Chargers' Michael Badgley: Not expected to kick Sunday
Badgley (groin) is not expected to kick Sunday according to head coach Anthony Lynn, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
While Badgley was listed as a full participant at practice all week and drew a questionable designation following Friday's injury report, the second-year kicker evidently isn't ready to resume his kicking duties according to head coach Anthony Lynn. As a result, Chase McLaughlin is expected to make his fourth consecutive start.

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Questionable for Sunday
Badgley (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Badgley was listed as a full practice participant all week and appeared primed to make his season debut Sunday, but there's apparently still some doubt about his availability. Chase McLaughlin would again handle kicking duties for the Chargers should Badgley be unable to play.

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Appears ready for return
Badgley (groin) was a full participant for Wednesday's practice.
Badgley warmed up prior to last Sunday's clash against the Titans and, as evidenced by this news, looks to be nearing a return to the field. The team has yet to say Badgley will suit up for Week 8 against the Bears, but the Miami product appears ready to make his 2019 debut, bumping Chase McLaughlin from atop the depth chart.

Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Scores four points
Elliott made his only field-goal attempt as well as his lone extra-point try in Sunday night's 37-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Elliott converted from 38 yards on his field goal, which along with his extra-point make kept him perfect on the season. With only 41 points, however, Elliott places 19th among kickers in the category.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Rams' Greg Zuerlein: Posts season high
Zuerlein made three of four field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 37-10 win over the Falcons.
Zuerlein hit the left upright to miss his first attempt, but followed that disappointment by nailing kicks from 55, 25 and 20 yards. With four extra points to boot, Zuerlein's 13 total points marked a season high. Through seven games, his 64 points now rank third league-wide.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Blanked against Chiefs
McManus missed a 45-yard field goal on his only attempt in Week 7's 30-6 loss to the Chiefs.
McManus watched the Broncos fail on their two-point conversion after they scored on their first drive, then he missed wide right once called upon in the second quarter. His goose egg brought his season average down a full point, but he'll hope this Sunday's game in Indianapolis' dome helps him finally move past 44 points.

Chase McLaughlin K | TB
Chargers' Chase McLaughlin: Posts perfect outing
Laughlin converted on both of his field-goal attempts as well as two extra points in the 23-20 loss Sunday to the Titans.
Michael Badgley (groin) was seen warming up prior to Sunday's game, but he was unable to handle kickoff duties, thus prompting another start from McLaughlin. The undrafted rookie will see his role diminish in the coming weeks when Badgley eventually returns, but until then, McLaughlin remains a weekly consideration at kicker considering the Chargers' relative inability to convert in the red zone this season.

Justin Tucker K | BAL
Ravens' Justin Tucker: Remains perfect in 2019
Tucker connected on all three of his field goals and also went 3-for-3 on extra points Sunday against the Seahawks.
All of Tucker's field goals came from under 30 yards but he was still automatic nonetheless. Tucker is now a perfect 16-for-16 on field goals and 20-for-20 on extra points. He has posted double-digit fantasy points in three straight games as well. Tucker will be on a bye in Week 8 but is one of the rare kickers worth holding onto during an off week. He'll return to action Week 9 against the Patriots.

Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Makes all six kicks in Week 7
Butker knocked home each of his three field-goal attempts and three extra-point attempts in Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Butker's effort Sunday marked the third time in seven games that he's attempted at least three field goals. He's tallied the most extra-point attempts in the league through the first seven weeks, though it's come at the expense of fewer field goals compared to some of his fellow kickers. The loss of Patrick Mahomes for some time could slow the Chiefs offensively a bit, which may lessen Butker's impact inthe short term.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Not ready for kickoffs
Coach Anthony Lynn said Monday that Badgley (groin) hasn't been brought back yet because he's unable to resume kickoff duties, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
Badgley warmed up prior to Sunday's game against the Titans, suggesting he's close. However, as evidenced by this news, he'll have to get the green light for kickoffs before returning to action. Badgley will certainly have a shot to play Sunday against the Bears, but if he can't go again, it will be Chase McLaughlin handling kicking duties.
