Chris Rodriguez Jr. RB | WAS
Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Leading rusher in Sunday's OT loss
Rodriguez carried the ball 15 times for 79 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
The third-year RB took the lead in the Washington backfield, getting 16 touches to Jacory Croskey-Merritt's 10 and out-gaining the rookie 85 scrimmage yards to 33. The workload and yardage total were also season highs for Rodriguez, and he's making a solid case to break out of the Commanders' committee and take over the clear No. 1 job on the other side of the team's Week 12 bye. Rodriguez has already set new career highs with 60 carries for 279 rushing yards and three TDs through nine games.

Cody Schrader RB | DEN
Jaguars' Cody Schrader: Healthy scratch
Scrader (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Schrader is once again a healthy inactive, a position he has found himself in since the Jaguars re-signed him Oct. 8. The running back finds himself in a tough position where he has seemingly been deemed too valuable to reside on the practice squad but not valuable enough to earn snaps over Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen as rotational backs behind starter Travis Etienne.

Jakob Johnson RB | HOU
Texans' Jakob Johnson: Ready for Week 11
Johnson (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Johnson is active and ready to suit up for his first game since Week 3 against the Jaguars, where he suffered a hamstring injury that placed him on injured reserve. The starting fullback's presence should improve the Texans' special teams unit as well as provide an extra blocker out of the backfield for a rushing attack comprising Nick Chubb and Woody Marks. The addition should be especially potent against the divisional rival Titans, who rank 24th in rush yards allowed with 1,272 on the season.

Dameon Pierce RB | KC
Texans' Dameon Pierce: Healthy scratch Week 11
Pierce (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Pierce will be a healthy scratch for the second time in three games. His next opportunity to play is Thursday against the Bills, though he's unlikely to be active for that contest unless Woody Marks, Nick Chubb or Dare Ogunbowale were to miss time.

Zonovan Knight RB | ARI
Cardinals' Bam Knight: Appears set to suit up Sunday
Knight, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against San Francisco due to an ankle injury, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Knight made an early exit from last Sunday's loss to Seattle after injuring his ankle. He was able to log three limited practice sessions this week, which appears to be good enough for him to take the field Sunday. Assuming he's cleared to play when Arizona releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, Knight may continue to start for the Cardinals but won't necessarily be guaranteed the bulk of the work out of the backfield. Emari Demercado has outproduced Knight in each of the past two weeks and may have earned himself more opportunities on early downs, especially if Knight isn't operating at 100 percent health.

Trayveon Williams RB | CLE
Chargers' Trayveon Williams: Brought up from practice squad
The Chargers elevated Williams from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Williams will join the Chargers' active roster for a second consecutive game to provide backfield depth for Kimani Vidal for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Williams played solely on special teams during the Chargers' Week 10 win over the Steelers and returned two kickoffs for 51 yards in that contest, but he could share some backfield rotational snaps with fellow practice squad running back Amar Johnson.
-
Amar Johnson RB | LAC
Chargers' Amar Johnson: Elevated for Week 11
The Chargers elevated Johnson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
It's the second time Johnson has been elevated to the Bolts' active roster this season. He'll be available for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, when he'll join Trayveon Williams as the Chargers' rotational running backs behind Kimani Vidal. Johnson played in Week 9 against the Titans, but he was limited to just three snaps on special teams.
-
Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Commanders' Chase Edmonds: Elevated for Week 11
The Commanders elevated Edmonds from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.
Edmonds joined the Commanders' practice squad in mid-September, and he'll be available for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Spain to provide additional backfield depth behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols. Edmonds missed the entire 2024 season due to a knee injury and last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Buccaneers, when he turned 49 carries into 176 yards and caught 14 passes (on 17 targets) for 81 yards across 13 regular-season games.

J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN
Broncos' J.K. Dobbins: Move to IR official
The Broncos officially placed Dobbins (foot) on injured reserve Saturday, per the NFL's transaction log.
There was worry that Dobbins' foot injury would require an IR stint, and while that has come to pass, he's now slated to miss at least the rest of the regular season after undergoing surgery on his foot, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. There's also the potential that Dobbins is healthy by the Super Bowl, if the Broncos happen to advance that far, but for as long as Dobbins is sidelined, rookie RJ Harvey will pace the team's backfield, while Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin are on hand for complementary roles.
-
Jakob Johnson RB | HOU
Texans' Jakob Johnson: Activated from IR
The Texans activated Johnson (hamstring) from injured reserve Saturday.
Johnson is still listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC South tilt against the Titans, but his activation from injured reserve primes him to return from a six-game absence due to a hamstring injury. The seventh-year fullback gives the Texans an extra blocker out of the backfield for the running back duo of Nick Chubb and Woody Marks, as well as a contributor for special teams.
