Jimmy Garoppolo does little in relief duty Sunday
Patriots rookie quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo went 10 for 17 for 90 yards in New England's 17-9 loss to Buffalo Sunday.
Garoppolo was not asked to do much and also had four carries for 16 yards in the contest.
He is now 19 for 27 for 182 yards and one touchdown in his rookie season.
The Patriots will have a first-round bye and next play in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Browns rookie QB Shaw collapses late in Sunday loss
One day after coming off the practice squad, Browns rookie quarterback Connor Shaw played well for three quarters before fading in a Sunday loss to host Baltimore.
Shaw showed nice touch early and highlighted his afternoon with a 49-yard pass to wideout Taylor Gabriel in the third that set up a touchdown. But he became quite inaccurate thereafter, hitting just 4 of 12 for 25 yards and a killer interception in the final quarter. He finished 14 of 28 for 177 yards and no scores.

49ers list inactives for Week 17
The 49ers have listed RB Carlos Hyde, WR Stevie Johnson , S Eric Reid, CB Perrish Cox, LB Ahmad Brooks, CB Tramaine Brock and QB Josh Johnson as inactive against the Cardinals.
Hyde, Stevie Johnson and Reid were all ruled out prior to Sunday. Brock, Brooks and Cox were all considered questionable. Brock has a hamstring injury. Brooks is dealing with a thumb issue. Cox has a shoulder injury. Josh Johnson is a healthy scratch.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ready to roll in Week 17
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is active and set to start Sunday's game against the Lions. Rodgers was probable all week after suffering a calf injury against the Bucs in Week 16. He missed the final series of the game as a precaution with the game in hand.
The Packers are 7 1/2-point favorites against the Lions Sunday.

Browns QB Brian Hoyer a no-go Sunday
Quarterback Brian Hoyer might indeed have played his last game with the Browns. He is sidelined Sunday in Baltimore with a right shoulder problem that had him listed as doubtful.
Hoyer is slated for free agency after this season and the team has made little attempt to sign him. He lost his starting job late in the year after leading Cleveland to a 7-4 record.
