  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Tosses two TDs in Sunday's win

Carr completed 13 of 23 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-26 win over the Chargers. He also gained 14 rushing yards on two carries.

It's the second straight game in which Carr has thrown for under 200 yards, but the sixth time in eight starts he's tossed multiple TDs. With the Raiders beginning to lean heavily on Josh Jacobs and the running game, Carr might have more low-volume afternoons ahead, but Week 10's clash with a Broncos defense that's been stingier on the ground than through the air could give him a chance to post better numbers.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Struggles to get going

Tannehill completed 10 of 21 pass attempts for 158 yards and two touchdowns in Week 9 against the Bears.

The Titans jumped out to a 17-0 lead by the end of the first half, limiting Tannehill to just eight pass attempts across the third and fourth quarters combined. He also lacked his usual efficiency, completing under 50 percent of his pass attempts for the first time this season. Even so, Tannehill played turnover-free football for the fourth time on the campaign, managing the Titans' to a win. He will draw a tough matchup against the Colts in Week 10.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Makes most of 20 attempts

Cousins completed 13 of 20 pass attempts for 220 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 9 against the Lions.

Cousins was limited by game script yet again and has combined to throw only 34 passes in the team's past two games. Even so, he managed his third three-touchdown performance of the season while also racking up 11 yards per attempt. The entire Vikings' offense has benefitted from the return of Dalvin Cook, who has kept the Vikings offense moving and played a significant role on drives that were capped by Cousins' passing scores. Cousins will likely be stuck in another slow-paced matchup in Week 10 against Chicago.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Efficient in win over Cardinals

Tagovailoa completed 20 of 28 pass attempts for 248 yards and two touchdowns while adding 35 yards on seven carries during Sunday's 34-31 win over the Cardinals.

Tagovailoa completed an impressive 71 percent of his throws and averaged 8.9 yards per attempt. He completed touchdown passes to Preston Williams and Mack Hollins while also finishing just shy of the team lead in rushing. Tagovailoa was perhaps a bit overshadowed by Kyler Murray's gaudy numbers on the other side, but his own production jumped quite a bit after an underwhelming effort last week against the Rams. He's also led the team to a pair of victories since taking over under center and will look to continue his ascent next Sunday against a Chargers defense that hasn't lived up to expectations this year.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Leads Giants to second win of year

Jones completed 23 of 34 pass attempts for 212 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions during Sunday's 23-20 win against Washington. He added four rushing yards on six attempts.

So continues the trend of Jones' dominance against his divisional foe Washington, as he pushes his record to 4-0 against the Football Team since entering the NFL in 2019. Jones was able to avoid any giveaways despite fumbling twice in this game, though turnovers have cost him dearly in his 21 outings as a starter. He entered Sunday's game with an abysmal 7:9 TD:INT and five fumbles as the Giants stood at 1-7 on the season. Jones has shown athleticism with four performances of 45-plus rushing yards this season, plus he has displayed explosive passing ability at times. Preventing turnovers is the area of his game that requires most rapid improvement if Jones is to stick as the starter in New York. He still carries a career record of 1-16 against all other NFL teams besides Washington heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Eagles' No. 4 pass defense.

  • Justin Herbert QB | LAC

Chargers' Justin Herbert: Comeback attempt falls short

Herbert completed 28 of 42 passes for 326 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Raiders. He also carried the ball five times for 24 yards.

It was another fantastic fantasy performance for the young quarterback, but it's certainly a disappointing outcome overall considering the Chargers had two attempts to score the game-winning touchdown inside the 10 yard line only to come away empty in yet another tragically disappointing loss. Keenan Allen continues to build a rapport with Herbert, but it's especially encouraging to see the No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft continue to target Mike Williams, with whom he connected on five of seven attempts for 81 yards. It's hard to see Herbert slowing down, considering Week 10 will see the 22-year-old square off against the Dolphins.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Accounts for four TDs in loss

Murray completed 21 of 26 pass attempts for 283 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Dolphins. He also carried 11 times for 106 yards and another touchdown in the 34-31 loss.

The defeat was no fault of Murray's, as he averaged a healthy 10.9 yards per attempt and completed 81 percent of his passes. He threw touchdown passes to three different receivers and added another one on the ground as he racked up a new career high in rushing yards. Perhaps his only misstep was a fumble that was returned for a touchdown on the first drive of the game, which ultimately made the difference in a narrow loss. Coming off perhaps his most complete performance of the season, Murray will look to keep it up next Sunday against the Bills.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Scores third rushing TD

Jackson completed 19 of 23 passes for 170 yards and carried the ball 13 times for 58 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Colts.

It was an efficient, if quiet, performance through the air for Jackson, but he led the Ravens in rushing on the afternoon as Baltimore's defense controlled the game. It's the first time all season the QB hasn't tossed a TD pass, but he's now failed to top 208 passing yards in seven straight starts, putting a ceiling on his fantasy value despite his contributions on the ground. Jackson could struggle to post better numbers in Week 10 facing a Patriots defense that's been stingy against the pass.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Gets it done with arm and legs

Watson completed 19 of 32 pass attempts for 281 yards and two touchdowns in Week 9 against the Jaguars. He also chipped in 10 carries for 50 yards.

Watson picked apart the Jaguars' defense for multiple long touchdowns. His performance began with a 57-yard touchdown toss to Brandin Cooks -- most of which came after the catch. His other score came midway through the third quarter, when he connected with Will Fuller deep down the right sideline for a 77-yard completion. In addition to the strong performance with his arm, Watson logged a season-best 50 yards on the ground, his highest mark in a regular-season contest since Week 17 of the 2018 campaign. Watson and the Texans will look to continue to showcase offensive explosiveness in Week 10 against the Browns.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Lights up Seahawks for four TDs

Allen completed 31 of 38 pass attempts for 415 yards and three touchdowns while gaining 14 yards and recording another score on seven carries during Sunday's 44-34 win over the Seahawks.

The sometimes inaccurate Allen posted a sterling completion rate of 82 percent and averaged a healthy 10.9 yards per attempt. He managed three touchdown passes after going two games without one and added his fifth rushing score of the season to round out an excellent line. Allen seems to be back on track after struggling for a couple of games and will look to add to his numbers in what could be a high-scoring game against the Cardinals next Sunday.
