Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Goes off for 200-plus yards, two TDs
Jones (shoulder) rushed 13 times for 67 yards and caught seven passes (on eight targets) for 159 yards and two receiving touchdowns in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Chiefs.
Jones had to leave the contest with a shoulder injury at the tail end of the first half, but he was able to return after halftime and went on to post one of the better receiving lines from a running back we've seen this season. The 24-year-old did most of his damage on a pair of wheel routes out of the backfield where he and Aaron Rodgers exposed man coverage on a lone linebacker. Jones has made significant strides as a receiver this season, nearly doubling his aerial output from last season in four fewer games. The third-year back has seen his rushing production take a hit, averaging 4.1 yards per carry after gaining notice in fantasy circles with a 5.5 average over his first two seasons. Jones remains the preferred back in Green Bay over Jamaal Williams, and heads into a soft matchup against the Chargers next Sunday.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Returns to SNF
Jones (shoulder) was able to return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Jones got injured in the first half but was able to retake the field after halftime. Fantasy owners relying on the 24-year-old running back can breathe a huge sigh of relief.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Rebounds from rough start
Chubb carried the ball 20 times for 131 yards and caught his only target for seven yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Patriots.
His final numbers were good, but Chubb fumbled the ball twice in the first quarter, helping to dig a 17-0 hole the Browns couldn't climb out of. The second-year back has topped 100 rushing yards in three of the last four games, giving him plenty of momentum heading into next week's game in Denver.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Injures shoulder against Chiefs
Jones is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Kansas City due to a shoulder injury.
Jones had been carving up Kansas City's defense prior to exiting, with 94 scrimmage yards and a receiving touchdown in the first half, in addition to another would-be touchdown that was overturned on replay. Jamaal Williams -- who also has a touchdown already -- should step into the lead-back role with Jones on the mend.
-
Raheem Mostert RB | LV
49ers' Raheem Mostert: Breaks out long garbage-time TD
Mostert carried the ball nine times for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 51-13 rout of the Panthers.
He got a chance to contribute after Matt Breida left the game with an ankle injury, and Mostert capitalized with a 41-yard TD run in the fourth quarter for the game's final points. If Breida is forced to miss additional time, Mostert could see a similar workload next week in a potentially plus matchup against the Cardinals.
-
Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Saints' Dwayne Washington: Totals 38 yards in blowout win
Washington carried three times for 38 yards in the Saints' 31-9 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday.
With the game well out of hand, Washington stepped onto the field for a few carries to kill the clock. As long as Alvin Kamara (ankle/knee) is out, Washington will be a handcuff to Latavius Murray, though he's unlikely to see much work when both Murray and Kamara are healthy.
-
Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Records 81 scrimmage yards
Jacobs carried 15 times for 66 yards and caught two passes for an additional 15 yards during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Texans.
Although Jacobs averaged a respectable 4.4 yards per carry against a solid Texans front, his 15 totes on the day were his fewest since Week 3. He made a slight contribution as a pass-catcher, but his total of 81 scrimmage yards was his second lowest of the season. While it wasn't his greatest effort to date, Jacobs' high floor for yardage and touches still makes him a solid fantasy play, and he should continue as such next Sunday at home against the Lions.
-
Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Scores receiving touchdown
Barkley carried 19 times for 64 yards while catching eight of 10 targets for 79 yards and another score during Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Lions.
Barkley struggled to run the ball for the second straight game, averaging just 3.4 yards per carry against a respectable Lions front. He made up for it by nearly doubling his receiving yardage total for the season and adding a four-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. Although Barkley's ankle injury disrupted his start to the campaign, he has exceeded 130 scrimmage yards three times in five appearances while adding three total touchdowns. His next opportunity to contribute will come in a Week 9 Monday night matchup at home against the Cowboys.
-
Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Yet another electrifying showing
McCaffrey ran for 117 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries and caught four of five targets for 38 yards during Sunday's 51-13 loss to San Francisco.
Despite his team's four-game winning streak being snapped by the proverbial buzzsaw known as the 49ers, McCaffrey continued to bowl through opponents from an individual perspective, accumulating more than 150 scrimmage yards for the fifth time this season while also collecting his 10th score of 2019. His 69 combined receiving yards over Carolina's past two games have been somewhat tame compared to the per-game average of 55.8 yards he established between Weeks 1 and 5. In spite of that recent speed bump, his upside remains as high as any player in fantasy heading into a matchup against a Tennessee defense that entered Sunday as a top-13 unit against the run with just 95.1 yards allowed per game on the ground.

Jeff Wilson RB | MIA
49ers' Jeff Wilson: Injury qualified as stinger
Coach Kyle Shanahan qualified Wilson's (head) injury as a stinger in his post-game press conference after defeating the Panthers on Sunday, adding that Wilson's not in the concussion protocol, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Wilson avoiding a concussion is good news, but he should still be considered questionable for San Francisco's Week 9 tilt in Arizona. It doesn't help that the team's on a short week, with the game taking place Thursday.
