Ryan Fitzgerald K | CAR
Panthers' Ryan Fitzgerald: Misses lone field-goal attempt
Fitzgerald missed his only field-goal try but converted on both point-after attempts during Saturday's 16-14 loss to the Buccaneers.
Fitzgerald came up short on a 54-yard field-goal try in the third quarter of Saturday's loss. It was a miss that proved costly, as the Panthers lost by just two points. The rookie kicker from Florida State appeared in all 17 of Carolina's regular-season games in 2025, making 24 of 29 field-goal attempts and 27 of 30 point-after tries. However, he struggled from long range, converting on just two of five field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards. Under contract through the 2027 season, Fitzgerald is expected to at least compete for Carolina's top placekicker role heading into the 2026 season.

Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Staying on IR, done for 2025
Sanders (hip) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Sanders will end up spending the entire 2025 season on injured reserve due to a hip injury he sustained in the preseason. Riley Patterson will serve as the Dolphins' starting kicker in Sunday's regular-season finale, as he's done for the entire 2025 campaign.

Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Uncertain for Week 18
Sanders (hip) has been deemed questionable for Sunday's matchup versus New England.
Sanders hasn't appeared in a regular-season game during the current campaign after injuring his hip in preseason. He had his practice window opened in mid-December and logged a trio of limited practices this week, but he remains on IR and would need to be activated in order to be able to suit up Sunday. Riley Patterson has operated as the Dolphins' kicker in all 16 contests to this point and has been very accurate, making 26 of 28 field-goal attempts and 33 of 34 extra-point tries.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Practices in full Thursday
Fairbairn (illness) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Fairbarin was limited in Wednesday's practice while under the weather, but it appears the veteran kicker is past his illness and is on track to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Colts. Fairbairn has gone 38-for-42 on field-goal attempts and 26-for-26 on point-after tries through 14 regular-season games.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Dealing with illness
Fairbairn was limited in practice Wednesday due to an illness.
It's not clear when Fairbairn began feeling under the weather, but the good news is that it's relatively early in the week. Given that he was able to log a limited practice Wednesday, it's likely that the veteran kicker will be able to play Sunday against Indianapolis. Fairbairn has gone 16-for-17 on FG attempts since returning Week 12 from a two-game absence due to a quad injury.

Zane Gonzalez K | ATL
Falcons' Zane Gonzalez: Converts two FGAs in victory
Gonzalez went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his PATs in Monday night's 27-24 win over the Rams.
Gonzalez was able to make multiple field goals for the second straight week and third time in four contests, converting attempts from 56 and 51 yards in the second half. The kicker's lone miss on the day came in the third quarter when his 37-yard try was blocked by Jared Verse, who then picked it up and returned it for a touchdown. Gonzalez has now gone 15-for-18 on field-goal tries, including 8-for-10 from 50-plus yards, while making 16 of 17 extra-point attempts over eight contests with Atlanta this season.

Harrison Mevis K | LAR
Rams' Harrison Mevis: Makes lone field goal in MNF loss
Mevis made his lone field-goal attempt and connected on all three of his extra-point tries during the Rams' 27-24 loss to the Falcons on Monday.
The Rams offense was held scoreless in the first half, but Mevis put his team on the board with a 35-yard field goal early in the third quarter. Since joining the Rams in Week 10, he has gone 9-for-10 on field-goal attempts and 35-for-35 on extra-point tries. Per Stu Jackson of the team's official site, head coach Sean McVay relayed after Monday's loss that the Rams' healthy starters will play against the Cardinals on Sunday, so Mevis' fantasy floor will remain somewhat elevated in Week 18.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Michael Badgley: Cut by Buffalo
The Bills cut Badgley from the practice squad Monday.
Badgley has kicked in each of the last two games for Buffalo, and he's missed an extra point in each contest. Sunday's blocked PAT against the Eagles proved pivotal, as it helped keep Buffalo out of the win column, with coach Sean McDermott opting instead to attempt a game-winning two-point conversion at the end of the fourth quarter rather than putting Badgley back out there for another extra-point attempt.

Eddy Pineiro K | SF
49ers' Eddy Pineiro: Makes all six PATs in win
Pineiro didn't attempt a field goal in Sunday night's 42-38 win over the Bears but converted all six of his extra-point tries.
The Niners scored touchdowns on six of their 10 possessions against Chicago, and Pineiro has now kicked six PATs in back-to-back games after doing it last Monday night against the Colts. On the season, Pineiro is 27-for-28 on field goals and 34-for-38 on extra points.
