Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill struggled in Week 2 against the Bills, a 29-10 loss Sunday.

Tannehill had trouble establishing much of a rhythm in Sunday's game, with much of his production coming late in the blowout loss. He finished with 241 passing yards while completing 31 of 49 passes, with one touchdown and one interception. The score came on a third quarter toss to Mike Wallace, which required a one-handed grab for Wallace to bring in.

Tannehill has completed 60.5 percent of his passes through two games, with three touchdowns and two interceptions, but has not looked strong overall. He will look to improve in Week 3 against the Chiefs. 

Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer did little in the second half Sunday against New Orleans - until it mattered the most.

Hoyer hit a wide-open Andrew Hawkins on a 28-yard lob pass with the final seconds ticking away to cap a 79-yard drive and set up the game-winning field goal. That concluded a game in which he completed 24 of 40 for 204 yards, two scores and no interceptions. He compiled an 81.7 passer rating.

He began his day as well as he ended it. Using the no-huddle offense that proved successful in the second half of the opener in Pittsburgh, he drove his team downfield and tossed a 3-yard scoring strike to Miles Austin for a 7-0 lead. But he finished the first half 9 of 19 for just 67 yards and struggled at times finding a rhythm with his receivers until the final march.

Hoyer and the Browns host Baltimore next Sunday.

The Texans ruled the following players inactive for Week 2 against the Raiders: Safety Shiloh Keo, tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz, linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, quarterback Tom Savage, wide receiver DeVier Posey, tackle Jeff Adams and nose tackle Louis Nix

The Raiders ruled the following players inactive for Week 2 against the Texans: quarterback Matt McGloin, running back Maurice Jones-Drew, safety Jonathan Dowling, linebacker Nick Roach, guard Tony Bergstrom, tackle Matt McCants and defensive end Shelby Harris.

The Redskins announced their seven inactive players for Week 2 against the Jaguars, and included four players dealing with injuries.

Linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee), defensive lineman Kedric Golston (groin), defensive back Tracy Porter (hamstring) and tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring) were all sidelined as a result of their injuries. They were joined on the inactive list by quarterback Colt McCoy, wide receiver Santana Moss and offensive lineman Spencer Long. 

Cowboys quarterback Dustin Vaughan, linebacker Justin Durant (groin), nose tackle Ken Bishop, tackle Donald Hawkins, tackle Darrion Weems (shoulder), defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee) and defensive end Lavar Edwards (knee) were all ruled inactive Week 2 at Tennessee.

The Titans have released their final injury report for Week 2.

Linebacker Zach Brown is the only player who has been ruled out for the contest. Defensive lineman Mike Martin is questionable. The team listed four players as probable entering the game. Justin Hunter, Jackie Battle, Charlie Whitehurst and George Wilson should be able to go Week 2. 

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford underwent surgery Monday for his torn ACL, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He suffered the injury during the preseason and will miss the entire season.

It's only one game, but early returns were promising for Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. After making bad decisions and displaying poor fundamentals late last season, Stafford did nearly everything right in Monday's win over the Giants.

"I do think Matthew did a tremendous job of making good decisions," coach Jim Caldwell told the Detroit Free Press. "I think you saw him spread the ball around quite a bit. I thought he did a nice job of not forcing the ball. He did take some check-downs that ended up being pretty sizable plays for us."

Stafford threw for 346 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score without committing a turnover.

The Patriots signed defensive end Cameron Henderson to the practice squad and released quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson from the squad.
