  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Impressive in debut

Cousins completed 20 of 36 passes for 244 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Vikings' 24-16 win over the 49ers on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 26 yards.

Cousins put to rest any doubts about his degree of chemistry with new wideouts Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, hitting the duo for a combined nine catches, 145 yards and a touchdown. The veteran signal-caller also put the services of returning running back Dalvin Cook to good use, hitting the FSU product on six occasions for 55 yards. Having put together a clean Vikings debut, Cousins will look to keep the momentum going against the Packers in an intriguing Week 2 divisional matchup.

  • 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Three interceptions in season-opening loss

Garoppolo completed 15 of 33 passes for 261 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions in the 49ers' 24-16 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also rushed twice for six yards.

Garoppolo actually compiled more passing yardage than may have been expected against a stingy Vikings secondary, but Minnesota ball hawks still victimized him to the tune of three interceptions. The fifth-year pro also lost Marquise Goodwin to a quadriceps injury for a portion of the contest, although he displayed a strong connection with both George Kittle and rookie Dante Pettis. Given the adverse circumstances of a road matchup against an elite defense, Garoppolo's afternoon wasn't a total washout by fantasy standards, and he certainly provided enough reason for optimism. He'll look to bounce back in a Week 2 matchup against the Lions.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

    Bills' Josh Allen: Makes debut

Allen completed six of 15 passes for 74 yards and rushed for 26 yards on four carries during Sunday's 47-3 loss to the Ravens.

Allen was not supposed to play Sunday as the Bills sought to protect their first-round pick by waiting a bit to play him. However, following some putrid offensive play in a game that got out of hand, they decided to roll the dice. It was a mixed bag for the rookie, as he completed just 40 percent of his passes but also flashed some of the natural talent that got him drafted -- particularly on a scramble that resulted in a 24-yard dart to tight end Logan Thomas. The Allen era may have arrived, but he'll need more help from his teammates than he got Sunday to be able to live up to his billing.

  • Bills' Nathan Peterman: Struggles Sunday before being replaced

Peterman gave way to Josh Allen in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Ravens.

With the Ravens up 40-0 and Peterman not getting anything going (5-for-18 for 24 yards), the Bills turned to their 2018 first-rounder. It remains to be seen if the change sticks, but given how bad Peterman looked Sunday, the Bills probably having nothing to lose by giving Allen a chance to start in Week 2 against the Chargers.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Enters game in third quarter

Allen took over for Nathan Peterman during Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Peterman was having a very rough day in a blowout game, so the Bills turned to their 2018 first-rounder in the third quarter. It remains to be seen if he'll hold on to the job next week against the Chargers, but either way, the strong-armed Allen is probably worth a speculative add in deeper QB-heavy leagues.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Will have all receivers Sunday

Wilson will have five healthy receivers Sunday against the Broncos since Doug Baldwin (knee) has been a full participant in practice this week, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Healthy may be a loose term when it comes to Baldwin, who deemed himself as "85 percent." Still, Wilson will need every possible target he can get in Week 1, as the vulnerabilities of the Seahawks' youthful defense could cause him to throw the ball early and often. Wilson draws a tough matchup against the Broncos, who ranked fourth in the league last season with 200.6 passing yards allowed per game and added pass rusher Bradley Chubb in the first round (No. 5 overall) of April's draft.

  • Luke Falk QB | NYJ

Dolphins' Luke Falk: Not dressing Sunday

Falk is a healthy inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Titans, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

The rookie won't suit up against the Titans, who picked him in the sixth round of April's draft. Instead, Brock Osweiler will serve as Ryan Tannehill's backup.

  • Mason Rudolph QB | PIT

Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Coach's decision inactive

Rudolph is inactive for Sunday's game against Cleveland due to coach's decision, Teresa Varley of the Steeler's official site reports.

Rudolph lost the battle for the backup slot to Joshua Dobbs, and the team has no need to suit up three quarterbacks in Week 1. Rudolph will likely suit up if the team faces injuries and doesn't need to scratch healthy players.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: May play in pro debut

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Jackson is "expected to be active" Sunday against the Bills.

Listed as the Ravens' No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart, Jackson is all but guaranteed to suit up for his professional debut, but long-time QB Joe Flacco is in the way for regular touches. No matter, Rapoport relayed that the team has "several packages with Lamar Jackson at quarterback, not receiver, at this point...to keep a defense on its toes." Rapoport added that "we will see him [Jackson] in some form or fashion," which is an interesting development. During exhibition season, Jackson only averaged 6.0 yards per pass attempt with three touchdowns versus one interception, but his scrambling ability was on full display, as evidenced by 23 rushes for 136 yards and three TDs.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Cardinals' Sam Bradford: Feeling good entering season

Bradford enters the 2018 season in good health, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. "I know that right now, it does feel as good as it has felt in a long time," Bradford said of his knee Wednesday.

Bradford was limited to two appearances with the Vikings last season due to complications with his left knee, which eventually underwent a cleanup procedure on Nov. 7. Despite being activated from IR in the playoffs, he backed up Case Keenum during Minnesota's two-game run. Upon joining the Cardinals, Bradford's activity level was monitored throughout the offseason with his oft-injured knee in mind. After a preseason in which he completed eight of 11 passes for 73 yards, Bradford is poised to act as a game manager in a David Johnson-dominated offensive scheme.
