D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Bears' D'Andre Swift: Expected to play Saturday
Swift (groin) is expected to play against the Packers on Saturday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Swift drew the questionable tag for Saturday's NFC North tilt due to a groin injury that limited his practice participation during Week 16 prep. It appears the veteran running back is on track to be available, but his status may not be officially known until the Bears announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. It's not clear what Swift's workload will look like, but rookie Kyle Monangai would be in line for more offensive snaps if the former's workload is limited to reduce the risk of injury aggravation. Swift sits at 935 rushing yards through 13 regular-season games, and he has three more games to reach the 1,000-yard threshold for the second time in his six-year NFL career.

Trayveon Williams RB | CLE
Browns' Trayveon Williams: Could be top backup
Williams is in line to back up Quinshon Judkins in Week 16, as Dylan Sampson (hand) has been ruled out, per Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Browns were in a similar situation last week when Williams made his Cleveland debut, as both Sampson and Jerome Ford (shoulder) were unavailable. It was somewhat surprising that Williams got the nod as the top backup ahead of Raheim Sanders, who's been with the organization all season. However it shakes out Sunday against the Bills, neither of the backups are expected to play a significant role as long as Judkins is healthy.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Cam Akers: Back to practice squad
Akers reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Akers played four snaps on special teams during the Seahawks' overtime win over the Rams on Thursday and did not appear in the box score otherwise. Akers is eligible to be elevated from the practice squad for each of the final two games of the regular season, and he could play in Week 17 against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 28, if George Holani (hamstring) is not activated from injured reserve.

MarShawn Lloyd RB | GB
Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Returns to IR
The Packers placed Lloyd (hamstring) on injured reserve Friday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Lloyd temporarily came off injured reserve Wednesday, but he will now return to IR to keep the 24-year-old eligible to return for the playoffs. Emanuel Wilson is the only fully healthy running back for the Packers heading into Week 16 against the Bears, as Josh Jacobs (knee/ankle) and Chris Brooks (chest) are both questionable for Saturday night.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Texans' Nick Chubb: Questionable after full practice
Chubb (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders after practicing fully Thursday and Friday.
Chubb was inactive for the Texans' Week 15 win over the Cardinals, but he appears to be trending toward a return to action Sunday following back-to-back full practices. Meanwhile, fellow RB Woody Marks (ankle) -- who didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday -- also has been deemed questionable after logging a limited session Friday. In any case, the Week 16 statuses of both players is slated to be confirmed once Houston's inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Chubb's fantasy lineup viability this weekend hinges on Marks' availability, with Jawhar Jordan a candidate to see added snaps against Las Vegas if either Marks or Chubb are limited or out.

Phil Mafah RB | DAL
Cowboys' Phil Mafah: Questionable for Week 16
Mafah (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Mafah opened the season on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury. He was cleared to return to practice Wednesday, and the rookie seventh-rounder has a chance to make his NFL regular-season debut Sunday after a week of limited practices. However, if he does return, then Mafah would likely be limited to special teams while serving as the Cowboys' RB4 behind Javonte Williams, Malik Davis and fellow rookie Jaydon Blue (who has been a healthy scratch since Week 9).

Hunter Luepke RB | DAL
Cowboys' Hunter Luepke: Questionable for Week 16
Luepke (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Luepke was able to practice in full Friday, but his questionable tag for Week 16 indicates that he is still in the league's concussion protocol, so he would need to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play Sunday. If he's not given the green light to play, then the Cowboys may turn to tight ends Brevyn Spann-Ford or Luke Schoonmaker to play some snaps at fullback for Week 16, given that there are no other fullbacks on Dallas' active roster.
-
Woody Marks RB | HOU
Texans' Woody Marks: Questionable after limited practice
Marks (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders after returning to a limited practice Friday.
Marks didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but his return to a limited session Friday gives him a chance to face Las Vegas. Also listed as questionable for the contest is fellow RB Nick Chubb (ribs), but he seems to be trending toward returning to action after practicing fully both Thursday and Friday. Look for added context regarding both players' statuses to arrive late Saturday or early Sunday via national reporters such as ESPN's Adam Schefter or NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, but at this stage it appears as though the composition of Houston's Week 16 backfield, which also includes Jawhar Jordan and Dare Ogunbowale, will not be confirmed until inactives are posted ahead the team's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.
-
Ty Chandler RB | NO
Vikings' Ty Chandler: Chance to play Week 16
Chandler (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Chandler was a full practice participant during Week 16 prep, but he'll have to be activated from injured reserve Saturday in order to be available for Sunday's game. If he's cleared to play, Chandler would likely leapfrog Zavier Scott as the Vikings' RB3 behind Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. Chandler would also be in the mix to join Myles Price as a returner on kickoffs.

Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC
Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Out Week 16, possibly beyond
Tuten (finger) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Tuten could be out multiple games, per the Jaguars' official site, so his practice participation level will bear monitoring ahead of the Jaguars' Week 17 trip to Indianapolis. He didn't practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out for Week 16, which will open the door for LeQuint Allen and DeeJay Dallas to provide backfield depth behind Travis Etienne and return kickoffs.
