Igwebuike rushed three times for 18 yards while catching three of three targets for 40 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.

Igwebuike saw his first offensive snaps of the season thanks to the absence of Jamaal Williams (groin). The converted safety looked good doing it, too, in addition to having his best day as a kick returner. However, with Williams having a Week 9 bye to recover, it's possible Igwebuike is banished back to special-teams-only status when Detroit travels to Pittsburgh in Week 10.

Jefferson rushed twice for six yards and one touchdown while catching four of four targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to the Eagles.

Making his professional debut with Jamaal Williams (groin) sidelined, Jefferson ultimately shared the No. 2 role with Godwin Igwebuike as D'Andre Swift commanded the vast majority of snaps out of the backfield. While Jefferson was at least able to find the end zone on the last drive of the game, Detroit was down 44 points at that point while David Blough was in at QB. With Williams getting a chance to recover over the Lions' Week 9 bye, it's possible Jefferson could return to being a healthy scratch in Week 10 against Pittsburgh.

Patterson carried the ball 11 times for 46 yards and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Broncos.

His numbers were modest, but the rookie led Washington in rushing yards and saw exactly as many touches as both Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. Patterson's role figures to shrink again coming out of a Week 9 bye if Gibson, who has been playing through a shin injury, is back to 100 percent.

Gibson carried the ball eight times for 34 yards and caught all three of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Broncos.

His 11 touches exactly matched both J.D. McKissic (three carries, eight catches) and rookie Jaret Patterson (11 carries), with McKissic significantly out-producing both his backfield mates. While Gibson was cleared off the injury report prior to Sunday's game, Washington's treatment of the second-year back was a clear sign he isn't 100 percent, but he'll get some extra time to heal up during a Week 9 bye.

Harris carried the ball 23 times for 80 yards and a touchdown and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Chargers.

He got the Patriots on the board with a one-yard plunge in the first quarter. Harris already has six rushing TDs this season, including five in the last four games, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 9 clash with the Panthers.

Patterson ran nine times for 35 yards and caught all five of his targets for 37 yards and a touchdown during the Falcons' 19-13 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Patterson and Mike Davis split touches during the Falcons' Week 8 loss, but the former once again was the more effective option. Davis outpaced Patterson on the ground with 44 yards, but Patterson's versatility in the passing game continues to garner him more looks. The 30-year-old running back capped off the Falcons' only touchdown drive with a 15-yard catch, and he now has seven scores on the season. Patterson will look to continue his strong play against a stout Saints defense during Week 9, which could be made easier if top wide receiver Calvin Ridley (personal) remains away from the team.

Ekeler (hip) carried the ball 11 times for 64 yards and a touchdown and also caught six of his 10 targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Patriots.

Despite appearing on the injury report late in the week with a hip injury and eventually earning a questionable designation for Sunday's contest, Ekeler was a critical factor of a disjointed offense that was plagued by miscommunication. The end result saw the dynamic tailback tally his third straight game with at least four receptions and 40 receiving yards, and his fourth game this season with at least 50 rushing and receiving yards. The 27-year-old is easily on pace to set a career high in both attempts and rushing yards, but the extra rushing workload coupled with a bigger focus on receiver Mike Williams has marginally whittled away Ekeler's receiving workload. Expect another strong day for the star running back when the Chargers take on the susceptible linebacking corps of the Eagles next week.

Head coach Urban Meyer, via NFL.com, said following Sunday's loss to the Seahawks that Robinson suffered a bruised heel, but that he does not know the extent of the injury or how long Robinson will be sidelined.

It was initially reported that Robinson injured his ankle in Sunday's contest, but it turns out he is dealing with a different foot issue. It should not be long before the Jaguars release another update on Robinson's status, and if he ends up missing any more time, Carlos Hyde would be the favorite to serve as the primary fill-in.

Kamara rushed 19 times for 61 yards and one touchdown while catching three of four targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 36-27 win over Tampa Bay.

While most teams have avoided testing the Buccaneers' stout run defense, the Saints had no problem giving Kamara the rock despite limited success. Meanwhile, Mark Ingram received just six carries, which he took for 27 yards. It's possible Ingram's role grows as he gets further acclimated with the Saints' current offense, but New Orleans may also lean on the run game with Jameis Winston (knee) potentially sidelined for multiple weeks. Fortunately, a Week 9 matchup with Atlanta is not a daunting matchup regardless of whether Trevor Siemian or Taysom Hill (concussion) gets the start.

Gaskin rushed 12 times for 36 yards and secured three of four targets for 19 yards in the Dolphins' 26-11 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

Gaskin paced the Dolphins backfield in carries and rushing yardage, but his overall numbers left plenty to be desired. The third-year back does at least now have double-digit carries in consecutive games for the first time this season, and even though running behind Miami's lackluster run-blocking offensive line caps his overall ceiling, Gaskin at least will have a chance at better production at home against the Texans in Week 9.
