  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Expected to suit up Sunday

Hall, who is questionable for Sunday's matchup versus Jacksonville due to a knee injury, is likely to play, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Hall missed last Sunday's loss to Miami due to the knee issue and sat out the Jets' first two practices this week. However, he returned to a full session Friday and now seems set to return to action against the Jaguars. Both Braelon Allen (11 carries for 43 yards and four catches for 38 yards) and Isaiah Davis (10 carries for 40 yards with a touchdown and three receptions for 27 yards) got increased opportunities last week, but unless Hall's workload is managed Sunday, neither is expected to see the same type of workload this Sunday.

  • Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Moves to IR

The Cardinals placed Demercado (back) on injured reserve Saturday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

Demercado has been dealing with a back injury since late November, though he had been able to play through the issue until this week. He was ruled out Friday for Sunday's matchup against New England, and one day later the 25-year-old running back has landed on IR. Demercado isn't eligible to return during the regular season, so Arizona would need to get hot and make the playoffs in order for him to have a chance of suiting up again during the current campaign.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Listed as questionable for Monday

Swift (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Vikings.

Swift managed to practice in limited fashion Saturday, an upgrade after failing to practice either of the past two days. That's effectively the same cadence the fifth-year back had last week before ultimately suiting up against the 49ers, where he tallied just 38 yards on 14 carries and barely factored in the passing game. Chicago's offense fell woefully behind in that contest almost immediately, but it's possible the Vikings will put their divisional rival in a similar game-script bind come Monday. Roschon Johnson (concussion) is already ruled out, so if Swift was ultimately unable to play then Travis Homer projects to see a heavy workload, with Darrynton Evans also factoring in.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Out once again

Johnson (concussion) has been ruled out and will not play Monday against the Vikings.

Johnson has now missed the past two contests due to a concussion suffered during the Thanksgiving game against the Lions. With D'Andre Swift (groin) once again questionable for the contest, Travis Homer and Darrynton Evans could see additional looks.

  • Ke'Shawn Vaughn: Reverts to practice squad

Vaughn reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Vaughn was elevated to San Francisco's active roster for the second consecutive week ahead of Thursday night's loss to the Rams, playing six special-teams snaps without recording a stat. The 2020 third-round pick from Vanderbilt could be elevated again for the 49ers' Week 16 matchup against the Dolphins to provide depth at running back with Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) both sidelined for the remainder of the year.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Trending towards another start

Charbonnet is expected to start Sunday versus the Packers after the Seahawks listed Kenneth Walker (ankle/calf) as doubtful, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Walker's status may not be confirmed until the inactive list is released 90 minutes ahead of the Sunday night game, but considering he didn't practice all week, it looks like he should sit out for a second straight game. Charbonnet was fantastic as the starter in the Week 14 win over the Cardinals, turning 29 touches into 193 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Questionable after limited practice

Irving (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers after returning to practice Friday as a limited participant.

The designation was expected after coach Todd Bowles said earlier Friday that Irving will go through a pregame workout before the Buccaneers decide on his active status. That's not ideal for fantasy managers, especially ahead of a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but there are at least more late-afternoon and primetime games than usual this week, which expands the pool of replacement options if Irving is deemed inactive. Rachaad White will lead Tampa Bay's backfield if Irving doesn't play, with Sean Tucker getting some touches off the bench.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Questionable after full practice

Hall (knee) -- who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars -- practiced fully Friday, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.

As Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff approaches, Hall, who was sidelined this past weekend, is trending in the right direction, with interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich noting of the running back after practice Friday, "He looks good right now, so it's promising," according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. Though it appears as though Hall has a decent chance of being available versus Jacksonville, Cimini suggests that in such a scenario Hall could have a reduced role Week 15, considering the emergence of rookie RBs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis, who split carries in last Sunday's overtime loss to Miami.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Listed as doubtful for Sunday

Coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Walker "hasn't practiced yet (this week), so we listed him as doubtful" for Sunday night's game against the Packers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Such a listing indicates Walker is more likely than not to miss a second consecutive contest, but Macdonald noted that the third-year running back has made some progress in his recovery, indicating he may be able to return Week 16 against the Vikings if he's inactive again this weekend. Zach Charbonnet thus appears slated to headline Seattle's backfield in Walker's place Sunday, which resulted in 29 touches for 193 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs in a Week 14 win at Arizona.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Cleared to play Week 15

Mostert (hip) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Texans and is expected to play, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

After limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, Mostert got in a full session Friday and is ready to return following a one-game absence. It's been a challenging 2024 for the 32-year-old running back, as he's compiled a 65-236-2 rushing line while averaging a career-low 3.6 yards per carry. He'll help spell De'Von Achane versus Houston.
