Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Jets' Dalvin Cook: Relegated to backup role
Cook rushed three times for 12 yards and caught his only target for two yards in Sunday's 20-14 win over the Eagles.
Cook opened the season in a timeshare with Breece Hall, but Hall has 42 touches in the last two games compared to Cook's 10. The Jets have little reason to increase Cook's usage after the team's Week 7 bye, as the veteran running back is averaging a paltry 2.8 YPC, while Hall's at a robust 6.5 YPC.

Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Involved as backup
Blackshear rushed five times for 18 yards and caught his only target for four yards in Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Dolphins.
Blackshear was promoted to Carolina's second-string tailback with usual starter Miles Sanders (shoulder) sidelined. With the Panthers now entering their bye week, Sanders has extra time to return healthy ahead of Week 8's game versus the Texans. Depending on Sanders' status, Blackshear may find himself sparingly used or inactive altogether.

Latavius Murray RB | BUF
Bills' Latavius Murray: Key carries in Sunday's win
Murray carried 12 times for 45 yards in Sunday's 14-9 win over the Giants.
Although the yards were hard to come by for both teams in the low-scoring affair, Murray saw only two less carries than starter James Cook and was frequently on the field during crucial downs, which included short-yardage and red-zone plays. The yardage was a season high for the 33-year-old, who could continue to see a meaningful amount of carries if Damien Harris' neck injury ends up keeping him out of future action.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Bounces back with 71 yards
Cook took 14 carries for 71 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 14-9 win over the Giants.
Cook bounced back from his negative rushing day against the Jaguars in London last week to lead the Bills in touches and backfield production against the Giants. The 23-year-old produced a stat line Sunday nearly identical to the 14.0 carries and 74.0 yards he averaged over his first four games, confirming his status as Buffalo's lead back survived the overseas dud. Now back on track, Cook will look to continue his breakout campaign against the Patriots next Sunday.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Handles 28 touches in return
Barkley (ankle) had 24 carries for 93 yards while catching four of five targets for five yards in Sunday's 14-9 loss to Buffalo.
Barkley completed his speedy recovery from a high-ankle sprain that wound up costing him two games. The coaching staff did not have the luxury of easing the team's star player back into action following a 1-4 start to the season, resulting in a season-high 28 combined touches for Barkley in defeat. The 26-year-old performed well on an individual basis given his heavy workload and the fact that he was likely playing at less than full strength Sunday. Assuming the ankle held up fine, the shorthanded Giants figure to continue leaning on Barkley in a divisional matchup against Washington next Sunday.

Craig Reynolds RB | NE
Lions' Craig Reynolds: Takes over after Montgomery exits
Reynolds rushed 10 times for 15 yards in Sunday's 20-6 win over Tampa Bay. He added two catches for 28 yards.
David Montgomery (ribs) exited the game in the second quarter while Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) was inactive for the second consecutive week. That left Reynolds to lead the backfield, and he found running room to be scarce, though Tampa Bay held Detroit to 1.8 yards per attempt on the ground overall. He also made a few key plays in the passing game, highlighted by a block on Amon-Ra St. Brown's touchdown just before halftime. While that won't help fantasy box scores, it could help keep Reynolds on the field as the lead back for a Week 7 matchup against Baltimore if Montgomery and Gibbs both remain sidelined.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Held to 38 total yards
White rushed the ball seven times for 26 yards in Sunday's 20-6 win over the Buccaneers. He added three receptions on four targets for 12 yards.
White got the first chance to lead Tampa Bay's backfield, but after picking up only nine yards on his first three carries, the team began to split work between him and Ke'Shawn Vaughn. While that's concerning for White moving forward, he was far more efficient than Vaughn both on the ground and as a pass catcher. That may mean that he hangs onto the lead-back role, but White now has fewer than 50 rushing yards in three of five games this season and has only one total touchdown.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Scores first New England touchdown
Elliott carried the ball seven times for 34 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for 15 yards in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Raiders.
The veteran running back scored his first TD as a Patriot midway through the first quarter on a two-yard run, while Elliott's 34 rushing and 49 scrimmage yards were his second-highest totals of the year. Rhamondre Stevenson left Sunday's game to get checked out for head and ankle injuries before returning and scoring New England's final touchdown of the day, but if he were unable to suit up in Week 7 against the Bills, Elliott could be in line to handle his largest workload of the season.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Finds end zone in Vegas
Stevenson carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards and a touchdown and caught five of six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Raiders.
His one-yard TD plunge late in the fourth quarter brought the Patriots within two points, but the team's final drive ended in disaster when Mac Jones got sacked in the end zone for a safety. Stevenson had exited the game earlier to be checked out for head and ankle injuries, but the fact that the running back was not only able to return but make an impact suggests his status for Week 7 won't be in question. The 70 scrimmage yards represented Stevenson's highest total since New England's opener, while the TD was his first since Week 2.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Bills' Damien Harris: Diagnosed with neck injury
Harris has been diagnosed with a neck injury and won't return to Sunday's game against the Giants, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports. Harris has movement in his arms and legs after leaving the game in an ambulance.
This early report is encouraging after Harris was stretchered off in a scary scene, but further details will likely emerge after Harris is examined at a Buffalo-area hospital. The running back was injured on his only touch of the game.
