Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: Late addition to injury report
Gibbs (hamstring) was added to Detroit's injury report Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina.
Gibbs was a limited practice participant Friday after not being listed the previous two days. It's worrisome for fantasy managers, especially given that it's a hamstring injury and Gibbs relies on his speed to make an impact off the bench behind lead back David Montgomery. If the rookie ends up inactive ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, the Lions can turn to Craig Reynolds and/or Zonovan Knight behind Montgomery.

Keaton Mitchell RB | LAC
Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Questionable after full practice
Mitchell (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Pittsburgh.
The undrafted rookie was designated Wednesday to return from injured reserve and has since been a full participant in practice. Having missed the minimum four games, Mitchell could make his NFL regular-season debut this Sunday, though there's also a chance he'll be inactive even if he's healthy enough. If the Ravens call up Melvin Gordon from the practice squad again, it'll be a strong sign that Mitchell either isn't expected to play or won't see much playing time.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Deemed questionable, should play
Hill (foot/hamstring) was a full practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Pittsburgh.
Hill missed Week 3 with turf toe before returning for a Week 4 win over the Browns and taking three carries for 33 yards. The addition of a hamstring injury doesn't seem to seriously threaten his availability for Sunday, but Hill may not get a lot of playing time even if he's active. Gus Edwards and Melvin Gordon both played more than Hill in Week 4, and rookie Keaton Mitchell (shoulder) is eligible to come off injured reserve for Sunday's game.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Giants' Gary Brightwell: Good to go at Miami
Brightwell (ankle) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game at the Dolphins, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Brightwell was hobbled at practice during the week, but the ankle issue he's dealing with won't be severe enough to keep him out in Week 5. His projected role depends almost squarely on the availability of Saquon Barkley, who is listed as questionable with an ankle injury of his own.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Status in question for Sunday
Barkley (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Miami, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Barkley has been operating under practice restrictions the last two weeks as he recovers from a high right-ankle sprain that he sustained Week 2 at Arizona. So far, he's missed two contests due to the injury, and coach Brian Daboll told Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic on Friday that Barkley's status for Week 5 may come down to a game-time decision. The Giants have a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday, so his availability, or lack thereof, will become known about 90 minutes beforehand. If Barkley is limited or out this weekend, Matt Breida again will lead the team's backfield, with Gary Brightwell on hand for any RB reps that linger.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Panthers' Miles Sanders: Avoids injury designation
Sanders (groin) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Detroit.
Sanders took a slightly different path compared to last week, with back-to-back limited practices followed by a full session rather than a DNP on Friday. It's nonetheless possible his groin injury contributes to backup RB Chuba Hubbard getting more opportunities, with Hubbard coming off season highs for touches (16) and snap share (54 percent) in last week's 21-13 loss to Minnesota. Neither back is a high-confidence fantasy play with the Panthers heading to Detroit as considerable underdogs against a defense ranked first in rushing yards allowed (243) and second in yards per carry (3.0).

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Heading toward GTD?
Coach Brian Daboll suggested Friday that Barkley (ankle) could be a game-time decision Sunday in Miami, Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic reports.
Barkley is practicing again Friday but may end up as a limited participant with a 'questionable' designation on the final injury report. Matt Breida filled in as New York's starting RB the past two weeks and handled two of the three largest snap shares of his career (82 and 73 percent).

Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Downplays ankle injury
Herbert (ankle) said after Thursday's 40-20 win over Washington that he expects to be fine moving forward, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Herbert's early exit Thursday put a damper on an otherwise strong performance, as he racked up 76 yards on only 10 rushes. He'll have a few extra days to heal before the Bears' next game against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 15. Despite Herbert's optimism, his practice participation will bear monitoring leading into the Week 6 NFC North clash. If Herbert is able to play, he'll likely work as the top option in a backfield that also includes Roschon Johnson (concussion), Travis Homer (hamstring) and fullback Khari Blasingame, the latter of whom got eight carries Thursday after Chicago's three available running backs got hurt.

Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Makes impact as receiver Thursday
Gibson brought in four of six targets for 64 yards and didn't log a rush attempt in the Commanders' 40-20 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.
Gibson finished third in receiving yards on the night for the Commanders, with the change-of-pace back seeing plenty of opportunity due to Washington's sizable deficit. Gibson's reception and receiving yardage tallies were both season highs, and the complete absence of rush attempts was essentially a byproduct of game script, although Gibson does remain the clear No. 2 running back behind Brian Robinson.

Khari Blasingame FB | PHI
Bears' Khari Blasingame: Extra work due to injuries Thursday
Blasingame rushed eight times for 26 yards in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
With Khalil Herbert (ankle), Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) all exiting Thursday's game early, Blasingame was called on to help ice away the contest with the Bears holding a big second-half lead. Blasingame's touches were his first from scrimmage since arriving in Chicago last season and the only others of his career besides three rush attempts with the Titans in 2021. The Vanderbilt product will very likely be relegated to his customary blocking fullback duties if at least two of his injured teammates are able to return for a Week 6 home matchup against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 15.
