Case Keenum QB | CHI
Broncos' Case Keenum: Good to go
Keenum (knee) practiced fully Thursday, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.
Keenum's availability for this weekend's game against the Ravens is in no peril and he'll look to bounce back from a subpar fantasy outing in Week 2, in which he completed 19 of 35 pass attempts for 222 yards and an interception in a 20-19 win over Oakland. He'll be taking aim Sunday at a Baltimore defense that embarrassed the Bills in a 47-3 triumph in Week 1, then turned around surrendered four passing TDs to the Bengals in a 34-23 loss this past Sunday.

Marcus Mariota QB | WAS
Titans' Marcus Mariota: Making progress
Offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur noted that Mariota looked as good in practice Thursday as he has since suffering his elbow injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Meanwhile, coach Mike Vrabel confirmed that Mariota is doing better as of Thursday and was able to do more in practice. He was officially deemed a limited participant. The QB is therefore trending in the right direction, but Friday's final injury report of week should be telling with regard to Mariota's chances of starting Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Broncos' Case Keenum: Back to work
Keenum (knee) returned to practice Thursday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
Knee soreness caused the quarterback to rest Wednesday, but his return to work Thursday supports the notion that Keenum will be fine for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Saints' Teddy Bridgewater: Confirmed as top backup
Saints head coach Sean Payton said Thursday that Bridgewater is locked in as the team's top backup quarterback and would be first in line to start if Drew Brees were unavailable at any point this season, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Given that second-year signal-caller Taysom Hill is unproven at the NFL level outside of preseason action, there was never much doubt that Bridgewater would capture the top backup role after the Saints acquired him from the Jets on Aug. 29. It's more noteworthy, however, that Payton indicated Bridgewater entered Week 1 as the team's top backup, with the coach praising the 25-year-old for how quickly he picked up the playbook. Though Bridgewater has apparently impressed the Saints' staff in practices and in the film room, it's difficult to envision him logging meaningful snaps this season with Brees being one of the NFL's more durable starters over the last several years.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Won't practice Thursday
Rodgers (knee) will be limited to rehab work during Thursday's practice and is expected to be listed as a non-participant, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports.
The Packers opted for a walk-through session Wednesday, with Rodgers appearing on the team's estimated practice report as a non-participant. Though the team will don pads Thursday, Rodgers will be relegated to the sideline as he continues to deal with an MCL sprain and bone bruise in his left knee. Though the quarterback performed capably in last week's tie with the Vikings, Rodgers acknowledged Wednesday that it's possible his injury worsens as he continues to play through pain, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. There haven't been any reports indicating that Rodgers came out of the Week 2 contest with any setbacks, however, so the expectation remains that he'll be on the field Sunday in Washington, even if his practice time is limited beforehand.

Marcus Mariota QB | WAS
Titans' Marcus Mariota: Still bothered by numbness
Mariota (elbow) acknowledged Wednesday that he still feels some numbness and tingling in his fingers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. "It is getting better," Mariota said. "It is frustrating, and it is hard because it is one of those things where you can't really do a whole lot."
The Titans listed Mariota as a limited practice participant Wednesday after keeping him active as the backup to Blaine Gabbert in Sunday's 20-17 win over Houston. It seems a decision on the starter could come down to the wire again this week, as Mariota's comments suggest his progress has been noticeable but also frustratingly slow. Head coach Mike Vrabel said the 24-year-old is about where he was last week, and practice reps were split between Mariota and Gabbert during Wednesday's session. A Week 3 date in Jacksonville will be a hostile situation for whichever signal-caller ends up getting the start.

Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Cardinals' Sam Bradford: Remaining starting QB
Head coach Steve Wilks confirmed that Bradford will remain the Cardinals' starting quarterback, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports. "Sam's the guy," Wilks said Wednesday.
The Cardinals are safely in the NFL's basement in terms of offensive output through two games, accounting for a dismal 350 yards. While Bradford is completing a palatable 61 percent of his passes, he has just two completions of 20-plus yards en route to 243 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. The scheme likely requires some tweaks, but lesser quarterbacks have had better success with top-tier weapons like Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) and David Johnson. Until Bradford turns it around, the pressure to thrust rookie signal-caller Josh Rosen into action will mount.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Admits knee injury may worsen
Rodgers confirmed Wednesday that his injured left knee could get worse as the season goes on, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. "Yeah, obviously that's a concern," Rodgers said Wednesday. "Hopefully it goes the other way though."
Rodgers donned a bulky knee brace during Sunday's 29-29 tie with the Vikings, playing all 77 offensive snaps. That workload was preceded by no practice reps last week until Saturday, with Rodgers' performance during that session giving the Packers confidence to keep him active on game day. On Wednesday's estimated injury report, Rodgers was listed as a non-participant, according to Michael Cohen of The Athletic. Rodgers may follow a similar regimen to Week 2, focusing on rehab and attending team meetings rather than practicing with the hope it's enough to leave him ready for Sunday's contest at Washington.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Broncos' Case Keenum: Bothered by sore knee
Keenum will be held out of Wednesday's practice to rest a sore knee, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports.
With the soreness considered mild, Keenum is expected to return to practice Thursday and then play in Sunday's road game against the Ravens. His matchup seems to be more of a concern than the minor knee injury, though Baltimore did surrender four touchdown passes to Cincinnati's Andy Dalton last week.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Remains day-to-day
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that he's still viewing Rodgers (knee) as day-to-day ahead of the team's Week 3 matchup with the Redskins, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
After coming out of the season-opening win over the Bears with a deep bone bruise in his left knee along with a sprained MCL, Rodgers didn't log any practice time last week until Saturday. That was ultimately enough for Rodgers to garner an active status Sunday, with the signal-caller finishing that contest with 30 completions on 42 attempts for 281 yards and a touchdown. Rodgers performed effectively for the most part and didn't appear to suffer any setbacks with his knee in the contest, though he didn't showcase much mobility in the pocket or as a scrambler, netting just eight yards on three carries. He'll likely have his practice reps managed carefully for the next month or so while he recovers from the injury, but the expectation is that Rodgers will be under center again in Week 3.
