Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Jets' Khalil Herbert: Limited participant in practice
Herbert (groin) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Herbert wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, so it's possible he's dealing with a groin injury. The 27-year-old running back signed with the Jets in early October and has acted as a depth piece since, behind starter Breece Hall, Isaiah Davis and Kene Nwangwu.

Craig Reynolds RB | NE
Lions' Craig Reynolds: Logs limited practice Thursday
Reynolds (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Thursday.
Reynolds has recorded back-to-back limited practices after missing Week 9 with a hamstring injury. If he can maintain or improve his participation level Friday, the 29-year-old running back could be on track to return in Week 10. Reynolds would very likely be set for light duty should he suit up, as he's seen scant action behind the star running back duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.

Jacob Saylors RB | DET
Lions' Jacob Saylors: Doesn't practice Thursday
Saylors (back) did not participate in practice Thursday.
Saylors did not appear to suffer an injury in Detroit's Week 9 matchup against the Vikings, but he was limited in practice Thursday. Should the 25-year-old reserve running back and kickoff returner be unable to return to practice Friday, he will be at risk of missing Sunday's matchup against Washington.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Full practice Thursday
Barkley (groin) was a full practice participant Thursday.
Barkley tweaked his groin at the end of a 28-yard run in the Eagles' last game Week 8 against the Giants, but after the team's Week 9 bye, he has no practice restrictions whatsoever. He thus is poised to resume leading Philadelphia's backfield Monday at Green Bay on the heels of his first 100-yard effort on the ground this season (150, to be exact).

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Texans' Nick Chubb: Logs limited practice Thursday
Chubb (foot) was limited at practice Thursday.
Chubb was a non-participant in Wednesday's session, but his return to Thursday's practice bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Jaguars. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the running back is able to practice fully to close the week, and in turn whether or not he carries an injury designation into the weekend. If he's available versus Jacksonville, Chubb would be in line to continue to work in a backfield timeshare with Woody Marks.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Another limited session
Kamara (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
For a fifth week in a row, Kamara is dealing with an ankle injury in advance of a game. In the previous four appearances, he's totaled 167 yards from scrimmage and no TDs on 44 touches. In the end, Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Kamara enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Carolina.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt RB | WAS
Commanders' Jacory Croskey-Merritt: Back to full Thursday
Croskey-Merritt (tooth) practiced fully Thursday.
Croskey-Merritt underwent a dental procedure between this past Sunday's loss to the Seahawks and Wednesday, leaving him limited at the first session of Week 10 prep. Now that he's been able to handle every practice rep one day later, he's poised to resume leading the Commanders backfield Sunday against the Lions. Croskey-Merritt has tallied double-digit carries in four of the last five games, a stretch in which he's combined for 70 touches for 316 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited in return to practice
Jones (shoulder/toe) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
According to Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune, Jones was seen stretching prior to Thursday's session, and his ensuing listing on the Vikings' second Week 10 injury report indicates that he's progressing through the AC joint sprain in his right shoulder and also a toe issue. Jones will have one more chance to get back to full activity this week, or he's more likely to enter the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens. If he's able to suit up, he likely will continue his relative timeshare out of Minnesota's backfield with Jordan Mason.
-
Rico Dowdle RB | PIT
Panthers' Rico Dowdle: Logs limited session
Dowdle (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
After sitting out Wednesday's session, Dowdle took a step forward by practicing in a limited capacity Thursday. In order to avoid carrying a designation into Sunday's game against the Saints, Dowdle will likely need to upgrade to full activity Friday in the Panthers' final practice of the week. If he's cleared to play this weekend, Dowdle should be in line for another turn as Carolina's lead back after handily out-snapping and outproducing Chuba Hubbard in an upset win over the Packers in Week 9. In that contest, Dowdle accounted for 141 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 27 touches while playing 72 percent of the snaps. Hubbard, meanwhile, handled a 22 percent snap share and was limited to 17 yards on five touches.

Ollie Gordon II RB | MIA
Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Limited in practice again
Gordon (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Gordon has now logged back-to-back limited practice sessions after having been forced out of last Thursday's loss to the Ravens early with an ankle injury. If he's able to upgrade to a full practice session Friday, Gordon could avoid an injury designation entirely for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bills. Jaylen Wright, who was inactive versus Baltimore, will stand to handle a reserve role behind De'Von Achane if Gordon is inactive or at less than full health Week 10.
