gano is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, but his activation from IR -- coupled with the Giants not elevating Younghoe Koo from the practice squad -- indicates that he will play Week 8. Gano missed the Giants' last five games after sustaining a groin injury during pregame warmups in Week 3 against the Chiefs. He went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts and 4-for-4 on extra-point tries in the two regular-season games prior to his injury.

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Commanders' Matt Gay: Questionable for Week 8

Gay didn't practice Saturday due to a back injury and is listed as questionable for Monday's game at Kansas City.

Gay was a late addition to the Commanders' Week 8 injury report, as he didn't have any practice limitations prior to Saturday. Washington currently doesn't roster another kicker, even on its practice squad, so the team would need to sign one before Monday's game as insurance in the event Gay isn't able to suit up.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: On track for Week 8

Santos (thigh), who's listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Ravens, appears ready to make his return, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports.

The Bears didn't elevate Jake Moody from their practice squad, suggesting Santos is ready to return after missing the team's last two games with a thigh injury. The Tulane product has made six of seven field-goal tries and all 11 extra-point attempts through four contests this year. He's now expected to assume Chicago's top placekicker duties in Week 8.

  • Packers' Brandon McManus: Listed as questionable again

McManus (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game at Pittsburgh.

After missing the past two games, McManus returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant. He said afterward that he was pleased with both his leg strength and accuracy, but there's still some doubt about his Sunday availability after he failed to upgrade to full practice participation Friday.
