DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC
Panthers' DeeJay Dallas: Inactive for second straight game
Dallas (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Dallas will be in street clothes for the second straight game while the Panthers go with Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle and Trevor Etienne as their available running backs. Over his two appearances with Carolina this season, Dallas primarily served as a kickoff return man, but the Panthers appear to be comfortable with Etienne handling those duties for the time being.

Tyler Allgeier RB | ATL
Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Suiting up in Week 8
Allgeier (hip/knee) is active for Sunday's game versus the Dolphins, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
After a week in which he was limited in all three practices due to hip and knee injuries and listed as questionable, Allgeier will be available to a Falcons offense Week 8 that will be led by QB Kirk Cousins, who is getting a spot start for the injured Michael Penix (knee). Allgeier has averaged just 3.6 YPC on his 57 rushes in six contests this season, but he could take advantage of the touches that don't go to top RB Bijan Robinson against a Miami defense that has allowed the fourth-most YPC (5.2) to opposing running backs in 2025.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Bears' D'Andre Swift: Active in Week 8
Swift (groin) is listed as active Sunday at Baltimore.
For a second week in a row, Swift operated with a cap on his practice reps due to a groin injury and entered the weekend listed as questionable. On Saturday evening, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Swift was expected to play Sunday, which has come to pass. Swift is coming off back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances in which he combined for 36 touches for 313 yards from scrimmage and two total TDs. Considering the Ravens have given up the seventh-most YPC (4.7) to opposing running backs this season, he has a prime opportunity to keep up his recent hot streak Week 8.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Cleared to play Week 8
Hall (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Though Hall took a questionable tag into the weekend, the Jets didn't provide any indication that he was at major risk of sitting out Sunday after he turned in a full practice Friday. After averaging 5.3 yards per carry and 8.8 yards per reception through the Jets' first five games, Hall has struggled to find open running room in the last two contests, losses to Denver and Carolina. In those matchups, he took 33 carries for 97 yards (2.9 YPC) while producing a 2-14-0 receiving line on three targets. Hall's lack of productivity of late has been in some part tied to the poor play of quarterback Justin Fields, who struggled to move the offense in both of the past two weeks and appeared to be at risk of losing his starting job heading into Week 8. At least for one more game, however, Fields will retain the starting role for New York after Tyrod Taylor (knee) was ruled out in advance of Sunday's contest.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Bears' D'Andre Swift: In line to play Sunday
Swift (groin), who is officially questionable for Sunday's matchup against Baltimore, is likely to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Swift missed one practice and was limited in two others during the week, but the lack of a full session isn't expected to prevent him from playing Sunday. He logged the same practice regimen last week, when he ultimately suited up and handled 20 touches for 138 yards in a win over New Orleans. Swift now appears set to suit up again this weekend against a Ravens squad that has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Slated to suit up Sunday
Hall (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Hall dealt with a knee injury throughout the week and was limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday. However, the fourth-year tailback was able to practice in full Friday, setting him up to take the field against the Bengals, barring a setback. He'll again be getting the ball handed and tossed to him by Justin Fields, who was announced as the team's starting quarterback for Week 8 on Saturday after some uncertainty about a change under center during the week. Veteran Tyrod Taylor (knee) has been ruled out for Week 8.

Terrell Jennings RB | NE
Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Elevated again for Week 8
The Patriots elevated Jennings from their practice squad Saturday.
Jennings was also elevated each of the past two weeks. He played exclusive on special teams in Week 6 against New Orleans before logging eight offensive snaps and eight special-teams snaps last Sunday versus Tennessee, carrying five times for 18 yards. Jennings has now been elevated three times, so he'd need to be signed to the active roster in order to be eligible to suit up for the Patriots after this weekend.

Malik Davis RB | DAL
Cowboys' Malik Davis: Joins active roster
Davis was elevated to the Cowboys' active roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
With Miles Sanders (knee/ankle) and Phil Mafah (shoulder) both on injured reserve, Davis' elevation provides the Cowboys with running-back depth. The Florida product was active for Dallas' Week 7 win over the Commanders, failing to record an offensive stat across 19 total snaps (18 on special teams, one on offense). He's expected to play a similar role in the Week 8 matchup against the Broncos on Sunday.

Kareem Hunt RB | KC
Chiefs' Kareem Hunt: Officially cleared for Week 8
Hunt (ankle/knee) does not carry an injury designation into Monday's game against the Commanders.
Hunt didn't practice Thursday due to ankle and knee injuries, but he was able to log a full session Saturday to fade an injury tag heading into Monday night's contest. Hunt has logged 53 carries for 205 yards and three touchdowns while adding seven catches (on eight targets) for 55 yards through seven regular-season games.

Kareem Hunt RB | KC
Chiefs' Kareem Hunt: Expected to play vs. Washington
Head coach Andy Reid said Saturday that Hunt (ankle/knee) is expected to play against the Commanders on Monday, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.
Hunt was back at practice Friday and Saturday after missing Thursday's session, and it appears the veteran running back will be available for Week 8 after working through ankle and knee injuries. Hunt and Isiah Pacheco will continue to serve as the Chiefs' one-two punch out of the backfield while rookie Brashard Smith provides depth.
