Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Shines again in Friday victory
Prescott completed 12 of 15 passes for 199 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Friday's 41-14 preseason victory over the Dolphins. He also totaled 28 yards and two touchdowns on three rushes.
The rookie was lights out for the second straight week, completing his first eight passes and providing a pair of highlight-reel moments. He connected with Brice Butler on a deep heave down the middle for 58 yards, which he followed up with a well-placed outside shoulder throw for a touchdown to Butler on the next play. Prescott also flashed his pocket awareness and wheels on a 20-yard sprint to the end zone midway through the third quarter. The Mississippi State product closed his night out with a determined one-yard dive into the end zone on fourth-and-goal later in the period. Prescott's play over the first two preseason games has likely exceeded the team's expectations and has been impactful enough for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to state that he is satisfied with his team's quarterback depth at the moment, despite Prescott's rookie status.

Colt McCoy QB | ARI
Redskins' Colt McCoy: Efficient in loss to Jets
McCoy completed 13 of 16 passes for 159 yards, two touchdowns and an interceptions in Friday's loss to the Jets.
McCoy started and performed very efficiently, but he was unable to engineer a victory against one of the more solid opponents in the game. The veteran is expected to start the season as the top backup to Kirk Cousins after an eventful 2015/16 season, but he carries little fantasy upside even if he does step into a starting role.
-
Bryce Petty QB | MIA
Jets' Bryce Petty: Throws for two scores in win over Browns
Petty threw for 242 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16 of 26 passing in Friday's loss to the Redskins.
Petty garnered the most passing attempts of any Jets quarterback Friday, and he responded with the most effective output, finishing with multiple touchdowns for the first time in his professional career. Petty is in an intense battle for a job among New York's backup and reserve quarterback options, and he will have the opportunity to build off of Friday's performance next Saturday versus the Giants.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Fires pair of TDs in extended action Friday
Tannehill completed 12 of 20 passes for 162 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Friday's 41-14 preseason loss to the Cowboys. He also gained 16 yards on two rushes.
The fifth-year pro received his first extended stint of game action in new head coach Adam Gase's offense and didn't disappoint, hooking up with Kenny Stills for a pair of second-quarter scores. Tannehill threaded the needle in traffic for his first touchdown and then hit Stills perfectly in stride on a nifty three-yard wheel route out of the slot on third down for the second successful connection. He also had an impressive 55-yard hook-up with Stills while rolling to his right, as well as a 30-yard completion to Isaiah Pead. The early returns on Tannehill's comfort level and proficiency in yet another new offensive system were certainly favorable, and provides him plenty of momentum heading into the Dolphins' dress rehearsal game versus the Falcons next Thursday.

Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater: Dealing with sore shoulder
Bridgewater was held out of Thursday's preseason win over the Seahawks with a sore shoulder, ESPN's Ben Goessling reports.
Bridgewater participated in pregame warmups and was expected to start Thursday evening's preseason matchup with Seattle, but was ultimately held out due to what was deemed a "coach's decision." However, it now appears the Vikings were simply playing it safe with Bridgewater, as the Louisville product is reportedly nursing a sore shoulder. The injury isn't believed to be serious, however, so Bridgewater should be ready to return to action when the Vikings take on the Chargers next Sunday.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Has poor outing Thursday
Hoyer went 4-for-14 passing for 85 yards and one interception Thursday against the Patriots.
Although he was efficient in the preseason opener against the Broncos, Hoyer's first pass was intercepted against the Patriots. The veteran primarily played with backup receivers, so he wasn't exactly in a position to succeed, and he actually had a potential touchdown pass dropped by Josh Bellamy, which would have made his stat line look much better. Despite the rough performance, he's firmly entrenched as Jay Cutler's backup, and projects to be one of the best second-stringers in the league.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Can't get away from sacks in second preseason game
Wilson was 5-of-11 passing for 77 yards and was sacked four times in Seattle's loss to the Vikings in their second preseason game Thursday.
Through two games, the Wilson-led first-team offense has not scored a point. A couple of the sacks were Wilson's fault for holding onto the ball too long, and another was the fault of running back Alex Collins who failed to make a key block. The offensive line, though, looked shaky at the tackle spots, which likely will continue to be an issue into the season. Even though the first-teamers have played about two quarters total in two games, their lack of production is still a bit concerning.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson QB | PHI
Eagles' McLeod Bethel-Thompson : Not much of a factor Thursday
Bethel-Thompson completed 2-of-4 passes for 22 yards to go along with two rushing attempts for a loss of three yards during Thursday's preseason win over the Steelers.
Bethel-Thompson remains buried on the Eagles' depth chart behind Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel, and Carson Wentz (ribs). With Wentz still sidelined due to injury, Bethel-Thompson serves as the third option at quarterback, but is still a longshot to make the roster.
-
Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Eagles' Sam Bradford: Plays well in extended action Thursday
Bradford threw for 115 yards while completing 14-of-19 passes in Thursday's preseason win over the Steelers.
After throwing just one pass during the Eagles preseason opener, Bradford saw much more time on Thursday, playing the entire first half. He didn't have any big plays but played relatively mistake-free football, leading the team to a 10-0 lead at half. Look for Bradford to see extensive time once again when the Eagles take on the Colts next week, as the offense continues to work out the kinks in preparation for the regular season.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Enters Thursday's game in third quarter
With Tom Brady sidelined for Thursday's preseason win over the Bears, Brissett took over at QB early in the third quarter of the contest, NESN.com reports.
Working mostly with the team's second-unit, Brissett completed 9-of-13 passes for 87 yards and ran once for five yards. With Brady set to sit out the Patriots' first four games of the regular season, Brissett remains on track to serve as Jimmy Garoppolo's backup out of the gate, given that the team has opted not to add a veteran backup to this point in time.
