  • Dolphins' Teddy Bridgewater: Not available for backup duties

Bridgewater (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, is expected to be inactive this week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Bridgewater was a limited participant in Friday's practice after a chronic knee issue flared up on him, and while the injury isn't considered a serious one, the Dolphins are inclined to err on the side of caution with the veteran signal-caller by keeping him out this week. Rookie seventh-round pick Skylar Thompson will likely step in for Bridgewater as the backup to starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Expected to play through UCL injury

Allen (elbow), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Vikings, is expected to suit up and start, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Allen is expected to play through his UCL injury Sunday, as the Bills have reportedly been assured by multiple arm doctors and specialists that the star quarterback won't have any added risk of worsening the injury if he suits up versus Minnesota. Buffalo also elected not to elevate Matt Barkley from the practice squad Saturday, another indication that Allen is trending toward active status. Case Keenum remains the only other quarterback on the active roster. Head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Allen's availability is "an hour-to-hour situation," however, so fantasy managers will need to continue monitoring things until official confirmation arrives when Buffalo releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Wanted back for 2023

The Seahawks have interest in re-signing Smith as the starter for the 2023 season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Smith, heading into Sunday's contest against the Buccaneers in Munich, is approaching his 10th start of the 2022 season. The 32-year-old boasts a 73.1 percent completion rate through his nine appearances thus far, with 2,199 passing yards and a 15:4 TD:INT ratio, plus one more score on the ground. Considering the impressive quality of Smith's play, it's no surprise that Seattle will work to re-sign him as a continued starter, though contract talks are expected to take place after the season. That provides Smith with further opportunities to bolster his resume, beginning with Sunday's international matchup against a Tampa Bay defense that returns starting safety Antoine Winfield from the concussion protocol.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Game-time call, but unlikely to go

Murray (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams, isn't expected to play, but the Cardinals won't make a final decision on his status until evaluating him in pregame warmups, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Murray remains a true game-time decision, so the final word on his status may not arrive until closer to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, which limits the potential pivot options of fantasy managers. In addition to Murray reportedly not being expected to play Sunday, it's possible that the hamstring injury which limited him in practice Thursday and Friday could significantly hamper his mobility versus Los Angeles' stout defensive front. Colt McCoy will take over as Arizona's starting quarterback Week 10 if Murray can't go.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Week 10 status TBD

The Cardinals aren't expected to decide whether Murray (hamstring) will start Sunday against the Rams until he's evaluated in pre-game warmups, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The report indicates that the decision will be based on how well the QB is able to move, with Schefter's source noting that Murray "needs to be able to open up and run before the game to get the green light." If Murray isn't able to play, Colt McCoy would be in line to start in his place. In any case, final confirmation of Murray's Week 10 status will arrive once the Cardinals' inactives are posted ahead of the team's 4:25 ET kickoff, though added context regarding his availability could surface in advance of the first wave of kickoffs Sunday.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Could miss Week 10

Murray, who is listed as questionable, is slated to test his hamstring out prior to Sunday's game against the Rams, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Fowler relays that a source "expressed skepticism" regarding Murray's status, but the QB's official availability will remain undecided until pre-game warmups. As could be expected based on the nature of his injury, Murray's status will come down to how well he can move, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. If he is unable to suit up, Colt McCoy would take over as the starting quarterback.

  • Rams' Matthew Stafford: Unlikely to play

Stafford (concussion), who is officially listed as questionable, is unlikely to play Sunday against the Cardinals, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Stafford hasn't been officially ruled out, but he'll need to clear concussion protocol by Sunday morning in order to suit up, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. He's reportedly shown progress throughout the week, so the Rams are trying to give him as much time as possible prior to declaring him out. If Stafford is unable to clear protocol ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, John Wolford would step in as the Rams' starting quarterback.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Appears on track to play

Tannehill (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, appears on track to play after the Titans didn't elevate a quarterback from the practice squad prior to Saturday's deadline for Week 10 roster moves, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Considering Tannehill managed to practice all week, his expected return to the lineup shouldn't come as a major surprise. The status of Tannehill won't be officially confirmed until the Titans release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but the signal-caller looks like he'll be able to put an end to his two-game absence while Malik Willis returns to the backup quarterback role. In addition to Tannehill, the Titans are also expected to return arguably their most explosive pass catcher in rookie Treylon Burks (foot), who was activated off injured reserve Saturday.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Trending in positive direction

The Bills did not elevate a quarterback from the practice squad Saturday, which means Allen (elbow) is trending toward playing in Sunday's contest against the Vikings, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

If Matt Barkley had been elevated to the active roster, the Bills would have had three quarterbacks potentially available Sunday, likely signaling an absence for the MVP frontrunner. Expect a more official confirmation from the team prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but at least for now, the lack of a Barkley elevation seems to bode well for Allen's status in what amounts to a pivotal contest for both squads.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Gets questionable tag this week

Tannehill (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos after practicing in a limited fashion Friday.

Per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, Tannehill appear to be trending in the right direction after practicing all week, but head coach Mike Vrabel didn't say anything definitive about the quarterback's status for Sunday's game following Friday's team workout. If Tannehill -- who logged a full session Thursday -- is able to return from his two-game absence this weekend, Wyatt suggests that it should open up the team's offense, after Malik Willis was limited to a total of 11 completions through his two starts filling in for Tannehill. Fortunately for those considering either of Tennessee's signal-callers in fantasy lineups, the team kicks off during the early slate of games Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
