  • Browns' Baker Mayfield: Commits four turnovers in first start

Mayfield completed 21 of 41 pass attempts for 295 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Raiders. He also carried four times for 10 yards and lost a pair of fumbles during the 45-42 overtime loss.

Mayfield's life as a starter in the NFL got off to an eventful beginning, with his fourth attempt of the game resulting in an interception that was returned for a touchdown. He led the offense effectively while completing touchdown passes to Darren Fells and Jarvis Landry, but three second-half turnovers allowed the home team to hang in the game and force overtime. Mayfield also struggled to connect with his receivers at times, completing just over half his pass attempts on the day. He should remain the starter next Sunday against the Ravens, but another sloppy showing against one of the league's better defensive units could have him on a short leash.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Throws four TD passes Sunday

Carr completed 35 of 58 pass attempts for 437 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions during Sunday's 45-42 overtime win over the Browns.

Carr thrived in this high-scoring affair, posting his highest totals in terms of yardage, completions and attempts since Week 8 of the 2016 season. He connected with eight different receivers on the day, throwing touchdown passes to top targets Amari Cooper, Jared Cook and Jordy Nelson. Carr has an underwhelming 6:7 TD:INT through four weeks, but he's averaging a whopping 343.3 passing yards per game this season and more importantly helped his team to its first win. He'll look to keep it up next Sunday against a Chargers team that just allowed 27 points to a 49ers unit led by C.J. Beathard.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Mediocre showing in win

Wilson completed 19 of 26 passes for 172 yards and zero touchdowns in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Cardinals. He also ran four times for 21 yards.

Wilson finally had some run support in the backfield as Mike Davis, who was playing because Chris Carson (hip) was inactive, racked up 101 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Therefore, the veteran signal-caller didn't have to put the team on his back. Wilson had some breathing room, too, as he was sacked just twice for the second straight game after being dropped six times in each of the first two contests. He'll have a tough matchup against the Rams in Week 5.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Throws two touchdowns in loss to Cowboys

Stafford completed 24 of 30 pass attempts for 307 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Cowboys.

Stafford completed 80 percent of his passes as he averaged a healthy 10.2 yards per attempt. His overall numbers were driven by a pair of long touchdown passes to Golden Tate, including one in the final minutes which put the visitors ahead. Unfortunately for Stafford, his team fell to 1-3 on a field goal in the final seconds, but he's been excellent over the last three weeks and is averaging 305 yards per game to go along with a 7:1 TD:INT ratio during that span. He'll look to keep it up in what could be a shootout with the Packers next Sunday.

  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Throws two TD passes versus Lions

Prescott completed 17 of 27 pass attempts for 255 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 26-24 win over the Lions.

Prescott averaged a healthy 9.4 yards per attempt as he set a new season high in yardage. He connected with Ezekiel Elliott for a 38-yard touchdown in the second quarter and found Geoff Swaim from one yard out for another score in the third. Perhaps Prescott's most impressive moment came with just seconds left in the game on a deep ball to Elliott to set up the winning field goal. After three consecutive games under 175 passing yards to start the season, Prescott looked more like the 2016 version of himself in this one and could be rounding into form now. He'll look to build on this effort next Sunday night against Houston.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Jets' Sam Darnold: Quiet in loss to Jacksonville

Darnold completed 17 of 34 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown while rushing twice for eight yards in Sunday's 31-12 loss to the Jaguars.

Darnold took care of the ball, but he failed to make much of a dent against Jacksonville's elite defense. His lone touchdown was a two-yard strike to tight end Jordan Leggett early in the fourth quarter. The rookie quarterback's still a work in progress, but he should have an easier time at home against Denver next week.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Accounts for three scores

Watson completed 29 of 42 passes for 375 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Sunday's 37-34 overtime win over the Colts. He added 41 yards and a touchdown on six carries.

Watson is heating up after a putrid Week 1, now recording three consecutive games with at least 300 yards passing and two touchdown throws. He finally got a rushing touchdown late in the third quarter, looping around the left side for a five-yard touchdown. What should be most encouraging is that he looked as though he took care of the football better Sunday, his lone turnover coming off of a pass that was slightly off target but otherwise in DeAndre Hopkins' hands. Watson has put up these numbers against some pretty solid units, but he'll get a tougher test on Sunday with Dallas' top-10 pass defense.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Terrific in 37-36 win

Dalton completed 29 of 41 passes for 337 yards, three touchdowns and an interception while adding 13 yards on two carries in Sunday's 37-36 win over Atlanta.

Dalton started the game with his full array of aerial weapons available with A.J. Green (pelvis) suiting up. Cincinnati's eighth-year starter hooked up with tight end Tyler Eifert for a 15-yard touchdown on the team's first possession and added a 39-yard score to speedster John Ross in the second quarter. Unfortunately for the Bengals, Eifert later left the game with what looked like a broken leg. Dalton still managed to lead his team to victory, though, taking the lead for good on a 13-yard touchdown pass to Green with seven seconds left. He'll host the Dolphins in Week 5.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Looks inept in blowout loss

Tannehill completed 11 of 20 passes for 100 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Dolphins' 38-7 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. He also rushed once for no yards and lost a fumble.

Tannehill and the Dolphins offense appeared to be completely lost throughout the contest, and the seventh-year quarterback was eventually pulled for Brock Osweiler in the second half once the game was completely out of reach. Tannehill averaged just five yards per attempt and couldn't summon any of the sharp throws he'd managed to make the first three games of the season. The absence of DeVante Parker (quadriceps) naturally didn't help his cause, but Tannehill had put together solid stat lines without him over the first two games. Tannehill will look to put Sunday's forgettable performance behind him against the Bengals in a Week 5 matchup.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Plays second half of blowout loss

Winston (suspension) started the second half of the Buccaneers' 48-10 loss to the Bears on Sunday and completed 16 of 20 passes for 145 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed once for seven yards.

Winston was inserted to start the third quarter with the Buccaneers already facing a 38-3 deficit and performed reasonably well considering the circumstances. The fourth-year quarterback wasn't expected to make his debut until a Week 6 matchup against the Falcons following the Week 5 bye, but the combination of Ryan Fitzpatrick's ineffectiveness and the lopsided score prompted head coach Dirk Koetter to parlay the undesirable circumstances into a way to ease Winston back into action. Given that it increasingly appears that Fitzpatrick's typically short shelf life as a starter is rapidly approaching its expiration date, it's likely that Winston gets the starting call against Atlanta in two weeks.
