  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Ravens' Derrick Henry: Extends TD streak to seven games

Henry rushed 15 times for 169 yards while catching his only target for a 13-yard touchdown in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.

Henry was quiet in the first half but got rolling after halftime with bursts of 81 and 39 yards on the ground before putting an exclamation point on his night with a 13-yard receiving touchdown, which doubled as Lamar Jackson's fifth passing touchdown in Baltimore's latest stellar performance on offense. Henry has found the end zone in all seven of his games with the Ravens while rushing for at least 132 yards in four of the past five. The 30-year-old running back is showing no signs of slowing down and is likely to handle another heavy workload Week 8 against the 1-6 Browns.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Solid performance in loss

Irving rushed nine times for 23 yards with a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 54 yards in the Buccaneers' 41-31 loss to the Ravens on Monday.

Irving logged one fewer carry than Rachaad White but four more than Sean Tucker as head coach Todd Bowles held true to his pledge to give all three backs opportunities. Irving was the only one of the trio to cross the goal line as a runner, recording his third rushing TD of the season from one yard out with just under four minutes remaining. Irving's work as a pass catcher also was encouraging, as he established a new career high in receiving yards. All three backs could be involved again in a Week 8 home matchup against the Falcons, especially with Chris Godwin (ankle) and Mike Evans (hamstring) very likely to sit out after suffering in-game injuries Monday night.

  • Rachaad White RB | WAS

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Pair of receiving TDs in loss

White rushed 10 times for 40 yards and secured all six targets for 71 yards and two touchdowns in the Buccaneers' 41-31 loss to the Ravens on Monday.

White finished the game as the leader in carries among the Buccaneers' three-pronged ground attack in his return from a one-game absence, but he made his biggest mark by far as a receiver. With Mike Evans exiting the game in the first half with a hamstring injury, White became one of Baker Mayfield's top targets. The versatile back also found the end zone for the first time this season on an 11-yard grab early in the fourth quarter, and he added a second score from 23 yards out with just under two minutes remaining. White could continue in an elevated pass-catching role in a Week 8 home matchup against the Falcons, as Evans is a candidate to miss the game, and per Scott Smith of the team's official site, the injury that forced Chris Godwin to be carted off on Tampa Bay's final drive appears to be a dislocated ankle that head coach Todd Bowles believes is a long-term issue.

  • Titans' Julius Chestnut: Earns four touches

Chestnut rushed the ball three times for 15 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills. He added one reception on one target for nine yards.

With Tyjae Spears (hamstring) sidelined, Chestnut stepped up as the backup to Tony Pollard. He saw a season-high four touches and eight offensive snaps. However, even if Spears remains sidelined for a Week 8 matchup against the Lions, Chestnut will almost certainly maintain a muted role.

  • Jonathan Ward: Returns to practice squad

Ward reverted to the Steelers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Ward was elevated for the third straight week, recording an assisted tackle while playing 15 snaps on special teams. In order for the running back to join the game-day roster again this season, Pittsburgh will have to officially sign him to the active roster.

  • Jake Funk RB | JAC

Jake Funk: Reverts to practice squad

Funk reverted to the Jaguars' practice squad Monday.

Funk was elevated ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Patriots to provide extra depth as Travis Etienne was sidelined with a hamstring injury. However, Funk ended up not seeing any playing time, with Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson handling all the snaps at running back.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Musters 14 total yards in win

Charbonnet rushed eight times for 19 yards and caught his lone target for minus-5 yards in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Falcons.

Charbonnet actually out-snapped Kenneth Walker, who was dealing with an illness prior to the game. However, Walker finished with 93 total yards and two touchdowns while Charbonnet couldn't get much going on the ground or as a receiver. Walker has proved to be an effective receiver while also operating as the primary goal-line back, making Charbonnet tough to start in most fantasy formats.

  • Trey Benson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Trey Benson: Available in Week 7

Benson (illness) is listed as active Monday against the Chargers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Benson has received at least some offensive snaps in five of the Cardinals' six contests this season, but his touch count has ranged from two to 12 in those outings. Most of that volume has occurred in garbage time, but he's racked up 30 carries for 107 yards, plus two catches on two targets for 12 yards, working primarily behind James Conner and Emari Demercado. A similarly small workload is possible for Benson in Week 7.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Unlikely for Sunday, may play Week 10

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that McCaffrey (Achilles) is unlikely to practice this week, but the 49ers are hopeful the running back will be able to return after their Week 9 bye for a Nov. 10 game at Tampa Bay, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Shanahan added that he would be "surprised" if McCaffrey is able to play Sunday against the Cowboys, per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com. The 49ers can designate McCaffrey to return from injured reserve at any point, which would allow him to get back on the practice field and give San Francisco 21 days in which to activate him. With McCaffrey still sidelined, though, Jordan Mason will continue to operate as the 49ers' lead running back.

  • Rachaad White RB | WAS

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Back in action Monday

White (foot) is listed as active Monday against the Ravens.

While sitting out Week 6 due to a foot issue, White yielded the Buccaneers backfield to Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker, who combined for 219 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, plus five catches on five targets for 80 yards and one more TD. Both Irving and Tucker eclipsed the century mark on the ground, with the former starting and handling a 64 percent snap share and the latter getting a 38 percent share. Because coach Todd Bowles told Scott Smith of the team's official site last Thursday that Tampa Bay will roll with the "hot hand" at running back, White can no longer expect to see the 13.6 touches per game that he received prior to suffering the injury.
