Miller suffered a groin injury during Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Coach John Harbaugh said there "might be a situation there" regarding Miller's health. While there is no official timeline for the running back's return, Harbaugh's comments imply that he may need to miss significant time. If Miller does have a severe issue, he is a strong candidate for season-ending injured reserve, in which case the Giants would likely look to free agency to find another depth rusher for the remaining preseason games.

The Cardinals are "hopeful" that Love (ankle) will be ready for Week 1, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Arizona head coach Mike LaFleur said Saturday that Love would be sidelined at least one week after he suffered an ankle injury during Arizona's 27-14 preseason win over the Raiders on Thursday. LaFleur also declined to say whether Love is dealing with a high-ankle sprain while talking to the media Sunday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports. The No. 3 overall pick of this year's draft tallied 11 carries for 58 yards along with three catches (on three targets) for 14 yards. Fowler added in his report that the team is taking it easy with Love and that he'll be the team's lead back once healthy. His next opportunity to return this preseason is Saturday, Aug. 22 versus the Cowboys, though his timeline likely suggests that the he won't play until at least the preseason finale against Green Bay on Friday, Aug. 28. If Love is unavailable, then Tyler Allgeier would likely be next in line to start, especially since James Conner is still rehabbing from foot and ankle surgeries undergone last September.

The Titans signed Richardson to a contract Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Richardson was waived by the Cowboys in early August. The undrafted free agent out of Tulsa joins the Titans as additional preseason depth. With running back Kalel Mullings (hip) still nursing an injury, Richardson could see some depth reps in Sunday's preseason showdown with the Seahawks.

The Ravens signed Ward to a contract Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Ward signed with the Ravens practice squad in early December of 2025 to bolster the team's depth after Justice Hill went down with a neck injury. The running back must be well-liked within the organization because he is back for round two, set to once again bolster the team's depth as they approach Saturday's preseason showdown with the Vikings.

Charbonnet (knee) remains on the active/PUP list as the Seahawks' second preseason contest (Sunday, Aug. 23 versus the Titans) approaches.

Since placing Charbonnet (who unsurprisingly was on Seattle's 'did not play' list in Saturday's preseason opener against the Cowboys) on the PUP list July 22, the Seahawks haven't offered a concrete update on when the running back might return to practice. However, given that surgery to repair the torn ACL Charbonnet sustained during last season's playoffs didn't occur until Feb. 20, it's reasonable to expect Charbonnet will remain sidelined out of the gate once the team's regular-season slate commences. In that scenario, fellow RBs Jadarian Price (lower body), George Holani and Emanuel Wilson (hamstring) would be in line to see added opportunities early on this season. Seattle's unofficial depth chart currently lists Holani ahead of Price (listed second) and Wilson (third), and while Holani figures to see his share of touches come Week 1, Price -- the No. 32 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft -- remains the upside play in fantasy terms and also should claim a decent portion of the workload, provided he can get (and stay) healthy before then.

The Bucs signed Kpeenu to a contract Sunday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

The undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State rushed for 1,005 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2025. Kpeenu appears to be a depth signing that may push Kadarius Calloway and Josh Williams further as they try to challenge Sean Tucker for a chance to make the 53-man roster.

The Lions waived/injured Robichaux (foot) on Sunday.

The running back's dismissal is a good indication that he fractured his foot in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Bengals. Robichaux will now be placed on waivers and if he remains unclaimed he will revert to the Lions' injured reserve. Once on injured reserve, Robichaux will miss the entirety of the 2026 regular season unless he is waived with an injury settlement. The Lions signed running back Trayveon Williams in a corresponding move.

Vaki (nose) was a full participant in Sunday's practice, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Vaki broke his nose during last Monday's practice session. The fluke injury kept the special-teamer out for just under a week. The running back remains in contention for relief carries behind Jahmyr Gibbs and Isiah Pacheco (knee). With Pacheco out for most of the preseason due to a sprained MCL, Vaki could have a lot of opportunities to show his proficiency in Saturday's game against the Commanders.

Walker played one snap on offense during the Chiefs' 20-12 preseason loss to the Chiefs on Saturday.

Walker's lone snap came on the Chiefs' opening drive, and he was immediately spelled for by 2025 seventh-rounder Brashard Smith. Walker may see more action in the Chiefs' next exhibition game this coming Saturday against the Buccaneers if head coach Andy Reid opts to give the starters more run. Walker is entering his first season in Kansas City after spending the first four years of his NFL career with Seattle. He's expected to lead a Chiefs backfield that also consists of Smith, Emari Demercado and rookie fifth-rounder Emmett Johnson.

Monangai did not play in the Bears' 34-10 preseason win over the Browns on Saturday.

Both Monangai and D'Andre Swift observed Saturday's game from the sidelines while 2023 fourth-rounder Roschon Johnson led all Bears running backs with 22 snaps on offense. Monangai, a seventh-round selection of Chicago in the 2025 NFL Draft, is coming off a productive rookie campaign in which he logged 169 carries for 783 yards (4.6 YPC) and five touchdowns while adding 18 catches (on 30 targets) for 164 yards across 17 regular-season games, two of which he rushed for 130-plus yards. The Rutgers product is expected to serve in a complementary role behind Swift for the upcoming season.
