Matt Breida RB | SF
49ers' Matt Breida: Expecting a game-time decision
Breida (knee) said he will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Breida was effective while playing through a hyperextended knee last week and managed full practice participation Thursday, but he then scaled back to a limited session Friday, perhaps hinting at some level of concern. His comment after Friday's practice will make it difficult for fantasy owners to trust him in their lineups with the Niners kicking off at 4:25 PM ET. Alfred Morris (knee) also is listed as questionable, but there hasn't been anything to suggest he's in danger of missing the game.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Cleared for Sunday despite limited practice
Kamara (knee) was a limited practice participant Friday but doesn't have any designation on the final injury report for Sunday's game against the Giants, Joel Erickson of The New Orleans Advocate reports.
The Saints managed Kamara's workload during practice this week, having him sandwich two limited sessions around Thursday's full participation. He should be fine for another enormous workload after handling 16 carries and 15 receptions in a Week 3 overtime victory over the Falcons.

Matt Breida RB | SF
49ers' Matt Breida: Officially listed as questionable
Breida (knee) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Breida sandwiched a pair of limited practices around Thursday's full participation, after playing through a hyperextended knee for most of last week's loss to Kansas City. He seems to be on track for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, but we may not know for certain until the 49ers release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes before the 4:25 PM ET kickoff. Alfred Morris (knee) is also listed as questionable after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday.

Mike Boone RB | MIA
Vikings' Mike Boone: Just one reception Thursday
Boone had one reception for one yard on his only target in Thursday's loss at the Rams. He played four snaps on offense but did not have a carry.
Both Roc Thomas and Mike Boone were used on offense in the game even with Dalvin Cook returning from a hamstring injury. However, neither Thomas nor Boone will get more than a few plays on offense as the third and fourth running backs.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Colts' Marlon Mack: Questionable for Sunday
Mack (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
A limited practice participant all week, Mack continues to battle a hamstring injury that has lingered since the Colts' preseason opener on Aug. 9. Coach Frank Reich said Friday that Mack is "making progress" in his recovery, but a pregame workout seemingly will be the tipping point for active or inactive status Sunday. In the event he's unavailable again, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins will split reps out of the backfield.
-
Jonathan Williams RB | WAS
Jonathan Williams: Cut by Saints
Williams was waived by the Saints on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Williams had some hype during the preseason as a potential replacement for Mark Ingram (suspension) throughout September. The Saints ultimately have relied on a heavy dose of Alvin Kamara, with Mike Gillislee getting 14 carries and only three going to Williams. The Saints will use Dwayne Washington as their No. 3 running back for the final game before Ingram returns.
-
Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Questionable to face Titans
Clement (quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Tennessee, Daniel Gallen of PennLive.com reports.
Clement played through the same injury last week against the Colts, gaining 75 carries on 19 touches while splitting work with Wendell Smallwood. The Eagles now expect Jay Ajayi to play through a small back fracture, likely returning Clement to the No. 2 role if he's ultimately cleared for Week 4. Clement seems likely to play after logging a limited practice Thursday, whereas Darren Sproles (hamstring) has already been ruled out for Sunday.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Officially ruled out
Mixon (knee) is officially out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
As a result, Giovani Bernard will once again lead the Bengals' backfield Week 4, with Mark Walton on hand to serve in a backup capacity. Mixon has noted that his knee is feeling good these days, but it's still too early to know if a return to action Week 5 is in the cards for him.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Colts' Marlon Mack: Practicing for third straight day
Mack (hamstring) took part in Friday's practice, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Mack was able to get on the practice field for the third straight day Friday, so he will have a chance to return to action after sitting out the Colts' Week 3 loss to the Bengals. The Colts will provide an official update on Mack's availability for Week 4 after Friday's practice concludes.
