Kareem Hunt RB | KC
Browns' Kareem Hunt: Limited at Tuesday's practice
The Browns listed Hunt (groin) as a limited participant for Tuesday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Hunt has appeared on Cleveland injury reports for the last few weeks due to a groin issue, but he has yet to miss a game since signing with the team in September. The Browns are likely just managing his reps on a short week, and the expectation remains that he'll once again work in a backfield timeshare with Jerome Ford during Thursday's game against the Jets.

Ameer Abdullah RB | IND
Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Two carries against Chiefs
Abdullah rushed twice for 11 yards and caught his only target for one yard in Monday's 20-14 win over the Chiefs.
Abdullah maintained a limited role out of the Raiders' backfield against the Chiefs in Week 16, despite Josh Jacobs' (quadriceps/illness) absence from the Christmas Day contest. Fellow running back Zamir White handled the bulk of the rushing work, taking 22 carries for 145 yards while Abdullah earned only three touches across 12 offensive snaps. Abdullah could see even fewer opportunities Week 17 versus the Colts if Jacobs returns to action.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. RB | JAC
Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Requires MRI
Rodriguez (ankle) will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
According to John Keim of ESPN.com, Rodriguez was spotted with his right foot in a walking boot following Sunday's 30-28 loss to the Jets, so it's not especially surprising that he'll need an MRI to determine the extent of his injury. With top back Brian Robinson (hamstring) sidelined for the second game in a row Sunday, Rodriguez once again handled an expanded role, getting 10 carries for 58 yards and two touchdowns while adding one catch for seven yards over 22 offensive snaps. With the statuses of Robinson and Rodriguez both in flux for the team's Week 17 matchup with the 49ers, the Commanders are left with Antonio Gibson and Derrick Gore as their lone healthy backs at the moment.

Darrell Henderson Jr. RB | LAR
Darrell Henderson: Gets cut from practice squad
The Rams cut Henderson from their practice squad Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, the Rams signed long snapper Alex Matheson to their practice squad Tuesday. Henderson is set to become a free agent and will now have to look for another opportunity with a different team.

Jaret Patterson RB | LAC
Jaret Patterson: Latches on with Washington
Patterson signed with the Commanders' practice squad Tuesday.
The Commanders are dealing with injuries throughout their backfield, as Brian Robinson (hamstring), Chris Rodriguez (ankle) and Jonathan Williams (concussion) are all banged up. Patterson played in 20 games for Washington across the 2021-22 seasons, rushing 85 times for 344 yards and two touchdowns.

Jordan Mason RB | MIN
49ers' Jordan Mason: Limited to special teams
Mason did not see the field on offense Monday, finishing with 12 snaps on special teams in a 33-19 loss to Baltimore.
The 49ers were playing catch-up for most of this one-sided affair, which resulted in star tailback Christian McCaffrey playing 100 percent of the offensive snaps. This left Mason -- who has been operating as the No. 2 back with Elijah Mitchell (knee) sidelined -- with zero touches after averaging 3.7 carries and 16.7 rushing yards over San Francisco's last three games. Assuming the NFC's top seed does not get blown out by the 4-11 Commanders on Sunday, Mason should resume his role on offense spelling CMC with a handful of touches on New Year's Eve.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. RB | JAC
Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Dealing with ankle injury
Rodriguez suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's win over the Jets, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Rodriguez was spotted in a walking boot after the win, but the exact nature of his injury remains unclear. Jhabvala reports that Rodriguez "rolled his ankle" against New York. Given all of the injuries in its backfield, Washington signed Jaret Patterson to the practice squad Tuesday.

Nick Bawden RB | HOU
Nick Bawden: Back to Jets' practice squad
Bawden reverted to New York's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Bawden was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's 30-28 win over the Commanders, but he remained inactive for the contest. In all 14 of the Jets' prior games, Bawden had suited up, compiling 17 yards from scrimmage on four touches and playing 266 special-teams snaps.

Boston Scott RB | PIT
Eagles' Boston Scott: No magic against Giants
Scott rushed once for three yards and lost a fumble in Monday's victory over the Giants.
Scott had developed a reputation as a Giant-killer, scoring in each of his previous eight matchups against the division rival. He's reached the end zone 10 times against the Giants and just seven times against the rest of the league combined across his six NFL seasons. His luck ran out Monday, however, as he played a total of just two offensive snaps. He was also the victim of some misfortune on a kickoff return, when teammate Olamide Zaccheaus ran directly into him, forcing a fumble.

Kenneth Gainwell RB | TB
Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Season-high 79 yards from scrimmage
Gainwell rushed six times for 41 yards and caught three passes for 38 yards in Monday's win over the Giants.
Gainwell's 79 total yards from scrimmage represented his highest total of the season, though he played less than 40 percent of the Eagles' offensive snaps for the first time since Week 12. He remains clearly behind D'Andre Swift on the depth chart, as Swift received 20 touches in the victory.
