It's still not totally clear why, but Corral was already away from the team more than a week before this move. In any case, he'll now have to look for another chance to stick on an NFL roster elsewhere.

Zac Taylor said Monday it's "hard to say" whether Burrow (calf) will be available versus the Rams on Monday Night Football in Week 3, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Burrow tweaked his right calf during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Ravens, and the Bengals still are in the initial stages of evaluating the severity of his injury. Thus far, there have been no indications that Burrow could be dealing with a long-term issue, but it may take a few more days of evaluation before Cincinnati has a firm idea about his Week 3 prospects. Burrow missed the entire preseason due to a calf injury sustained back in July, and even with the Bengals having opened the 2023 season with back-to-back losses, the team may be particularly cautious regarding the star quarterback's recovery. Jake Browning would stand to start Week 3 if Burrow can't go.

Mahomes and the Chiefs agreed Monday to restructure his contract, giving the quarterback a $210.6 million salary between 2023-26, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Mahomes' new restructured deal brings his pay back in line with the elite QBs of the NFL, giving him the highest salary in NFL history for a four-year span. He and Kansas City reportedly plan to revisit the deal again after the conclusion of the 2026 season, at which point Mahomes' salary will once again likely be revised to meet the standard of the QB market. The superstar quarterback is fresh off a 305-yard, two-touchdown performance in Sunday's win over the Jaguars on what was his 28th birthday. He's facing a prime opportunity to rack up numbers against a vulnerable Bears secondary Week 3.

Jones completed 31 of 42 pass attempts for 231 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Dolphins. He added 25 rushing yards on five attempts.

Jones has now eclipsed 40 pass attempts in each of his first two starts after doing so just once in 2022. Part of it has to do with the Patriots facing tough opponents and being forced to throw from behind. Unfortunately for his fantasy managers, Jones was unable to convert all of those attempts into positive results against Miami's secondary like he did against the Eagles in Week 1. Things won't get any easier for Jones in the near future, as he will face the Jets' stout defense next Sunday with the Cowboys looming in Week 4.

Tagovailoa completed 21 of 30 pass attempts for 249 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 24-17 win over New England.

Tagovailoa was held in check by a division opponent after going off for 466 yards and three scores against the Chargers last week. The 25-year-old connected with favorite target Tyreek Hill for an early touchdown, but the passing game gave way to Raheem Mostert (18-121-2) and Miami's running game in the second half to seal the victory. Tagovailoa may be without his second favorite target, Jaylen Waddle (head), next week after the wideout exited Sunday's contest to be evaluated for a concussion. Either way, Tua's fantasy managers are hoping for results closer to Week 1 when the Dolphins head home to host the Broncos next Sunday.

Howell completed 27 of 39 pass attempts for 299 yards and two touchdowns while adding 13 rushing yards on two attempts in Sunday's 35-33 win over Denver.

Howell and the Commanders were down 21-3 early in this contest, but the quarterback stayed poised and helped lead his team to victory. The 2022 fifth-round pick has thrown for 501 yards with four combined touchdowns and one interception while going undefeated in his first two starts with Washington this season. Howell will look to continue his early success against the Bills next Sunday.

Tannehill completed 20 of his 24 pass attempts for 246 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Chargers. He added one rush for 12 yards and an additional touchdown.

After turning the ball over three times in a Week 1 loss, Tannehill responded by taking care of the ball in Sunday's win. He was also very efficient with his opportunity by averaging just over 10 yards per pass attempt, highlighted by a pair of deep balls to Treylon Burks and Chris Moore that went for 70 and 49 yards, respectively. Tannehill also took matters into his own hands early in the third quarter when the Titans called an option play that the quarterback kept for a 12-yard scamper into the end zone. Overall, it was a big bounce-back for Tannehill, who will lead the team into a Week 3 matchup against the Browns.

Garoppolo completed 16 of 24 passes for 185 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Bills.

Garoppolo orchestrated a touchdown drive on the Raiders' opening possession, completing all three of his passes for 45 yards, highlighted by a 16-yard connection with Davante Adams for the score. However, he was intercepted one drive later, and his day continued to spiral from there as he was unable to consistently connect with any skill-position players besides Adams and Josh Jacobs. Through two games in Las Vegas, Garoppolo has shown the ability to run the offense efficiently at times, but he's also turned the ball over three times.

Stafford completed 34 of 55 pass attempts for 307 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the 49ers.

Stafford appeared to be on his way to another strong performance and potential upset against a favored opponent, but two untimely interceptions in the second half derailed any hopes for a win Sunday. On a positive note, the veteran signal-caller eclipsed 300 passing yards for the second week in a row, which is a testament to his improved arm health following last year's elbow issues. Stafford has overcome fantasy expectations early on despite missing his best weapon in Cooper Kupp (hamstring) for a minimum of four games to start the season. He will look to clean up the turnovers in a road matchup against the Bengals next Monday.
