  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Gets questionable tag for Sunday

Lawrence (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns after practicing in a limited fashion both Thursday and Friday.

Per Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com, head coach Doug Pederson said earlier Friday that the Jaguars will wait until Sunday before deciding whether Lawrence -- who is dealing with a right high-ankle sprain -- will get the start versus Cleveland. Fortunately for those considering him in Week 14 fantasy lineups, Jacksonville kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, giving managers some alternatives in the event Lawrence can't play. For what it's worth, Jaguars beat writer Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union believes that Lawrence will be able to play through the injury Sunday, based on the signal-caller looked during the media-access portion of Friday's practice. C.J. Beathard is the next man up on the depth chart at quarterback for Jacksonville, and though he doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday, his practice participation was affected this week due to an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

  • Browns' Dorian Thompson-Robinson: Ready for Sunday, but may not start

Thompson-Robinson doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after clearing the NFL's concussion protocol Friday, but head coach Kevin Stefanski wouldn't commit to either the rookie or Joe Flacco serving as the team's starting quarterback in Week 14, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

After exiting the Browns' Week 12 loss to the Broncos upon suffering the concussion, Thompson-Robinson sat out last week's loss to the Rams while Flacco was elevated from the practice squad and replaced him as the Browns' starter. Flacco was generally efficient in the 36-19 loss with 23 completions on 44 attempts for 254 yards, but he also threw a costly fourth-quarter interception that ended any hope of the Browns making a come-from-behind victory. As Zac Jackson of The Athletic notes, Flacco was reportedly first in line for drills in each practice this week, but Thompson-Robinson is apparently still drawing consideration for the Week 14 start after he practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday before taking full reps Friday upon clearing the five-step protocol. The Browns thus look set to take a decision on a starting quarterback up until gameday, with confirmation on that front unlikely to arrive until early Sunday or perhaps not even until pregame warmups leading up to the team's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • C.J. Beathard QB | JAC

Jaguars' C.J. Beathard: Available Week 14, if needed

Beathard (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Beathard's practice activity was affected this week to the injury he sustained to his left shoulder during his relief appearance in Monday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Bengals, but even though he's been cleared to play Week 14, he may not be needed. Trevor Lawrence has made rapid progress in his recovery from the right high-ankle sprain he suffered Monday and is being listed as questionable for Sunday's contest after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday. The Jaguars appear to be viewing Lawrence as a game-time decision, but if he demonstrates enough progress to get the green light to start ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Beathard would be stuck in his usual backup role.

  • Taysom Hill QB | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Questionable after missed practice

Hill (foot/hand) didn't practice in any fashion this week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Though Hill's third consecutive absence from practice Friday was less than encouraging, the Saints aren't yet closing the door on him being ready to play ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday. He's been a huge part of the offense of late -- in part due to injuries at receiver -- and the Saints certainly could use Hill's help this Sunday with Chris Olave (illness), Rashid Shaheed (thigh) and tight end Juwan Johnson (quadricep) all listed as questionable. Head coach Dennis Allen said Hill's foot injury is the real concern, not his left hand, per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Saints' Derek Carr: Questionable after full practice

Carr (concussion/rib/shoulder) was a full practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

The progression to full participation after limited practices Wednesday and Thursday seemingly confirms that the real issue is whether or not Carr can clear concussion protocol in time for Sunday's game, as his shoulder or rib injuries don't look to be anything that would prevent him from playing. Head coach Dennis Allen said Friday that Carr and Jameis Winston both have taken snaps with the first-team offense in practice this week and both have been prepared to make the start, per Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. Carr's availability for Week 14 won't necessarily come down to a game-time call ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, as players in concussion protocol often meet with independent neurologists late Friday or Saturday when attempting to attain clearance for game day. Still, fantasy managers should at least prepare for the possibility that Carr's status isn't confirmed one way or the other until 90 minutes before kickoff, when New Orleans releases its inactive list.

  • Sean Mannion QB | SEA

Sean Mannion: Joins Seattle's practice squad

Mannion signed with Seattle's practice squad Friday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Mannion is the No. 3 quarterback in the organization behind Geno Smith (groin) and Drew Lock, who are both on the 53-man roster. After spending most of the season on Minnesota's practice squad, Mannion was cut late in November after falling to fourth on the Vikings' organizational quarterback depth chart behind trade acquisition Joshua Dobbs, Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall.

  • Taysom Hill QB | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Misses third straight practice

Hill (foot/hand) isn't practicing Friday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

A third consecutive missed practice puts Hill in serious doubt for Sunday's game against Carolina. It remains to be seen if the Saints list him as questionable, doubtful or out on their final injury report Friday afternoon.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Good to go for Week 14

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh confirmed Jackson (illness) will play Sunday against the Rams after the quarterback returned to practice Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. "He was feeling good -- full of life," Harbaugh said Friday. "He looked good out there. He was back. He's recovered."

Jackson missed his first practice of the season Thursday after falling ill, but he seemed to bounce back quickly from the ailment and appeared to be practicing Friday with his usual energy during the portion of the session that was open to the media. Though durability has been an issue for Jackson over the past two seasons, he's enjoyed one of the healthier campaigns of his career and should be fresh coming out of the Ravens' Week 13 bye.

  • Joe Flacco QB | CIN

Browns' Joe Flacco: Uncertain to start Sunday

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski was unwilling to reveal Friday whether Flacco or Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

After being elevated from the practice squad, Flacco started in Week 13 while Thompson-Robinson was in concussion protocol, completing 23 of 44 attempts for 254 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Browns' 36-19 loss to the Rams. The Browns confirmed that Thompson-Robinson has cleared the protocol and is still under consideration for the Week 14 start after he was able to practice in some capacity Wednesday through Friday, but Zac Jackson of The Athletic notes that Flacco was first in line for all the quarterbacks drills in each day of practice. Though both Flacco and Thompson-Robinson will be available Sunday, the Browns seem content to wait until game day to name a starter, with confirmation potentially not arriving until shortly before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Given that Thompson-Robinson presents a threat as a runner, it's possible that the Browns carve out a package of plays for him Sunday even if Flacco ends up getting a second straight start.

  • Browns' Dorian Thompson-Robinson: Clears protocol, may not start Week 14

Thompson-Robinson has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said Friday that he's not yet to ready to name a starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

According to Cabot, the Browns are expected to wait until gameday to decide whether Thompson-Robinson will step back in as Cleveland's starter, or if Joe Flacco will draw a second consecutive start. The Browns have yet to release their final Week 14 injury report, so Thompson-Robinson could still end up carrying a designation into Sunday's contest despite clearing the protocol. Thompson-Robinson was listed as a limited participant in practices Wednesday and Thursday while Flacco took most of the reps with the first-team offense.
