  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Feeling sick Friday

Kamara missed Friday's practice due to an illness, Brooke Kirchhofer of NewOrleans.Football reports.

There's no word yet on whether the Saints view Kamara's illness as a significant threat to his availability for Sunday's matchup with Tampa Bay. The veteran RB wasn't listed on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Ready for Week 17

Jones (knee/finger) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Minnesota, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Considering the sheer number of injuries Jones has dealt with this season, it's no surprise the Packers capped the practice reps of the seven-year pro this week. With his status clarified for Week 17 and AJ Dillon (thumb) also cleared for takeoff, Green Bay's backfield will have its typical breakdown of Jones first with a sprinkling of Dillon as the game goes on. The result for Jones this past Sunday at Carolina was 22 touches for 135 yards from scrimmage on 52 percent of the offensive plays.

  • Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Cleared for SNF

Mattison (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday night's game against Green Bay.

His status was never really in doubt after he returned from an ankle injury last week and took two touches on five snaps in a 30-24 loss to the Lions. Mattison upgraded to full practice participation Friday after limited sessions earlier in the week, and there's a good chance he gets at least a little more playing time Week 17 given that he's healthier and Ty Chandler managed just 17 total yards last week. Chandler still looks like the better fantasy play out of the two, having taken 65 percent of the snaps last week after rumbling for 157 total yards in a loss to Cincinnati the week prior.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Ready to play

Robinson (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

With the help of a Week 14 bye, Robinson ultimately will miss only two games with what seemed to be a significant hamstring injury. Chris Rodriguez (ankle) filled in as the lead runner and had a pair of rushing TD in last week's loss to the Jets, but he then landed on injured reserve, leaving little question about Robinson's role over the final two weeks. The 228-pound back figures to pick up where he left off in early December, handling most of the carries in a backfield timeshare with Antonio Gibson.

  • Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR

Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Cleared for Sunday

Hubbard (hamstring) was as full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Jacksonville.

The Panthers listed Hubbard as limited Wednesday and Thursday but apparently liked what they saw in practice and don't have any doubts about his Week 16 availability. He has a five-game streak with at least 64 percent snap share, 14 carries, 17 touches and 11.6 PPR points, piling up 446 yards and four TDs in that span.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Colts' Zack Moss: Ruled out for Sunday

Moss (forearm) won't play Sunday against the Raiders, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

With Moss unavailable for the second straight game, Jonathan Taylor is slated to lead the Colts' backfield in Week 17, while Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson are in line to mix in as well. Moss will now target a potential return to action against the Texans in Indy's regular-season finale.

  • Isiah Pacheco RB | DET

Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Returns to practice Friday

Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) was spotted at practice Friday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

It's encouraging that Pacheco is practicing Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday, but he may have to participate fully with contact to have a chance to clear concussion protocol before Sunday's game against the Bengals. Where he stands in that regard will be revealed on Friday's injury report. If Pacheco is unable to play Sunday, Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) and La'Mical Perine would be in line for larger roles, with possible reinforcements coming from the practice squad in the form of Deneric Prince and/or Keaontay Ingram.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Back at practice

Elliott (illness) returned to practice Friday. Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Elliott missed practice Thursday due to an illness, but his return to the field a day later puts him in line to be available to lead the Patriots' backfield Sunday against the Bills. The team's upcoming injury report will clarify whether Elliott carries a designation into the weekend or is fully cleared for Week 17 action.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Colts' Zack Moss: Downgrades to DNP on Friday

Moss (forearm) isn't practicing Friday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

This is a step back for Moss, who was listed as a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday after sitting out the Week 16 loss in Atlanta. Moss will likely carry a questionable designation into Sunday's game against the Raiders, though official confirmation on that front will come later Friday when the Colts post their injury report. Regardless of Moss's availability, Jonathan Taylor is expected to handle the majority of touches out of the backfield for Indianapolis.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Likely game-time decision

Coach Antonio Pierce noted Friday that Jacobs (quadriceps) is viewed as a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Colts, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Jacobs, who was listed as a 'DNP' in both Wednesday's walk-through and Thursday's practice, has one more chance to get some on-field work in ahead of Week 17 action, but either way it seems as though he's trending toward heading into the weekend with an official questionable designation. If Jacobs is limited or out versus Indianapolis, Zamir White would once again be in line to see added backfield touches for the Raiders.
