  • Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Returns to practice

Brissett, who underwent surgery on his right thumb in October, practiced Wednesday, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

The QB -- who drew two starts earlier this season -- has had his status officially changed to IR-designated to return and Brissett can now practice for up to 21 days without counting on the Patriots' 53-man roster. Assuming he is added to the team's roster down the road, Brissett will give the team added stretch run/postseason depth at QB behind Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Practices fully Wednesday

    Carr (finger) practiced fully Wednesday.

Per the San Jose Mercury News, Carr sported a glove on his right hand at practice Wednesday, but it's pretty clear that the dislocated right pinky that the QB suffered in Week 12 won't prevent him from playing Sunday against the Bills.

  • Trevor Siemian QB | ATL

Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Dealing with foot sprain

Siemian, who did not practice Wednesday, is viewed by coach Gary Kubiak as day-to-day with a left foot issue. "He's got a foot sprain," Kubiak noted Wednesday. "We've got him in a boot right now."

With Siemian sidelined Wednesday, Paxton Lynch took the Broncos' first-team QB reps at practice, but for now, Siemian is trying to downplay his injury. "Little sore," Siemian said of his foot Wednesday. "Nothing too crazy. Just a little sore."

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Listed as limited Wednesday

Rodgers (hamstring) was listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

On the heels of Monday night's win, the Packers opted to take the day off for purposes of rest, which should serve Rodgers well as he tends to a left hamstring injury. Just two days later, he focused on rehab with no drills in sight, after which head coach Mike McCarthy said the training staff "fully" expects to Rodgers to be available Sunday against the Texans. "They [also Clay Matthews] both were in treatment this morning and went through the workout," McCarthy said. A full practice Thursday or Friday would clear up Rodgers' availability for Week 13, but he nonetheless seems destined for a questionable designation.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Minor groin issue

Taylor practiced fully Wednesday, but was listed on the injury report with a groin injury.

There's no way Taylor will miss this week's crucial game in Oakland, though with a receiving corps that's incredibly depleted it would help if he has full use of his legs -- which have been a useful threat all season -- come Sunday.

  • Trevor Siemian QB | ATL

Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Dealing with foot injury

Siemian missed Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports.

Siemian, who had previously dealt with a left shoulder issue, is coming off a productive effort in Sunday night's overtime loss to the Chiefs, with his status now worth monitoring as Week 13's game against the Jaguars approaches. Next up for the team's QB snaps in the event that Siemian isn't able to play this coming Sunday is 2016 first-rounder Paxton Lynch.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Vikings' Sam Bradford: Will start Thursday

Bradford (ankle) wasn't on the Vikings' final injury report of the week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. As a result, he'll be under center for Thursday's game against the Cowboys.

Spotted with a slight limp in the locker room earlier this week, Bradford followed up back-to-back limited practices with a full showing Wednesday. While there's always the risk of aggravation once the pads come on, he's hoping to reconnect with Stefon Diggs (knee), who endured a similar practice regimen but is listed as questionable for Week 13.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Vikings' Sam Bradford: Limited in practice again Tuesday

Bradford (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday for a second consecutive day.

While Bradford was limited, there have been no signs the injury is serious. He's expected to start Thursday's game against Dallas.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Doesn't expect pinkie injury to linger

Carr doesn't expect to have any lingering side effects with his right pinkie finger, which he injured during Sunday's win against the Panthers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. "I'm doing good, I'm doing good," Carr told 95.7 The Game on Monday. "Obviously, it's a little sore, but that's expected. But it should be good. Just get the swelling down, and it will be all right."

Depending on the report, Carr suffered one (according to Gutierrez) or two dislocations (according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network) on a mistimed snap on the second play of the second half. After an X-ray revealed no fracture, though, the Raiders' training staff cleared Carr to return, allowing him to rack up 315 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while staving off the visiting Panthers. Carr seems like a good bet to have a cap placed on his practice reps this week, but once game day rolls around, pain tolerance will likely be his primary hindrance moving forward.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Injures left hamstring Monday

Rodgers played through a left hamstring injury in the second half of Monday's win at Philadelphia, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rodgers drew the intrigue of everyone from the broadcast crew to the viewing public when he entered a tent on the sideline in the midst of a tight game. Afterward, he offered up an explanation, telling Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com that "I just didn't want to be getting [my leg] taped up on the television." Leading his side to a much-needed fifth victory of the season, Rodgers completed 30 of 39 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns, while tacking on 26 yards on the ground. As Week 13 prep unfolds, his practice reps will be monitored with a watchful eye, but as he said post-game, "I'll be good to go" Sunday against the Texans.
