Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Colts' Marlon Mack: Practicing for third straight day
Mack (hamstring) took part in Friday's practice, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Mack was able to get on the practice field for the third straight day Friday, so he will have a chance to return to action after sitting out the Colts' Week 3 loss to the Bengals. The Colts will provide an official update on Mack's availability for Week 4 after Friday's practice concludes.

Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Saints' Dwayne Washington: Joins active roster
Washington was signed to New Orleans' 53-man roster Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Washington joined the Saints' practice squad after being let go by the Lions at roster cutdowns. The 24-year-old had 110 carries for 309 yards (2.8 average) in two seasons with Detroit. Alvin Kamara has been the heavy workhorse with Mark Ingram suspended through Sunday's game against the Giants, and Washington's addition is unlikely to alter that significantly.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Tough sledding in Week 4 loss
Cook (hamstring) rushed 10 times for 20 yards in the Vikings' 38-31 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
Cook was back in uniform after missing the team's Week 3 loss to the Bills, but as had been the case in the other two games he played this season, he found precious little running room. The 23-year-old has now averaged under 3.0 yards per carry in two of the three contests he's suited up for, although he's partly made up for that lackluster production with nine receptions for 107 yards. He'll look to find some success on the ground against the Eagles in Week 5.

Matt Breida RB | SF
49ers' Matt Breida: Practices in full Thursday
Breida (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Breida brushed off a hyperextended right knee and logged every practice rep thrown his way Thursday, just four days removed from sustaining the injury. Meanwhile, Alfred Morris, who wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, was limited Thursday with a knee injury of his own. The duo has had an almost even split of touches and offensive snaps this season -- Breida (39 touches and 42.4 percent) and Morris (42 touches and 44.4 percent). As a result, if Morris remains hindered Sunday versus the Chargers, Breida could take on a massive workload.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Active Thursday
Cook (hamstring) is active for Thursday's game at the Rams.
Cook's availability seemingly was tied to his left hamstring holding up during a pregame warmup. Unlike practice this week, he didn't have a sleeve on that leg, but he'll almost certainly have some type of support on the region for this Week 4 showdown. His workload is the biggest question mark at this point. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Cook will be on a "pitch count," which means some type of split with fellow running back Latavius Murray should ensue.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Slated to play Thursday
Cook (hamstring) is expected to suit up for Thursday's road game against the Rams, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
As Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Thursday, the Vikings will keep a close eye on Cook during pregame warmups to ensure he can handle the rigors of game action after missing one contest with a hamstring injury. Assuming Cook suits up, he'll be on a "pitch count," per Rapoport, which implies Latavius Murray will remain a useful option in the Vikings offense.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Colts' Marlon Mack: Continues to practice Thursday
Mack (hamstring) remained limited at practice Thursday, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
With back-to-back limited practice sessions under Mack's belt this week, Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan Indianapolis indicates that "things are pointing" in the direction of the running back returning to action Sunday against the Texans. In such a scenario, we'd expect the Colts to employ a committee backfield in Week 4, as they did in Week 2 against Washington, when Mack last played. In that contest Mack started and logged 10 carries for 34 yards, while Jordan Wilkins recorded 10 carries for 61 yards and Nyheim Hines ran four times for seven yards and a TD.
-
Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Turns in full practice Thursday
Kamara (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.
Kamara made a surprise appearance on Wednesday's injury report, practicing in a limited capacity due to a knee concern. The issue appears to be minor, though, after managing every practice rep Thursday. He'll thus set his sights Sunday on a Giants defense that has allowed 125.3 yards from scrimmage per game and four touchdowns to running backs this season.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Not practicing, but knee feels good
Though Mixon did not practice Thursday, he indicated that his knee "feels great" as he proceeds with running, cutting and conditioning, Fletcher Page of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Expect the Bengals to confirm Mixon's out status for Week 4 on Friday's injury report, but the running back's progress is encouraging and opens the door to the possibility that he could play again as soon as the Bengals' Oct. 7 tilt against Miami.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Limited by quad issue
Clement was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a quadriceps injury.
The same issue resulted in Clement being labeled questionable ahead of the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Colts. Clement ultimately suited up for the contest and acted as the Eagles' lead back, finishing with 75 total yards on 19 touches and fumbling twice. It's not the best sign that Clement was omitted from Wednesday's injury report before being limited Thursday, but the Eagles may just be acting cautiously with the second-year player. Clement's health is of greater importance with Jay Ajayi (back) and Darren Sproles (hamstring) still on the mend, though Ajayi's outlook for Sunday's game against the Titans brightened after he put in a full practice Thursday.
