  • P.J. Walker QB | SEA

Panthers' PJ Walker: Doubtful for Week 12

Walker (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Walker is expected to miss a second consecutive game after spraining his ankle in a Week 10 win over the Falcons. Sam Darnold will make his first start of the season for the struggling Panthers offense, while Baker Mayfield will work as the backup if Walker sits out, as expected.

  • Kyle Allen QB | BUF

Texans' Kyle Allen: Confirmed as Week 12 starter

Head coach Lovie Smith confirmed Friday that Allen will start at quarterback Sunday versus the Dolphins, Deepi Sidhu of the Texans' official site reports.

With the Texans sitting on a 1-8-1 record through 10 games, Allen will be given the chance to right the ship while struggling starter Davis Mills moves to the bench. Smith hasn't revealed his plans at quarterback beyond Week 12, but for now, Allen represents a fantasy lineup option for those who had been utilizing Mills, as well as for managers looking to add signal-caller depth in deeper formats. In 21 career regular-season games with Washington and Carolina, Allen has completed 63.1 percent of his throws for 6.9 yards per attempt and a 24:17 TD:INT while adding four scores on the ground.

  • Davis Mills QB | HOU

    Texans' Davis Mills: Officially benched

Head coach Lovie Smith confirmed Friday that Mills will move to the bench while Kyle Allen takes over as the Texans' starting quarterback for Sunday's game in Miami, Deepi Sidhu of the Texans' official site reports.

As anticipated, Mills has lost his starting job while the Texans are in the midst of a five-game losing streak. The second-year quarterback's play has deteriorated lately, as he threw a costly pick-six in Houston's Week 11 loss to the Commanders and reached 170 yards only once in the last four games. Even if Mills gets the job back from Allen at some point, Houston will almost certainly draft a new starting quarterback after the season, marking the end of Mills' tenure atop the depth chart.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Productive in Week 12 win

Cousins completed 30 of 37 passes for 299 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the Vikings' 33-26 win over the Patriots on Thursday night. He also netted minus-1 yard on one rush attempt.

Cousins rose to the challenge against a tough Patriots defense, following his forgettable 105-yard performance against the Cowboys four days prior. The veteran signal-caller opened the scoring with a six-yard touchdown pass to Justin Jefferson to cap off the first possession of the game before subsequently hitting T.J. Hockenson and Adam Thielen for additional touchdown tosses in the second and fourth quarter, respectively. The latter closed out a clutch six-play, 71-yard march that ended up being the difference in the game, and it afforded Cousins his first three-touchdown effort of the season. He'll aim to keep the Vikings offense hot in an unenviable Week 13 home matchup against the Jets a week from Sunday.

  • Mac Jones QB | SF

Patriots' Mac Jones: Season-high yardage total in loss

Jones completed 28 of 39 passes for 382 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Patriots' 33-26 loss to the Vikings on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Jones put together his most productive day of the season yardage-wise in the losing effort while completing four passes of greater than 30 yards. The second-year signal-caller hit Nelson Agholor and Hunter Henry for his pair of touchdown passes, and he had a second one to the latter reversed on replay as well. Nevertheless, the multi-score tally was Jones' first of the season, and he's now thrown for an impressive 628 yards over his last two outings. Jones will be right be back in action next Thursday night for key primetime divisional home clash against the Bills.

  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Big second half in Thanksgiving win

Prescott completed 21 of 30 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Thursday's 28-20 win over the Giants.

He also added four rushing yards on two carries. It was a tale of two halves for Prescott -- he got picked off twice before halftime as the Giants built a 13-7 lead before being nearly perfect over the final two quarters and tossing two TDs to Dalton Schultz to fuel the comeback. Prescott has thrown multiple touchdowns in four straight games, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 13 clash with the Colts.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Held in check by Dallas

Jones completed 21 of 35 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 28-20 loss to the Cowboys. He added 14 rushing yards on three carries.

The Giants were able to take a lead into halftime thanks to their defense, but Dallas took control in the third quarter and Jones' only TD pass of the afternoon came with a little over a minute left in the fourth with New York down by 15. The quarterback once again played a turnover-free game, fumbling once but recovering it himself, but the Cowboys' pass rush also gave him few opportunities to sustain drives. Jones will look for better numbers and a better result in Week 13 against the Commanders.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Comes up big against Lions

Allen completed 24 of 42 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Thursday's 28-25 win over the Lions. He added 78 rushing yards and another TD on 10 carries.

While his Thanksgiving performance was somewhat marred by another red-zone interception on Buffalo's first drive of the second half, Allen was clutch when it counted, finding Stefon Diggs on a five-yard TD strike with just under three minutes left in the fourth quarter before hitting his No. 1 receiver again for a 39-yard gain with only 23 seconds left to help set up Tyler Bass' game-winning field goal. It's the first time in five games since the Bills' bye that Allen has produced three or more touchdowns, giving him some much-needed momentum heading into a crucial AFC East road tilt against the Patriots in Week 13.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Two touchdowns in narrow defeat

Goff completed 22 of 37 pass attempts for 240 yards with two touchdowns in Thursday's 28-25 loss to Buffalo.

Goff put together a respectable stat line for fantasy purposes despite losing yet another scoring opportunity to Jamaal Williams and his league-leading 13 rushing touchdowns. However, the QB ended the game on a low note when the Lions were down three in Bills territory facing 3rd-and-1 and Goff decided to overlook multiple open receivers to poorly attempt a pass downfield to DJ Chark. With that said, better days could be ahead for Goff now that Detroit's offense -- which led the league in many offensive categories through the first few weeks of the season -- is getting significantly healthier. The impending debut of explosive rookie Jameson Williams (knee) can only bolster Goff's upside down the stretch.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Full practice Thursday

    Rodgers (thumb) practiced fully Thursday.

On Wednesday, Rodgers was asked about the nature of the thumb injury that he sustained back in Week 5. Per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Rodgers said he's been playing through a broken thumb over the last six contests, a span in which he's completed 62 percent of his passes, averaged 230.8 pass yards per game and thrown 11 touchdowns versus four interceptions. With his status again cleared up by week's end, Rodgers' current focus is Sunday's matchup with an Eagles defense that has allowed a NFL-best 5.8 yards per attempt and picked off a league-high 13 passes (tied with the Bills) from opposing quarterbacks this season.
