  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Rushing score masks low production

Hurts completed 15 of 22 pass attempts for 101 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while rushing nine times for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 win over Kansas City.

Hurts managed to outduel Patrick Mahomes for the second time this calendar year in a Week 2 rematch of Super Bowl LIX. The 26-year-old Hurts has yet to throw a touchdown pass (or interception) through two starts in 2025, but his team has come out victorious on both occasions. Fantasy managers who drafted the dual-threat QB for his legs have been forced to rely almost exclusively on that part of his game for production early in the schedule. Hurts' rushing totals through two games (23-77-3) resemble that of an RB1 in fantasy, highlighting what an advantage it is to have a mobile QB. The Eagles may call on Hurts to air it out more against the high-powered Rams when the NFC contenders face off next Sunday.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: May have turf toe

Burrow is believed to have suffered a turf toe injury during Sunday's 31-27 win against the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

When Burrow took his second sack of the game in the second quarter, he remained on the turf while grabbing at his left foot and needed assistance from trainers to leave the field. He eventually was ruled out, ceding QB duties to backup Jake Browning, who ended up completing 21 of 32 passes for 241 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions while scoring a rushing TD from one yard out. Afterward, coach Zac Taylor told Ben Baby of ESPN.com that he didn't have the necessary information to provide an update on Burrow's health, but he eventually was seen with a walking boot on his left foot and using one crutch in the locker room, per Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic. If a diagnosis of turf toe is confirmed, Burrow likely would be in line for a handful of absences, starting with next Sunday's contest at Minnesota.

  • Jake Browning QB | CIN

Bengals' Jake Browning: Mixed results in comeback win

Browning replaced an injured Joe Burrow (toe) in Sunday's comeback win over the Jaguars. He completed 21 passes on 32 attempts for 241 yards and two touchdowns and ran for the game-winning touchdown. He also threw three interceptions.

Browning's interceptions were pretty rough, especially on the latter two throws. The Bengals will need him to tighten it up going forward as the schedule appears to be tougher. Burrow has torn toe ligaments and could be out several weeks, so the burden will likely fall to Browning in the near term.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Picked twice by Seattle

Rodgers completed 18 of 33 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Seahawks.

Rodgers didn't get much help from his pass catchers, but he still had a letdown performance in Week 2. His lone touchdown came on a lofted jump ball to DK Metcalf late in the first half from two yards away, and he also recorded three completions of at least 20 yards -- though Rodgers still managed only 6.2 yards per attempt. While that was a significant departure from Week 1, Rodgers was let down by his pass catchers on a few occasions, most notably on a pass in the end zone that was deflected by Calvin Austin on a pass intended for Pat Freiermuth that was ultimately intercepted. With a subpar offensive line and below-average playmakers around him, it's fair to expect more mediocre fantasy performances from Rodgers moving forward.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | MIA

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Big numbers in close loss

Tagovailoa completed 26 of 32 passes for 315 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Dolphins' 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins' offense as a whole were in dire straits over the first quarter-plus as the Patriots raced out to a 12-0 lead. Matters took a turn for the better in the second quarter when Tagovailoa hit Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane for touchdown passes of 18 and 29 yards, respectively. However, although Tagovailoa was able to compile some yardage in the second half, he wasn't able to lead Miami to anything other than a pair of field goals, as the Dolphins' other second-half points came from a Malik Washington 74-yard punt return touchdown. The Dolphins already have their backs against the wall at 0-2, making Thursday night's Week 3 road matchup against the Bills a critical early-season game for Tagovailoa and his teammates.

  • Max Brosmer QB | MIN

Vikings' Max Brosmer: Available as emergency quarterback

Brosmer (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Falcons but is available as the emergency third-string quarerback, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.

As the emergency third quarterback, Brosmer will be permitted to see the field only if both J.J. McCarthy and Carson Wentz are taken out due to injury, illness or ejection. Brosmer played in all three of the Vikings' preseason games, completing 60.3 percent of his passes for 364 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while adding four carries for seven yards.

  • Joe Flacco QB | CIN

Browns' Joe Flacco: Replaced by Gabriel late in loss

Flacco completed 25 of 45 passes for 199 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding one rush for eight yards in the Browns' 41-17 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Flacco's underwhelming line tells the tale of a sluggish afternoon for the Browns' offense, one during which he took two sacks in addition to his two turnovers. Flacco spread the ball around well but was outmanned by an aggressive Ravens defense and an efficient, mistake-free performance by Lamar Jackson. Flacco was replaced by rookie Dillon Gabriel for the final drive -- which did result in a touchdown -- but Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Flacco would remain the starter for a Week 3 home matchup against the Packers.

  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Big numbers against Big Blue

Prescott completed 38 of 52 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 40-37 overtime win over the Giants. He added 17 rushing yards on three carries.

It was Prescott's highest yardage total since Week 3 of last season, when he fired up 379 yards in a loss to the Ravens. The veteran QB rebounded in a big way from a quiet Week 1 effort, but the Cowboys' defensive issues may require him to continue putting the ball in the air a lot more often than expected. Prescott could be poised for another big performance in Week 3 against a Bears defense that just got torched for five passing TDs by Jared Goff and the Lions.

  • Caleb Williams QB | CHI

Bears' Caleb Williams: Pair of TD passes in loss

Williams completed 19 of 30 passes for 207 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while adding five rushes for 27 yards in the Bears' 52-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Williams' final line was serviceable, but the final score underscores how dominant the Lions were overall. The 2024 first overall pick looked especially impressive in the first half while connecting with Rome Odunze for touchdown passes of 28 and six yards, but he helped lead the Bears to only seven second-half points. Williams connected with seven different targets in his second game in head coach Ben Johnson's offense, and he clearly remains a work in progress in the quarterback-friendly system heading into a Week 3 home matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Pair of picks in Week 2 loss

Lawrence completed 24 of 42 passes for 271 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while adding two rushes for four yards in the Jaguars' 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Lawrence had the Jaguars in position for a win until the Bengals managed to rally behind Jake Browning on a 15-play, 92-yard touchdown drive. Lawrence put together an impressive performance overall that included touchdown passes to Dyami Brown (nine yards), Bhayshul Tuten (eight yards) and Travis Etienne (11 yards), but he also short-circuited two Jacksonville drives in the first half with interceptions at the Bengals' three-yard line and his own 34-yard line. The two plays would help lead to a combined 10 points for Cincinnati, certainly key developments in such a close game. Lawrence also continued to struggle in his connection with No. 1 receiver Brian Thomas (four catches on 12 targets), and the duo will encounter a tough defensive matchup in a Week 3 home date against the Texans next Sunday.
