  • Kenny McIntosh RB | SEA

Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Four touches against Vikings

McIntosh rushed three times for 14 yards and caught his lone target for 15 yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.

McIntosh played just 12 of the Seahawks 64 offensive snaps Sunday while operating as Seattle's No. 3 running back. The 24-year-old could see an uptick in opportunities in Week 17, however, with teammate Kenneth Walker (ankle) in danger of missing more time due to an injury suffered against the Vikings. It would likely be Zach Charbonnet (elbow) handling the majority of work out of the backfield if Walker misses time, but while he deals with his own injury, the door could be opened for McIntosh to see more touches. The Seahawks visit the Bears in Week 17.

  • Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Six touches in win

McNichols rushed twice for three yards and caught all four of his targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 36-33 win over the Eagles.

McNichols' four targets, four catches and 15 receiving yards were all season highs in each category. The fourth-year running back played 19 of the Commanders' 68 offensive snaps, behind starter Brian Robinson (43) and ahead of Chris Rodriguez (7). Despite his uptick in usage in the passing game in Week 16, McNichols does not see enough consistent usage to be a viable fantasy option. The 28-year-old will look to contribute more on offense when the Commanders host the Falcons in Week 17.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bengals' Khalil Herbert: No touches in win

Herbert failed to record a single rushing attempt or target in Sunday's 24-6 win over the Browns.

Herbert was a complete non-factor in Week 16, playing just two offensive snaps against the Browns. Fellow running back Chase Brown continues to handle the vast majority of Cincinnati's backfield workload, with Herbert providing little to no fantasy value outside of his role as an insurance policy behind Brown. The 26-year-old remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 17 matchup against the Broncos.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Sits out practice Tuesday

The Seahawks estimated Walker (ankle) as a non-participant during Tuesday's walk-through practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Walker was a spectator for the team's second walkthrough of the week after tweaking his ankle in Seattle's 27-24 loss to Minnesota on Sunday. The running back could be in danger of missing his fifth game of the season this Thursday in Chicago. if that's the case, Zach Charbonnet (elbow) -- who was listed as a full participant Tuesday -- could be tasked with handling a three-down role in Week 17.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Turns in full session

Charbonnet (elbow) was listed as a full participant in Tuesday's walk-through practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Though the Seahawks didn't go through a traditional practice Tuesday, Charbonnet took enough of a step forward in activity for Seattle to upgrade him from his limited listing Monday. Meanwhile, the Seahawks listed Kenneth Walker (ankle) as a non-participant for the second straight day, potentially putting him at risk of missing Thursday's game against the Bears. In the event Walker is sidelined, Charbonnet would likely step back into a lead role. In his four starts this season, Charbonnet has dominated the snaps out of the backfield while carrying 62 times for 317 yards and six touchdowns and adding 16 receptions for 118 yards on 20 targets.

  • Patriots' JaMycal Hasty: Full practice Tuesday

Hasty (ankle) was a full participant at the Patriots' practice Tuesday.

Hasty was unavailable for the team's Week 16 loss to the Bills due to an ankle injury, which he now appears to have recovered from. The 28-year-old will likely be back in his role as an option at third-down running back while also operating as a return-specialist for New England on Saturday versus the Chargers.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Unable to practice Tuesday

Head coach Brian Daboll said that Tracy (ankle) didn't participate in Tuesday's informal practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

The Giants won't release their initial Week 17 injury report until Wednesday, but the team opted to hold its first practice of the week Tuesday rather than holding a session on Christmas Day. As such, Tracy is expected to be listed as a non-participant on the first injury report of the week, which isn't especially surprising after Daboll revealed that the running back aggravated an ankle injury in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Falcons. The Giants will see what Tracy is able to do on the field at practices Thursday and Friday before gauging his availability for this Sunday's game against the Colts.

  • Gus Edwards RB | LAC

Chargers' Gus Edwards: Limited by ankle injury

Edwards was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice due to an ankle injury.

Though the Chargers have a lengthier turnaround for Saturday's game at New England after playing Thursday night in Week 16, the extra time off apparently wasn't enough for Edwards to participate fully in practice to begin Week 17 prep. The Chargers didn't provide any indication that Edwards tweaked his ankle in the 34-27 win over the Broncos last week, so it's possible that the injury might have been something that popped up in Tuesday's practice. In any case, Edwards' activity in practice the next two days bears monitoring before the Chargers will have to decide whether he takes an injury designation into Saturday.

  • J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN

Chargers' J.K. Dobbins: Practices in limited fashion

Dobbins (knee) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice.

Los Angeles opened Dobbins' 21-day practice window Monday, but it wasn't until Tuesday that the team submitted its first Week 17 practice report. The running back is unsurprisingly operating with a cap on his reps as he works his way back from the MCL sprain he suffered Nov. 25, and he'll probably need to upgrade to full participation by Thursday for the Chargers to consider adding him back to the 53-man roster ahead of Saturday's game against the Patriots. During Dobbins' four-game absence, the Chargers have been leaning on Gus Edwards (ankle) -- who was also limited Tuesday -- as the lead option of a three-man backfield committee including Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins.

  • Trey Benson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Trey Benson: Opens week with limited practice

Benson (ankle) was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through practice, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports. ""We'll see how they go, but that's obviously why I didn't rule them out," head coach Jonathan Gannon said of Benson and fellow running back James Conner (knee), who was also listed as a limited participant. "They both have a chance to play [Saturday versus the Rams]."

Conner exited this past Sunday's 36-30 overtime loss to the Panthers with the knee injury, while Benson sat out the contest entirely due to the ankle injury he sustained a week earlier in the Cardinals' win over the Patriots. The two backs seem to be in similar spots in their respective recoveries from the injury, but both may need to upgrade to full participation in practices Wednesday and/or Thursday to avoid taking a designation into Saturday. If neither Conner nor Benson is able to gain clearance for the Week 17 contest, Gannon said that Michael Carter "would get a lot of carries," per Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic.
