Trubisky's deal with the Steelers is for two years, with a base value of approximately $14 million, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.

The report suggests that Trubisky's pact could max out at $27 million via incentives. Though Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins are also in the Steelers' post-Ben Roethlisberger quarterback mix, Kaboly indicates that Trubisky, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, is the clear favorite to be the team's Week 1 starter after spending last season with the Bills as Josh Allen's backup.

The Browns are set to meet with Watson in Houston on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network reports.

Teams are lining up to talk with Watson, who met with the Panthers and Saints on Monday. Those two clubs have reportedly submitted proposals, and now Cleveland's leadership team will attempt to sway Watson. The Browns have Baker Mayfield under contract for 2022 -- the final year of his rookie deal -- but they are open to the idea of an upgrade at the position.

Rodgers signed a four-year extension with the Packers on Tuesday, though the deal includes two "dummy" years, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

It took one week to finalize a contract after Rodgers confirmed last Tuesday he'd return to the Packers for 2022. His new deal includes $150.6 million guaranteed, and while it may be more akin to a two-year extension for practical purposes, this at least suggests Rodgers plans to stay in Green Bay through 2023 or 2024. The team can now focus on star wideout Davante Adams, who reportedly informed the Packers that he won't play out the 2022 season under a franchise tag (the two sides have until July 15 to negotiate a multi-year contract).

Trask, who was expected to compete for the starting quarterback job in 2022 before Tom Brady's decision to unretire, still could have a chance at the No. 2 role in the coming season, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

The soon-to-be second-year pro was, by all accounts, going to get a legitimate shot at competing for the starting job in training camp, likely against trusted veteran Blaine Gabbert. Naturally, Brady's return completely nixes those plans, but it could still benefit Trask. Not only will the Florida product avoid potentially being thrust into the top job before he's ready, but Brady's presence for perhaps only one more season could create a sense of urgency to ensure Trask gets to work directly behind the future Hall of Famer as opposed to utilizing that spot on the currently unsigned Gabbert for the third consecutive campaign.

Bridgewater (concussion) agreed Monday with the Dolphins on a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Though Bridgewater won't get the chance to compete for a starting role for the Dolphins with the team having committed to Tua Tagovailoa as its top quarterback, the chance to return to his hometown of Miami was too enticing to pass up. Before he missed the final four games of the 2021 season with a concussion, Bridgewater made 14 starts for the Broncos and completed 66.9 percent of his attempts for 3,052 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions while adding 106 yards and two scores on the ground. The 29-year-old's time as a full-time NFL starter may be over, but he'll profile as one of the more accomplished backup options in the league.

McCoy agreed Monday to re-sign with the Cardinals on a two-year, $7.5 million deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McCoy will be guaranteed $6 million to stick around as Kyler Murray's backup after he played the 2021 campaign on a one-year, $1.2 million contract. The 35-year-old earned the salary bump by helping to keep the Cardinals afloat while Murray was sidelined from Weeks 9 through 11 with an ankle injury. During that stretch, McCoy led Arizona to wins over San Francisco and Seattle while completing 75.6 percent of his passes for 684 yards, three touchdowns and one interception to go with 40 yards on 14 carries. McCoy's familiarity with head coach Kliff Kingsbury's system and his credible performance in the absence of Murray made it an easy decision for Arizona to keep him around.

Rudolph will begin OTAs as the Steelers' backup quarterback after Mitchell Trubisky agreed to a two-year deal with the team Monday, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.

Rudolph looked like he had a chance to serve as Pittsburgh's starter under center after Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement earlier in the offseason, but Trubisky now will be the clear favorite to take the starting job after spending a year behind Josh Allen in Buffalo. After filling in during 10 games in 2019, Rudolph has made seven appearances across the last two seasons and has completed 60 of 101 passes for 601 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing 12 times for 47 yards.

The Lions re-signed Boyle to a one-year, $2 million contract Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Boyle's contract includes $1.75 million in guaranteed money, with another $500,000 in incentives. The 27-year-old signal-caller started three games for the Lions last season, throwing more interceptions than touchdowns in each contest and only exceeding 200 passing yards once. However, Detroit appears satisfied enough with Boyle's ability to helm the offense under emergency circumstances, and he's now positioned to reprise a familiar role as the No. 2 option behind Jared Goff unless further options are added to the quarterback room.

Hoyer is signing a a two-year, $4 million contract to stay with the Patriots, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

The 36-year-old backup QB has played for seven NFL teams, but the Patriots are the only one he's spent more than two seasons with. Despite that, Hoyer has made just one start in a New England uniform, and each of his five appearances last season came off the bench behind Mac Jones, who will be back in 2022 as the team's starting QB. That leaves Hoyer as the favorite for the No. 2 job, though the Patriots could add some competition before camp.
