  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Redskins' Kirk Cousins: Tosses three first-half touchdowns

Cousins completed 12 of 15 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns Sunday in Dallas before handing the reins to backup Colt McCoy.

Cousins and the Redskins didn't have much to play for after securing a playoff spot last week, but they managed to build momentum heading into the postseason by thumping the Cowboys in Dallas. He was carving up the opposing secondary before leaving in the second quarter with the game already out of reach. The fourth-year quarterback really came alive late in the season, with 11 of his 29 touchdown passes coming in the final three weeks.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Suits up in Week 17

Tannehill (thigh/knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Tannehill is available if you need him this week, but his production over Miami's last four games (the last three of which were losses) has been spotty, with the QB having recorded just two TDs versus one pick during that span.

  • Stephen Morris QB | SEA

Colts' Stephen Morris: Inactiive against Tennessee

Morris is inactive Sunday against Tennessee with Josh Freeman set to start at quarterback and Ryan Lindley active as the backup.

Morris doesn't get a chance to play this week with Freeman signed earlier this week.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

    Texans' Brian Hoyer: Active Sunday

Hoyer (concussion) is active Sunday against the Jaguars.

Hoyer cleared concussion protocol earlier this week and he'll get the start in a game that could send the Texans to the playoffs if they win. Hoyer threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns in the teams' previous meeting back in Week 6.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Poor weather game

Sunday's weather forecast for Taylor and the Bills calls for potential snow and winds around 20 mph.

Taylor played in wintry Buffalo weather last week and only threw 18 times, so more of the same could be in store Sunday if the game is close or the Bills get a lead. If you're counting on Taylor for production in Week 17, he may have to help you with his feet again, which he's capable of doing. The first-year starter has rushed at least seven times in the last four games, and ran it 14 times for 67 yards in last week's win.

  • Keith Wenning QB | NYG

Bengals' Keith Wenning: Continues to back up McCarron

With Andy Dalton still out, Wenning continues to serve as AJ McCarron's backup as Sunday's regular season finale against the Ravens approaches.

Wenning, who was promoted to the Bengals' active roster on Dec. 16, is thus a McCarron (left wrist) injury setback away from seeing his first NFL regular season action. Whether he remains the team's backup QB once the postseason begins hinges on the status of Dalton, who is slated to have his balky right thumb examined Monday.

  • Stephen Morris QB | SEA

Colts' Stephen Morris: Nominally in mix to start at QB

Ryan Lindley and Josh Freeman split first-team QB reps in Friday's practice, but head coach Chuck Pagano said Morris is also in the mix to start Sunday against Tennessee, Fox 59 TV in Indianapolis reports.

It's not clear if Morris will be active as the third quarterback. Whoever starts, it could be an ugly situation at quarterback for the Colts with both Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck ruled out due to injury.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Listed as probable this week

Tannehill (thigh/knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley reports.

Tannehill will be out there if you need him this week, but his production has been underwhelming over Miami's last four games -- of which the last three were losses -- a span in which Tannehill has recorded just two TDs, versus one pick.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Probable for Week 17

Taylor (right shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Taylor was listed as limited at practice this week, but there was never much doubt that he'd be a go Sunday in the 7-8 Bills' season finale against coach Rex Ryan's former team. They'll close out their season Sunday minus a pair of key offensive cogs, RB LeSean McCoy and TE Charles Clay.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Thumb exam on tap for Monday

Dalton has a visit with his doctor scheduled for Monday to assess the QB's injured right thumb.

Dalton is hoping that he'll be able to take the cast off his throwing thumb, but such an outcome has yet to be confirmed yet and a timetable for his potential return to action can't really be solidified until said cast comes off. Dalton is already ruled out for Sunday's regular season finale against the Ravens, a game that AJ McCarron is slated to start.
