C.J. Beathard QB | JAC
Jaguars' C.J. Beathard: Emergency QB for Week 13
Beathard (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Beathard served as the Jaguars' backup quarterback for the last two games behind Mac Jones due to Trevor Lawrence being sidelined with an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder. However, with Lawrence returning Sunday, Jones will be the No. 2 quarterback while Beathard serves in an emergency role. As the emergency quarterback, Beathard would only see the field if both Lawrence and Jones were to be knocked out of the game due to injury.

Jeff Driskel QB | WAS
Commanders' Jeff Driskel: Emergency QB vs. Tennessee
Driskel (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Driskel will once again serve as the Commanders' emergency quarterback Sunday. He'd only see the field if starter Jayden Daniels and backup Marcus Mariota were both to suffer injuries.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Returning from two-game absence
Lawrence (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
After missing the Jaguars' last two games with an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder, Lawrence has been cleared to reclaim starting duties coming out of a Week 12 bye. Lawrence was listed as a limited participant in all three of the Jaguars' practices this week, but he displayed enough improvement with his condition for the coaching and medical staff to sign off on his return. While an offseason procedure on the shoulder hasn't been ruled out, Lawrence looks poised to play through the issue for the final six contests of the campaign.

Brock Purdy QB | SF
49ers' Brock Purdy: Remains on track to play Sunday
Purdy (shoulder), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo, didn't have any setbacks Friday or Saturday and is expected to start against the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Purdy's shoulder issue caused him to miss last Sunday's loss to Green Bay, but after getting in some light throwing at the start of this week, he logged a full practice Friday. He appears to have responded well to that session, and with no subsequent setbacks, the star quarterback appears set to return to the field Sunday. Purdy's presence is clearly a big boost to San Francisco's air attack, as No. 2 quarterback Brandon Allen completed 17 of 29 pass attempts for 199 yards, one touchdown and one interception while starting in place of Purdy in a Week 12 loss to the Packers. However, both the 49ers and Bills could face a challenge on offense -- and specifically in the passing game -- Sunday with the forecast calling for wind and frigid temperatures along with potential snow.

Jaren Hall QB | SEA
Seahawks' Jaren Hall: Elevated for Week 13
The Seahawks elevated Hall from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Colin Gunther of the team's official site reports.
It's the first time Hall has been elevated to the active roster since signing with the Seahawks' practice squad in early September. Hall will likely operate as Seattle's emergency third quarterback against the Jets on Sunday behind starter Geno Smith and backup Sam Howell.

Michael Pratt QB | TB
Buccaneers' Michael Pratt: Elevated from practice squad
The Buccaneers elevated Pratt from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Pratt will be elevated to the active roster for the second time this season. He's expected to serve as the Buccaneers' emergency third-string quarterback for Sunday's game against the Panthers behind starter Baker Mayfield and backup Kyle Trask.

Bo Nix QB | DEN
Broncos' Bo Nix: No injury designation for Monday
Nix (back) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's contest against the Browns.
Nix was a full participant both Friday and Saturday, meaning he's good to go for the primetime affair against the Browns. Cleveland's defense is allowing 251 passing yards over the last three games, which ranks 10th worst in the NFL, and that includes last Thursday's blizzard-like conditions against the Steelers. The rookie quarterback could be poised for yet another outstanding day as he vies for Rookie of the Year honors.
-
Mike White QB | CAR
Bills' Mike White: Elevated for Week 13
The Bills elevated White from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers.
White has been on Buffalo's practice squad since late August and hasn't gotten into a game this season. The veteran quarterback isn't likely to play in Sunday's contest, as both Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky are healthy and ahead of him on the depth chart. Per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, White's elevation may be a move to reward him for his work on the practice squad throughout the campaign.

Aidan O'Connell QB | LV
Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Strong game marred by miscue
O'Connell completed 23 of 35 passes for 340 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and netted no gain on one rush in the Raiders' 19-17 loss to the Chiefs on Friday. He also lost a fumble.
Seeing his first action since Week 7 due to a thumb injury, O'Connell arguably outplayed Patrick Mahomes but still saw the Raiders come up short partly through his own doing. O'Connell's passing yardage total was easily a new career high, and his multi-touchdown tally, which consisted of second-half scoring tosses to Brock Bowers (33 yards) and Tre Tucker (58 yards), was his first of the 2024 season. The second-year signal-caller also spread the ball around to seven different targets, but he wasn't ready for a shotgun snap with 15 seconds remaining at the Chiefs' 38-yard line and saw the ball eventually end up in the hands of Kansas City's Nick Bolton for a game-ending turnover. Despite the heartbreaking finish, O'Connell's overall performance and his chemistry with Bowers (10-140-1) was particularly encouraging, and he therefore carries a bright fantasy outlook into a Week 14 road interconference clash against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Composure on display Friday
Mahomes completed 26 of 46 pass attempts for 306 yards and a touchdown while rushing twice for four yards in Friday's 19-17 win over the Raiders.
Mahomes battled from start to finish against a strong defensive effort on the road by Las Vegas on Black Friday. The star quarterback eclipsed 300 passing yards for the second time this season without turning the ball over. The single touchdown leaves a bit to be desired by fantasy managers, which could be said for his entire 2024 campaign through 12 games (2,979 yards, 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions). Mahomes will need to continue carrying Kansas City's offense next Sunday in a pivotal AFC West matchup against the Chargers.
