  • Commanders' Taylor Heinicke: Comes up short in SNF loss

Heinicke completed 17 of 29 pass attempts for 249 yards and a touchdown Sunday. He rushed three times for 33 yards and lost two fumbles in a 20-12 loss to the Giants.

It was an eventful game for Heinicke despite the losing effort and middling fantasy line. The undrafted veteran almost brought his team back late in the fourth quarter on a gutsy scramble that was ultimately stopped one yard short of the end zone by the Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux. The latter also stripped Heinicke of the ball for a scoop and score at the end of the first half that changed the tide in the game. On the flip side, the 29-year-old had success taking deeper shots down the field -- particularly on a 61-yard bomb to Jahan Dotson -- resulting in his third-highest passing yardage total through eight starts. Heinicke might find it tough to replicate those big-yardage plays against Nick Bosa and the 49ers' ferocious pass rush on Saturday.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Uninspiring fantasy performance

Jones completed 21 of 32 pass attempts for 160 yards, no touchdowns and no turnovers Sunday. He added 35 rushing yards on 10 carries in a 20-12 win over Washington.

Jones produced the stereotypical game manager stat line Sunday, doing just enough to move the chains and protect the ball en route to victory. However, these types of performances do not move the needle in fantasy. It was the fourth time this season that the 25-year-old failed to record a passing or rushing touchdown. On the bright side, Jones gets to face one of the league's worst pass defenses in Minnesota on Saturday.

  • Justin Herbert QB | LAC

Chargers' Justin Herbert: Tops 300 yards in Sunday's win

Herbert completed 28 of 42 passes for 313 yards with two interceptions in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Titans.

Despite the fact he posted his third straight 300-yard game, Herbert failed to get the ball into the end zone for only the third time in 46 career NFL contests. He still came up big when it counted, however, getting the Chargers in position for a game-winning field goal with just 44 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Herbert will look to rack up some TDs in Week 16 against a Colts defense that could still be reeling after huge second-half collapses in each of its last two games.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Saints' Andy Dalton: Efficient in limited role

Dalton went 11-for-17 passing for 151 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 21-18 victory versus the Falcons.

Dalton logged season lows in passing yards and attempts during the Saints' run-heavy attack Week 15. He also wasn't involved in the team's longest play from scrimmage, as change-of-pace quarterback Taysom Hill connected with Rashid Shaheed for a 68-yard touchdown in the first quarter. However, Dalton once again showed why he deserves to be the team's starting quarterback, completing at least 64 percent of his passes for the eighth time in his 11 starts this season. He also connected with Juwan Johnson for two touchdowns during the tight end's return from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury. Dalton's fantasy upside should remain limited if New Orleans continues to utilize a two-quarterback approach Week 16 versus Cleveland.

  • Malik Willis QB | MIA

Titans' Malik Willis: Sees action in Sunday's loss

Willis completed three of four passes for 20 yards and gained eight rushing yards on one carry in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chargers.

The rookie was pressed into action in the first quarter when Ryan Tannehill was carted back to the locker room with an ankle injury, but the Titans' starting QB was able to return to the lineup before halftime, putting Willis back on the sideline. He's gotten snaps in seven games so far this season, but Willis is still looking for his first NFL touchdown, either through the air or on the ground.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Scores on ground Sunday

Tannehill completed 15 of 22 passes for 165 yards with an interception and added a touchdown and one rushing yard on three carries in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chargers.

His weak passing numbers were due in part to leaving the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but Tannehill returned before halftime and appeared to have forced overtime by scoring on a goal-line QB sneak with 48 seconds left in the fourth. Unfortunately for the Titans, their defense couldn't stop Justin Herbert from answering. With Tennessee's lead in the AFC South slipping away, Tannehill will look to post better numbers in Week 16 and avoid an upset against the Texans, something he'll be more likely to accomplish if Treylon Burks (concussion) can get healthy.

  • Brett Rypien QB | MIN

Broncos' Brett Rypien: Manages Denver to victory

Rypien completed 21 of 26 passes for 197 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 24-15 win over the Cardinals.

Rypien was filling in for the injured Russell Wilson (concussion) and managed the game effectively. He threw almost exclusively in the short areas of the field -- his longest completion went for only 19 yards -- and his lone touchdown of the game came on a three-yard touchdown toss to Eric Tomlinson midway through the fourth quarter. Wilson cleared concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's win, so it's likely that Rypien will return to a backup role for a Week 16 matchup against the Rams.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Tosses three TDs against Patriots

Carr completed 20 of 38 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Patriots.

The quarterback looked good early as the Raiders built a 17-3 lead, hitting Darren Waller and Mack Hollins for second-quarter TDs, but he seemed to flinch late after throwing a pick-six to Kyle Dugger on Las Vegas' first possession of the second half that kicked off a New England comeback. Carr came up big when it counted though, hitting Keelan Cole for a 30-yard score with 32 seconds left to tie the game at 24-24 and set up a wild ending that saw Chandler Jones walk it off with a defensive touchdown. Carr has tossed multiple TDs in six of the last seven games but has thrown at least one INT in four straight, making him a volatile option heading into a Week 16 trip to Pittsburgh.

  • Trace McSorley QB | WAS

Cardinals' Trace McSorley: Enters in relief

McSorley completed seven of 15 passes for 95 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Broncos. He added one rush for eight yards.

McSorley entered the game three plays into the second half after Colt McCoy was forced to the sidelines due to a head injury. He completed a few long completions of 29 and 18 yards but still managed only 6.3 yards per attempt. To make matters worse, McSorley also threw two interceptions, the latter of which led directly to Denver's game-clinching touchdown. If McCoy can't clear concussion protocol in time for a Week 16 matchup against the Buccaneers, McSorley will likely be called upon to start.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Throws four second-half TDs

Burrow completed 27 of 39 pass attempts for 200 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 34-23 win over Tampa Bay. He added eight rushing yards on three attempts.

It was a tale of two halves for Burrow and the Bengals, who mustered just three points in the first half before going off for 31 unanswered points after halftime. The star quarterback welcomed back Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Tyler Boyd (finger) from minor injuries by dialing up both for two of his four scores in the decisive win. Burrow is up to 31 touchdowns with three games left in the regular season, putting him well on pace to surpass last year's career-high mark of 34. The 26-year-old will prepare to face the Patriots on the road Saturday.
