  • Lions' Craig Reynolds: Active in Week 7

Reynolds (hamstring/toe) is listed as active Sunday at Baltimore.

Despite being capped to two limited sessions during Week 7 prep, Reynolds will gut through the hamstring and toe injuries that he dealt with in advance of this contest. With David Montgomery (ribs) sidelined, the Lions likely will lean on rookie first-round pick Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) out of the backfield, but Reynolds also should get some run. Through six games this season, Reynolds is averaging 3.7 yards on his 24 carries and has gathered in all three targets for 26 yards.

  • Kareem Hunt RB | KC

Browns' Kareem Hunt: Cleared to play Sunday

Hunt (thigh) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Hunt had been listed as questionable and looked like a true game-time decision heading into Sunday after he had his practice reps limited throughout the week while he managed a thigh strain, but he showed enough in pregame warmups for the Browns to give him the green light to play. Though Hunt grinded out 47 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries to go with three catches for 24 yards in last week's win over the 49ers, he could see his role scaled back a bit this Sunday while he manages the injury. In addition to Hunt and starter Jerome Ford, the Browns are keeping two other running backs active against the Colts in Pierre Strong and Deon Jackson.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Trending toward playing Monday

McCaffrey (oblique) is trending toward being active Monday against the Vikings, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per Schefter, "all signs point to" McCaffrey -- who is officially listed as questionable after being deemed a limited practice participant Saturday -- being available versus Minnesota, with the running back indicating after Saturday's session that he feels 'great.'" McCaffrey's Week 7 status will be confirmed when the 49ers' inactive list is posted approximately 90 minutes before Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. At this stage, McCaffrey is looking like he'll be ready to go, though it's unclear if he could face any limitations with his snap count or workload if active.

  • DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC

Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Primed for No. 2 role

Dallas is expected to serve as the Seahawks' No. 2 back Sunday against the Cardinals with Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) listed as questionable but not in line to be active for the contest, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Kenneth Walker will remain Seattle's lead back and could take on a slightly larger share of the snaps and touches out of the backfield with his top backup out of the mix, but Charbonnet's expected absence clears the way for Dallas to at least have a change-of-pace role in the offensive game plan. While both Walker and Charbonnet have been available for each of the Seahawks' first five games, Dallas has played single-digit snaps on offense in every contest, recording five carries for 14 yards and three catches for 11 yards during that span.

  • Kareem Hunt RB | KC

Browns' Kareem Hunt: Looks like true game-time decision

Hunt (thigh) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Colts, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Hunt is officially listed as questionable due to a thigh injury, but the Browns appear set to wait and see how he fares during a pregame workout before a determination is made on his availability. Jerome Ford will likely be the favorite to lead Cleveland's backfield no matter the case, but Hunt piled up 71 yards from scrimmage plus a score on 15 touches versus the 49ers in Week 6. Official word on Hunt's status will arrive when Cleveland releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Lions' Craig Reynolds: Expected to play Sunday

Reynolds (hamstring/toe) is expected to suit up Sunday versus Baltimore, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Reynolds, who is officially listed as questionable, is expected to be on the field Sunday along with rookie Jahmyr Gibbs, who has already been cleared to return from a two-game absence. Though Gibbs will be the favorite to lead Detroit's backfield, Reynolds could handle a significant role on early downs with David Montgomery (ribs) already ruled out. However, Reynolds' involvement could be more dependent on game script, as Gibbs would likely dominate the snaps if the Lions should fall behind early and abandon the run game. The Lions will officially announce Reynolds' status roughly 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Not expected to face Arizona

Charbonnet (hamstring) is not expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Charbonnet is officially listed as questionable, but his hamstring issue looks like it will cause him to miss the first game of his career. In that case, DeeJay Dallas will be in line to operate as the No. 2 option behind top running back Kenneth Walker. Confirmation on Charbonnet's status will arrive when Seattle releases its inactive list roughly 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Intends to play

Jones (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Denver, intends to play barring a setback, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

After sitting out the Packers' Week 5 loss to the Raiders before a Week 6 bye, Jones remained a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday while continuing to heal from the strained left hamstring he sustained in the season-opening win over the Bears. Despite his lack of full practice participation, Jones appears on track to return to the lineup in Denver, though it's unclear if he'll be asked to handle a full workload. His status will be officially confirmed when Green Bay releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Rams' Myles Gaskin: Unlikely to suit up Sunday

The Rams are expected to make Gaskin a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Los Angeles backfield has been shaken up this week after its top two members -- Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee) -- both landed on injured reserve after sustaining injuries in the Week 6 win over Arizona, but Gaskin doesn't look as though he'll get an immediate opportunity to contribute to his new team. After Gaskin was signed off the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday, the Rams want to give the 26-year-old more time to get acclimated to the offense before potentially having him make his team debut Week 8 at Dallas. The Rams are expected to make rookie sixth-round pick Zach Evans and practice-squad call-ups Royce Freeman and Darrell Henderson their active backs against the Steelers, but Gaskin could end up getting a chance to take on a notable role Week 8 if none of Freeman, Henderson and Evans are able to distinguish themselves this weekend. Schefter suggests that while Freeman is the team's likely starter versus Pittsburgh, Freeman and Henderson will combine to handle the "majority of the workload," with Evans being "sprinkled in" as the No. 3 option out of the backfield.

  • Zach Evans RB | NYJ

Rams' Zach Evans: Looks set to remain backup Week 7

Evans is expected to serve as a backup option behind Royce Freeman and Darrell Henderson in Sunday's game against the Steelers, sources tell Adam Schefter of ESPN.

While he was active for just the second time all season in last week's win over the Cardinals, Evans picked up his first NFL carries late in the contest once Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee) went down with injuries. Even though Williams and Rivers have since been moved to injured reserve and are set to miss at least the Rams' next four games, Evans doesn't look like he'll be in line to climb to the top of the depth chart, as the Rams reportedly believe the rookie sixth-round pick out of Ole Miss needs more time to learn the offense and acclimate to the NFL. Though he's still expected to be active over the recently signed Myles Gaskin on Sunday, Evans looks like he'll be ticketed for the No. 3 role while practice-squad imports Freeman and Henderson are first in line for work. Schefter relays that Freeman is likely to start, but how the Steelers defense lines up as well as how Freeman and Henderson fare will dictate which of the two leads the backfield in the weeks to come while Williams and Rivers are on the mend. Evans is expected to be "sprinkled in" to the backfield rotation Sunday, per Schefter, but the 22-year-old appears unlikely to get more than a handful of touches.
