Tavecchio was let go by the Raiders on Saturday, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Tavecchio was unable to displace veteran Sebastian Janikowski as the starting leg. Given Janikowski's age, however, Tavecchio could be a candidate for the practice squad.

Santos will be the Chiefs' kicker following Saturday's release of Sam Ficken.

Santos returned to play in the preseason finale against the Titans this week, converting a 48-yard field goal and going 3-of-4 on PATs. Thus, he seems fully healthy after missing most of training camp with a groin injury. The Tulane product enters the 2017 campaign as a legitimate fantasy option at kicker on a Chiefs offense that attempted the seventh-most field goals in the league last season.

Martin was released by the Jets on Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.

Martin looked to be the better kicker in training camp compared to incumbent Chandler Catanzaro, but the Jets apparently had concerns with Martin's leg strength and hang time on kickoffs.

Fairbairn will enter the season as the Texans' kicker after incumbent Nick Novak was released, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Fairbairn appeared to be the more consistent option this summer and also notched more touchbacks on kickoffs this preseason, a facet in which Novak struggled. He could be an interesting fantasy option out of the gate, as the Texans attempted the second-most field goals in the league last season.

Barth will enter the season as the Bears' kicker after Roberto Aguayo was released Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Barth found himself in a fight for his job after the Bears claimed Bucs draft bust Roberto Aguayo off waivers Aug. 13. However, Barth had a near flawless preseason while Aguayo continued to struggle, so this likely wasn't a hard decision for Chicago management.

Koehn was released by the Vikings on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Koehn certainly gave Kai Forbath a run for his money this summer, but the veteran ultimately won the job battle. Koehn showed potential in the preseason, though, namely nailing a 58-yarder in the third exhibition. It wouldn't be a shock if he resurfaced at some point this season for any team that has any issues at place kicker.

Elliott was beaten out by Randy Bullock for the Bengals' kicking job, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Elliott missed two kicks in the fourth quarter Thursday against the Colts, albeit the second one was from 60 yards out. But he also missed a kick in the third preseason game and Bullock was better in training camp.

Meyer was released by the Falcons on Friday, The Associated Press reports.

Meyer always faced steep odds of surviving final cuts while competing against the likes of veteran Matt Bryant. He fared well in limited action during the preseason, though, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him resurface elsewhere soon.

Sturgis made a 33-yard field goal but missed a 58-yard try Thursday versus the Ravens.

The veteran kicker finishes the preseason 4-for-4 on field goals under 40 yards, but just 1-for-4 on anything longer. He'll need to "kick" it into high gear with the regular season soon to start. If he does so, he ought to see more opportunities this year, given the upgrades the Eagles have made on both sides of the ball this offseason.

Hocker was released by the Buccaneers on Friday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.

Brought in to Tampa to compete with Nick Folk for the kicking gig, it would likely have required an impressive stint for Hocker to overtake the veteran. He's back on the free-agent market after being cut loose Friday.
