Abdullah has signed a contract with the Raiders.

In 17 games (11 with the Panthers and six with the Vikings) last season, the 2015 second-rounder recorded 51 carries for 166 yards and 38 catches for 289 yards with one TD. He'll provide the Raiders -- who've also added Brandon Bolden in free agency -- with further running back depth behind Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake, while also giving the team another option as a kick returner.

The Falcons and Williams agreed to terms on a one-year contract Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Aside from opting out in 2020, Williams has earned work in each of the seven pro campaigns that he's been on a roster. Most recently, he turned 56 touches into 267 yards from scrimmage and three total TDs in 12 games with the Bears last year. He'll join a backfield led by Mike Davis (ribs) -- at least for the time being -- meaning Williams is poised to have some type of role out of Atlanta's backfield this season.

Freeman is re-signing with the Texans on a one-year, $1.2 million contract, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

The deal reportedly includes $895,000 fully guaranteed, suggesting Freeman is expected to have a spot on the 53-man roster. That's certainly the case given the current state of Houston's backfield depth chart, though the team has plenty of time to add more talent before Week 1. In all likelihood, Freeman will be a special teams player and backup.

Edmonds has been joined by Raheem Mostert (knee) atop Miami's backfield depth chart, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Edmonds and Mostert, who is recovering from knee surgery but expected to be ready for Week 1, look set to helm the Dolphins' revamped rushing game. New coach Mike McDaniel helped craft a prolific zone rushing attack in San Francisco, a scheme which Mostert has already proven himself in and which Edmonds appears perfect for, but it's uncertain whether each player's workload will be consistent. If the Dolphins employ a committee approach, or ride the hot hand on a game-by-game basis, fantasy managers may have difficulty extracting predictable production. Incumbents Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed also remain in the building, but appear more suited for depth roles under the new coaching staff.

Gaskin may have fallen as low as No.3 on Miami's running back depth chart, with the team having signed Raheem Mostert (knee) on Wednesday and Chase Edmonds earlier in free agency, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

One of new coach Mike McDaniel's top tasks in Miami is revitalizing the ground game, and the team wasted no time in bringing in two experienced and reliable tailbacks. Mostert has already proven an ability to post prolific numbers under McDaniel's scheme, though he is recovering from a serious knee injury, while Edmonds emerged as one of the more effective change-of-pace complements in the league during his Arizona tenure. Gaskin, meanwhile, posted a career-high 612 rushing yards last season but saw Duke Johnson overtake him for the No. 1 gig down the stretch. If Mostert is fully healthy by Week 1, it seems more than possible that Gaskin will only operate in a depth role.

Not only is he reuniting with new head coach Mike McDaniel in Miami, but Mostert will also join a backfield led by newcomer Chase Edmonds and Myles Gaskin. First, though, Mostert will need to complete his recovery from October surgery to address chipped cartilage in his left knee. According to a recent report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Mostert is expected to be healthy by Week 1 of next season, at which point he'll look to avoid the injury concerns that limited him to nine appearances between the past two campaigns. When he's been able to suit up in his career, he's averaged 5.7 yards per carry and has scored 14 touchdowns on 320 career touches.

Bolden agreed to terms on a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Vincent Bonsignore of The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Bolden will reunite in Las Vegas with new head coach Josh McDaniels, formerly the offensive coordinator of the Patriots. The 32-year-old was pressed into an expanded change-of-pace role last season after James White's season-ending hip injury and finished the campaign with 44 carries for 226 yards and a rushing touchdown to go along with 41 catches (on 49 targets) for 405 yards and two receiving scores in 17 games. With the Raiders, the versatile Bolden should handle a depth role behind Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake.

Ogunbwale agreed Wednesday with the Texans on a two-year, $3.3 million deal, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Ogunbowale joins a Texans running-back corps in transition. Once the dust settles after free agency and the draft, however, a better read on Ogunbowale's role in 2022 should become available. In all likelihood, the 27-year-old will enter the upcoming season no higher than second on the depth chart, as he's been relegated to a depth role throughout his career and hasn't been especially productive with his limited opportunities.

Bolden was pressed into an expanded role with the Patriots last season after James White's season-ending hip injury in Week 3 created a change-of-pace void behind the team's top early-down options, Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson. With White having re-signed with New England, the versatile Bolden should handle a depth role for Las Vegas behind Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake.

The Chiefs tendered Gore as an exclusive rights free agent Wednesday, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.

Gore is thus expected to compete for a backup role with the Chiefs this summer, after taking 51 carries for 256 yards (5.0 YPC) and two touchdowns in 11 games last season. He also caught eight of nine targets for 105 yards, and avoided any fumbles, showing well in limited action behind Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Darrel Williams. Even if Williams leaves in free agency, it's difficult to see much fantasy upside in Gore, a 2019 undrafted free agent who turned 27 years old in December.
