    Mahomes (hand) practiced fully Wednesday.

With the swelling in Mahomes' right hand having settled down, the star quarterback took his normal allotment of practice reps Wednesday and is thus set to suit up Sunday against the Broncos.

  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Puts in full practice Wednesday

Prescott (hands) practiced in full Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Prescott hasn't missed an offensive snap since Week 1 but nonetheless emerged from last Thursday's loss in Chicago with a pair of injuries in tow. Fortunately, his sprained left hand and injured right index finger didn't impact his practice reps Wednesday, though the digit in question was taped up during the session, per Todd Archer of ESPN.com. Prescott will seek to get the Cowboys back in the win column Sunday against a Rams defense that has given up 18 touchdowns versus nine interceptions in 13 contests this season.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Limited in practice Wednesday

Winston (thumb/knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

According to Jenna Laine of ESPN.com, Winston was still wearing a cast on his throwing hand to protect the thumb he fractured in the Week 14 win over the Colts. The 25-year-old was unable to grip the football Wednesday, but coach Bruce Arians said that "the plan" is for Winston to resume throwing later this week, per Greg Auman of The Athletic. While Winston is trending in the direction of playing Sunday against the Lions, Ryan Griffin will remain on standby in the event that WInston suffers any setbacks or fails to progress as anticipated.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Questionable, but expected to play

Jackson (quadriceps), who is listed as questionable for the Thursday's game against the Jets, indicated earlier this week that he'll be able to play, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Players' comments about their own injuries should normally be taken with a grain of salt, but in Jackson's case, his optimism seems warranted. Not only was Jackson able to turn in a full practice Wednesday, but Mike Garafolo of NFL Network suggests that the quarterback is only carrying the questionable tag into the Week 15 contest because the NFL no longer authorizes a "probable" listing. Official confirmation of Jackson's availability will arrive upon the release of the Ravens' inactives in advance of Thursday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

    Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Officially questionable

Jackson (quadriceps) is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's contest against the Jets, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

The quick turnaround for the Week 15 game hasn't given Jackson much time to move past the quad injury he picked up in Sunday's win over the Bills, but the star signal-caller appears to be trending toward playing Thursday, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. As evidence, Jackson was a full participant in the Ravens' practice Wednesday, a step forward after he began the week with back-to-back limited showings. Given the nature of the injury as well as the weakness of the opponent, the Ravens could look to scale back Jackson's involvement as a runner more than usual if he does end up getting the green light to play.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Seen on field Wednesday

Winston (thumb) was present at practice Wednesday but wasn't seen participating in any throwing drills, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Such is the management program with the fractured right thumb Winston sustained in the Buccaneers' come-from-behind victory against the Colts over the weekend. Winston, who was spotted with a wrap on his right hand, is expected to be listed as a limited participant Wednesday on the Buccaneers' first practice report of Week 15. Ryan Griffin will likely handle all the first-team reps during the session.

  • Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Hand feels better

Mahomes indicated Wednesday that he's feeling better and has noticed reduced swelling in his right hand, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

Mahomes added that he plans to handle a normal workload at practice Wednesday, but confirmation on that front won't arrive until later in the day, when the Chiefs release their first Week 15 injury report. The quarterback's status for Sunday's game against the Broncos doesn't appear to be in any real danger.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Jones (ankle) was listed as a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.

The Giants are hosting a jog-through session for their first practice of Week 15, but it's nonetheless encouraging to see Jones taking reps after being unable to practice in any capacity last week. That said, veteran Eli Manning was working with the first-team offense Wednesday, providing an early sign that Jones is likely miss another contest while recovering from a high-ankle sprain. Even if Jones isn't cleared to start Sunday against the Dolphins, coach Pat Shurmur left the door open for the rookie to suit up as the backup quarterback, though Shumur added that such a scenario would still be unlikely, per Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Working with backups at practice

Jones (ankle) is participating in the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice and was spotted taking snaps from the Giants' backup center, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

It's an early hint that Jones is tentatively expected to miss another game, though his presence at practice is a clear step forward and opens up the possibility of a return for Sunday's matchup with the Dolphins. Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York notes that Jones is out of his walking boot and moving around well at practice, with no obvious sign of ill effects from the high-ankle sprain he suffered during a Week 13 loss to the Packers. The rookie is likely to be listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Limited again Tuesday

Jackson (quadriceps) was limited at Tuesday's walkthrough.

Jackson has been tabbed with the same listing on back-to-back estimated injury reports to start Week 15 prep. The Ravens are taking a "wait-and-see" approach with his quad injury, which he sustained on a low hit during this past Sunday's win in Buffalo. While he told Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic that he'll "be out there Thursday night" against the Jets, Jackson's status nonetheless will receive some clarity upon the release of Wednesday's practice report.
