Deshaun Watson QB | CLE
Texans' Deshaun Watson: Throws interception Saturday
Watson completed 11 of 21 passes for 116 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 13-0 preseason loss to the Saints. He also gained 10 yards on two rushes.
Although he's now slated to open the regular season as the backup to starter Tom Savage, Watson is undoubtedly an asset to keep an eye on, due to both his talent and Savage's thin NFL track record. The rookie has gained plenty of valuable reps this preseason and often looked impressive with them, so he's certainly proven worthy of consideration in all fantasy formats, particularly dynasty. There's a high probability that Watson sees the field at some point in 2017, and he'll probably receive a fair amount of playing time in Thursday's exhibition finale versus the Cowboys as well.

Tom Savage QB | DET
Texans' Tom Savage: Modest production in Saturday start
Savage completed 10 of 16 passes for 79 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Saturday's 13-0 preseason loss to the Saints.
The Texans were bedeviled by an aggressive Saints defense throughout the night irrespective of who was behind center, so Savage certainly wasn't alone in his struggles to move the ball. Already having been designated the starter to open the regular season by head coach Bill O'Brien, the 27-year-old has enjoyed a sharp preseason overall. Given his status as the No. 1 quarterback, he's likely to sit out next Thursday's preseason finale versus the Cowboys.

Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Throws for 200 yards in Saturday's loss
Winston completed 17 of 27 passes for 200 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 13-9 preseason loss to the Browns.
Considering he was operating without top target Mike Evans, Winston turned in a solid performance while playing through the first possession of the second half. The third-year signal-caller looks ready for the regular season after putting up a whopping 69 pass attempts through three exhibitions. While Winston didn't throw a touchdown pass this preseason, all reports are that he's taken another step forward this summer, with head coach Dirk Koetter even noting that his young quarterback had completed an additional 10 percent of his passes over last year's camp. After an active preseason, Winston is fully expected to sit for next Thursday's exhibition finale against the Redskins.

Stephen Morris QB | SEA
Colts' Stephen Morris: Another strong preseason game
Morris was 12-of-16 for 143 yards passing with no interceptions or touchdowns in Saturday's preseason win over Pittsburgh.
Morris was impressive for a third consecutive preseason game and got some playing time in the first half with the second-team unit. Scott Tolzien should begin the season as the starting quarterback if Andrew Luck remains sidelined with a shoulder injury, but the Colts could quickly turn to Morris if Tolzien struggles.

Paxton Lynch QB | PIT
Broncos' Paxton Lynch: Diagnosed with bruised shoulder
Lynch (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a bruised throwing shoulder, Lakisha Jackson of NFL.com reports.
Coach Vance Joseph said the injury was "nothing serious," so Lynch shouldn't miss extended time. That said, as the Broncos' second string quarterback, there shouldn't be too much fantasy implication.

Paxton Lynch QB | PIT
Broncos' Paxton Lynch: Questionable to return Saturday
Lynch is questionable to return to Saturday's preseason game against the Packers due to an injury to his throwing shoulder, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.
Lynch immediately went to the locker room after getting sacked, which seemingly isn't a good sign. He's been designated as questionable to return.
-
Christian Hackenberg QB | LV
Jets' Christian Hackenberg: Tosses two pick-sixes
Hackenberg completed 12 of 21 passes for 126 yards, a touchdown and two picks in Saturday's preseason loss to the Giants. He also scampered for a 13-yard run during the game.
With the Jets in a clear rebuild mode, it makes sense to give Hackenberg every opportunity to show what he can do before looking to what's available in 2018. The Jets did that on Saturday, starting Hackenberg and then bringing him back at the end of the game after Bryce Petty went down. Hackenberg connected on a touchdown that almost completed an impressive comeback, but the two pick-sixes in the first half are hard to ignore. Hackenberg has now turned the ball over three times with one score in two preseason starts, while completing just over half of his pass attempts.

Bryce Petty QB | MIA
Jets' Bryce Petty: Will be given MRI on Sunday
Petty (knee) will be given an MRI on Sunday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Petty currently sits third in the quarterback race for the offensively challenged Jets, and this certainly won't help in his quest to move up the ladder. He did complete 15 of 18 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns prior to exiting Saturday's preseason game against the Giants.

Bryce Petty QB | MIA
Jets' Bryce Petty: Suffers knee injury Saturday
Petty suffered a knee injury during Saturday's game against the Giants, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
It's unclear at this time whether Petty will return, as the seriousness of the injury hasn't been disclosed.

Nathan Peterman QB | ATL
Bills' Nathan Peterman: Struggles in Taylor's absence
Peterman completed 11 of 23 passes for 93 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Baltimore.
Tyrod Taylor was removed due to a concussion after the Bills' second drive, allowing Peterman to get the majority of first-team work. The rookie unsurprisingly was unable to build on his strong showings from the first two preseason games while facing much better competition, though he did at least avoid turnovers and only took one sack. It likely was enough to lock up the No. 2 spot on the depth chart, considering T.J. Yates was awful for a third straight week. Should Taylor fail to clear the NFL's concussion protocol within two weeks, Peterman would be in line to start the regular-season opener against the Jets.
