Woody Marks RB | HOU
Texans' Woody Marks: Being evaluated for concussion
Marks is questionable to return to Monday's wild-card game against the Steelers due to a head injury.
Marks hit his head hard on the field on a carry midway through the second quarter. He is in the medical tent being evaluated for a concussion. Marks had just started to get going on the ground prior to his departure, picking up 51 yards on nine carries.

AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Eagles' AJ Dillon: Ends season with 60 yards
Dillon finished the 2025 regulars season with 12 carries for 60 yards and three catches for 21 yards across seven games.
Dillon entered the year looking like Saquon Barkley's primary backup, but the Eagles were clearly unimpressed with his work, acquiring Tank Bigsby from the Jaguars after Week 1 to fill that role. Dillon held onto a limited role for a few more weeks, but his only game action after Week 6 came in Week 18, with the Eagles resting their starters.

Will Shipley RB | PHI
Eagles' Will Shipley: Step back in second season
Shipley finished his second professional season with 14 carries for 49 yards and added nine receptions for 56 yards in 15 regular-season games.
While Shipley played nearly twice as many offensive snaps as he did as a rookie, his total touches dropped from 34 to 23. The 2024 fifth-round pick doesn't appear to be viewed as anything other than a depth option by the Eagles, as the team acquired Tank Bigsby from the Jaguars after Week 2 to serve as Saquon Barkley's primary backup.

Ja'Quinden Jackson RB | JAC
Jaguars' Ja'Quinden Jackson: Returning to Jacksonville
The Jaguars signed Jackson to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Jackson spent the entirety of the 2025 season on Jacksonville's practice squad but was never elevated for a game. The 24-year-old running back will look to earn a spot on the team's final roster and make his NFL debut during the upcoming campaign.

Anthony Tyus III RB | CAR
Panthers' Anthony Tyus: Inks reserve/future deal with CAR
The Panthers signed Tyus to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Tyus initially signed with Detroit as an undrafted free agent last April. He spent some time with Seattle's practice squad before finding work with Carolina's practice squad in early October. Tyus didn't get elevated for any games this season, but he'll now have a chance to show the Panthers what he can do during upcoming offseason activities.

Damien Martinez RB | GB
Packers' Damien Martinez: Staying in Green Bay
The Packers signed Martinez to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Martinez joined Green Bay's practice squad late last December and is now set to remain with the team for the start of the offseason. The 21-year-old was selected in the seventh round of last year's draft by Seattle before being waived in August, and he'll look to earn a spot on the Packers' final roster for the 2026 campaign.

Montrell Johnson Jr. RB | CAR
Panthers' Montrell Johnson: Gets reserve/future deal with CAR
The Panthers signed Johnson to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Johnson signed with Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent last April and later got a look from the Cardinals before catching on with Carolina's practice squad in mid-December. The Florida product didn't see any regular-season action this season, but he'll now have a chance to show the Panthers what he can do during upcoming offseason activities.

Frank Gore Jr. RB | BUF
Frank Gore: Lands back on practice squad
The Bills reverted Gore to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Ty Johnson (ankle) missed Sunday's wild-card win over Jacksonville, giving Gore an opportunity to log his first non-preseason NFL action as a pro. Gore ended up playing four offensive snaps, catching his only target for six yards. If Johnson is unable to return to action for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against Denver, Gore could be elevated again, though he'd be well behind James Cook and Ray Davis in the RB pecking order.

Pierre Strong Jr. RB | GB
Packers' Pierre Strong: Inks deal with Green Bay
The Packers signed Strong to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Strong signed with Green Bay in September as additional depth at running back, but he did not appear in a game this season. The 27-year-old will participate in the Packers' offseason activities and compete for a spot on their active roster next season.

Omarion Hampton RB | LAC
Chargers' Omarion Hampton: Uneven rookie season ends in loss
Hampton lost a yard on his only carry in the Chargers' 16-3 wild-card loss Sunday to the Patriots.
The rookie was active for the contest despite failing to practice both Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury, but the Chargers opted not to give Hampton -- who logged just two snaps on offense Sunday -- much work as Kimani Vidal took all 11 of the team's other RB carries. It was a rollercoaster of a season for the 2025 first-round pick, as Hampton was thrust immediately into prominence Week 1 due to Najee Harris' eye injury and capped off a solid first month with an explosive 165 total yards on 17 touches Week 4 against the Giants. That game ended up being Hampton's only contest over 100 total yards the rest of the season, however, as the 22-year-old missed seven weeks due to a fractured ankle and returned to work behind an offensive line completely in tatters by Week 14. The Chargers are certainly invested enough in Hampton to make him a sought-after fantasy asset in 2026, but the team will need to make a concerted effort to rebuild an offensive line that was decimated by injuries by the end of the season. Hampton is expected to have at least one complementary piece alongside him come next season, whether it be exclusive rights free agent Vidal, a cheaper veteran comparable to the aforementioned Harris or a combination of both.
