Breida (ankle) isn't expected to play Sunday against the Packers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Considering he entered the weekend as 'doubtful' to play, Breida was highly likely to miss a second straight game due to a low-ankle sprain. His initial recovery timetable was 1-to-2 weeks, so there's a decent chance he'll be back Sunday, Dec. 1 at Baltimore, assuming he gets through the upcoming week of preparation OK.

Sanders is expected to handle a lead role out of the Eagles backfield with Jordan Howard (shoulder) inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.

While Howard sat out the Week 11 loss to the Patriots, Sanders saw the highest offensive snap share of his young career (85 percent), but only parlayed his 13 touches into 47 yards. The Eagles' offense struggled as a whole to move the ball on a tough New England defense, but the home matchup with Seattle should prove more favorable for the rookie. That being said, coach Doug Pederson has historically favored used a committee at running back, so it wouldn't be surprising if the newly signed Jay Ajayi garnered a complementary role out of the backfield now that he's had a full week to practice with the team. Boston Scott, who acted as the No. 2 option behind Sanders is Week 11, should also remain a part of the game plan in a change-of-pace capacity.

Sanders is expected to see the majority of the touches out of the backfield Sunday against the Seahawks with Jordan Howard (shoulder) unlikely to play, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriots-News reports.

Howard is officially listed as questionable for the contest, but he's expected to be inactive for a second straight game after failing to practice fully at any point this week. Assuming that's the case, Sanders looms as the next man up on the depth chart, though his role on offense may not be quite as sizable as it was in the Week 11 loss to the Patriots. Sanders played 85 percent of the offensive snaps in that contest but managed only 47 total yards on 15 touches, while backup Boston Scott took seven carries for 26 yards. Even if Scott doesn't cut into his workload, Sanders could be threatened by Jay Ajayi, who coach Doug Pederson noted will likely see action in Week 12 after logging zero snaps in his season debut versus New England.

Harris (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Harris was out for last week's win over the Eagles due to the hamstring issue and could miss his second straight game. The 22-year-old may be inactive regardless of his health given that the rest of the team's running backs are currently healthy.

Breida (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday night's game against the Packers, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Breida has an impressive history of fighting through injuries to play at a high level, but his absence from practice for a second straight week leaves us with minimal cause for optimism regarding his Week 12 status. The 49ers likely will use Raheem Mostert as the No. 2 running back behind a slumping Tevin Coleman, who has just 77 rushing yards on 33 carries (2.3 YPC) in three games since his four-touchdown explosion Week 8 against the Panthers. Coleman does have the matchup working in his favor this week, with the Packers allowing 4.8 yards per carry (28th) and 126.9 rushing yards per game (25th).

Jacobs (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Jacobs was listed as a limited practice participant this week as the Raiders continue to manage his reps. It's nothing that's hampered his workload in games of late, as evidenced by Week 11's 23-carry, 112-yard rushing effort against the 0-10 Bengals. Jacobs does, however, have a tougher matchup on tap Sunday, given that the 3-7 Jets are allowing a league-low average of 79.1 yards per game on the ground.

The Jets released Holmes from the practice squad Friday, Randy Lange of the team's official site reports.

Holmes joined the Jets via the NFL's International Player Pathway Program in April, but he reportedly now intends to rejoin Australia's National Rugby League. Because Holmes occupied a special 11th spot on New York's practice squad dedicated to international players, his departure won't allow the team do sign an additional player.

Conner (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Conner was knocked out of the Steelers' Week 11 loss at Cleveland after aggravating the AC joint injury in his right shoulder, which kept him sidelined at practice this week. While he takes a seat for the third time in four contests, some combination of Jaylen Samuels, Benny Snell and Trey Edmunds will handle the reps out of the backfield.

Wilkins logged just one snap on offense in Thursday's 20-17 loss to the Texans.

Wilkins -- who missed Week 11's win over the Jaguars due to an ankle injury -- was, however, healthy enough to see action on 12 special-teams snaps. With starter Marlon Mack (hand) out Thursday, it was Jonathan Williams who headed the Colts' backfield, racking up 104 yards on 26 carries (including a TD) and adding three catches for 17 yards. Meanwhile, change-of-pace man Nyheim Hines rushed nine times for 51 yards and hauled in two passes for 10 yards. Even if Mack misses additional time, Wilkins is off the fantasy radar, since he's clearly been overtaken by Williams in the team's RB pecking order.

Hines rushed nine times for 51 yards and secured two of three targets for 10 yards in the Colts' 20-17 loss to the Texans on Thursday.

In the Colts' first game without Marlon Mack (hand) this season, Hines logged a season high in carries and parlayed it into a season-best rushing yardage tally. Hines also continued in his usual pass-catching role, so he could be poised to continue seeing extra volume if Mack also sits out a Week 13 divisional showdown with the Titans, a week from this Sunday.
