Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Report: Jets coaches might have hindered Geno Smith's development
While the Jets continue to evaluate whether or not Geno Smith is a franchise quarterback, there is a fear the coaches might have hindered Smith's development by dictating his reads, NFL.com National Insider Ian Rapoport said during an interview Sunday morning with NFL Network.
"Usually a quarterback is able to drop back, go through his reads then deliver the ball. I am told that Geno Smith was informed of his reads, told, 'You need to throw the ball here on certain plays,'" Rapoport said. "The most egregious example came on an interception on a pass (in Week 8) intended for Percy Harvin that Stephon Gilmore, the Bills corner, picked off. Smith was told; 'This is where you need to throw the ball.' And obviously, for a quarterback who is now taking a breather last game and this game, may have hurt his development a little bit."
Michael Vick is making his second straight start Sunday against the Steelers since Smith was benched in Week 8 after throwing three interceptions. Smith was inactive last week due to a shoulder injury.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Russell Wilson looking to snap out of funk
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is stuck in a rut recently, but he just may be able to snap out of it against the Giants in Week 10.
The Giants defense has struggled slowed down passing games recently, allowing 65 combined Fantasy points to the last quarterbacks they have faced. Of course, Wilson has struggled in his own right in that span, picking up just 24 Fantasy points in consecutive games against pretty mediocre defenses, as he has struggled a bit since the trade of Percy Harvin.
One trend will have to end this week; either Wilson's struggles will end, or the Giants' issues with quarterbacks will. Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard believe Wilson will come out on top in the matchup, with both ranking him among the top-10 for quarterbacks in Week 10. Consider him a solid starting option, even with his struggles.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers coach Mike McCarthy: Aaron Rodgers is 'ready to go'
Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Friday that quarterback Aaron Rodgers "feels good" and is "ready to go" for Sunday's game against the Bears. Rodgers suffered a hamstring injury Week 8 at New Orleans, but after resting during a bye week, he doesn't appear to be in any danger of missing game action.
Rodgers has 2,092 passing yards with 19 touchdowns and three interceptions through eight games.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Browns QB Brian Hoyer doesn't do much Thursday night
Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer wasn't asked to do much Thursday night against the Bengals.
Cleveland opted to pound the ball during the game, racking up 52 total carries. While Hoyer put up average numbers, the team decided to run its three-headed backfield monster. Hoyer completed 15 of 23 passes for 198 yards on the night. He did not throw any touchdowns, but did not turn the ball over either. While the numbers weren't spectacular, Hoyer showed an ability to pick up decent chunks of yardage at a time. He averaged a solid 8.6 yards per completion on the night.
Hoyer will look for more Week 11 against the Texans.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bengals QB Andy Dalton held to 86 yards, throws three INTs
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton endured an awful performance Thursday, completing just 10 of his 33 pass attempts for 86 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions in his team's 24-3 loss to the Browns in Week 10.
Dalton was simply terrible on the field Thursday and had at least one more easy interception dropped by the defense while failing to move the ball with any consistency despite a solid effort by the running game. He ended up getting benched late in the fourth quarter with his team down three scores, though he's in no danger of the Bengals removing him from the starter role permanently.
Dalton had delivered solid numbers coming into Week 10, completing nearly 65 percent of his passes while averaging 7.6 yards per attempt, but he's been held without a passing touchdown in three of his last four games. He'll hope to bounce back considerably in New Orleans in Week 11.
