Raheem Mostert RB | LV
Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: in clear for Week 16
Mostert (knee/ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
As has been the case for the past several weeks, Mostert has had his practice workload managed while he contends with lower-body injuries, but the Dolphins never provided any indication he was at serious risk of missing Sunday's game against the Cowboys. After sitting out practices Wednesday and Thursday, Mostert took full reps Friday to guarantee his availability for Sunday. Mostert's top understudy, De'Von Achane (toe), has also avoided an injury designation despite being limited Thursday and Friday, but Mostert still shapes up as a strong fantasy option even if he continues to occupy the larger side of a timeshare with Achane out of the backfield. After finding paydirt twice on the ground in last week's 30-0 win over the Jets, Mostert is up to 20 touchdowns on the season, tying him with the 49ers' Christian McCaffrey for the NFL lead.

Derrick Gore RB | WAS
Commanders' Derrick Gore: Joins active roster
The Commanders signed Gore to their active roster Friday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Washington likely signed Gore to ensure depth at running back with Brian Robinson (hamstring) in line to miss his second consecutive game Sunday. Gore is expected to serve as the Commanders' No. 3 RB in Week 16 behind both Antonio Gibson and Chris Rodriguez.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Good to go for Sunday
Taylor (thumb) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Falcons after he was listed as a full practice participant Wednesday through Friday.
Wednesday's practice was merely a walk-through session, but Taylor was able to take all reps during more traditional practices Thursday and Friday and apparently cleared up any lingering concern about his ability to play through the surgically repaired thumb that had kept him sidelined for Indianapolis' previous three games. Prior to having his thumb surgery, Taylor had averaged 17.2 carries and 2.4 targets over his most recent five games, and he could return to that sort of robust workload in his first game back since the Colts may not have capable No. 2 back Zack Moss (forearm) available to spell him. Moss is officially listed as questionable for Week 16 after he exited early in last Saturday's 30-13 win over the Steelers with the forearm injury, but he didn't practice in any capacity this week and may be trending toward sitting out. If Moss is sidelined Week 16, the Colts would be left with Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson as depth options behind Taylor.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Bears' Travis Homer: Could play Week 16
Homer (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Homer could be trending in the right direction to play Sunday, as he's gone from opening Chicago's week of practice with a DNP to logging back-to-back limited sessions Thursday and Friday. If the 25-year-old running back is unable to go in Week 16, the Bears would have a void to fill on special teams, as that's where Homer has played 203 of his 206 total snaps this year.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Colts' Zack Moss: Draws questionable tag
Moss (forearm) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Moss still has a chance to play despite being unable to practice all week after injuring his right forearm in last Saturday's 30-13 win over the Steelers. Even if Moss suits up Sunday, he'll likely be relegated to a backup role, as Jonathan Taylor (thumb) doesn't have an injury designation and will return from a three-game absence. In the each of the previous four games in which Taylor was available, Moss played 41 percent or fewer of offensive snaps. If Moss sits out Sunday, more opportunities could be available for depth backs Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson, though Taylor would still expected to dominate the snaps and touches.

Israel Abanikanda RB | DAL
Jets' Israel Abanikanda: Questionable after limited practice
Abanikanda (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders.
Abanikanda was a limited participant in all three of the Jets' practices during the week. The 2023 fifth-round draft pick got a career-high six touches in New York's previous game, and Abanikanda could continue to work ahead of Dalvin Cook as the top alternative to starter Breece Hall if the rookie's healthy enough to suit up Sunday.
-
D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Questionable due to personal matter
Foreman (personal) returned to practice Friday as a limited participant and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Foreman rejoined the team after missing Thursday's practice, but the Bears apparently weren't willing to clear him for full activity. Typically, a player who appears on the injury report with a non-health-related issue would either miss practice or participate without restrictions, making Foreman's "limited" tag somewhat confounding. In any case, Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson will take on larger shares of the backfield workload if Foreman ends up inactive ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Johnson handled the most snaps and touches among Bears running backs in last week's loss to Cleveland, but Foreman led the way in both categories in the teams' Week 14 win over Detroit.
-
AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Deemed questionable, looking better
Dillon (thumb) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Carolina, with head coach Matt LaFleur saying Friday that he feels good about the running back's progress, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
A broken thumb kept Dillon out for last week's 34-20 loss to Tampa Bay, allowing Patrick Taylor to take 43 percent of snaps (but only three touches) while mixing in behind Aaron Jones in Jones' first game back from an MCL sprain. Jones will lead the way again this Sunday, with either Dillon or Taylor coming in behind him. Dillon is more of a threat to get a significant number of touches, even if the broken thumb slightly compromises his ball security and ability to catch passes. It's possible his active status comes down to a game-time decision ahead of the Packers' 1 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Cleared to play
Jones (knee/finger) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Carolina, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Jones will lead the Green Bay backfield again, though his percentage of the RB touches might be smaller with AJ Dillon (thumb) seemingly on track to return and replace Patrick Taylor as the No. 2 back. The No. 2 role hasn't involved many touches when it's been in Taylor's hands this year, even when he gets around 40 or 50 percent of the snaps. Dillon is listed as questionable after missing last week, and there's a good chance the Packers prioritize their RBs more than usual this Sunday, facing a weak opponent while dealing with numerous injuries at wide receiver.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Giants' Matt Breida: Considered limited Friday
Breida (hamstring) was considered a limited participant on the Giants' estimated injury report Friday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Breida was limited at the team's practice session Thursday and remained less than a full participant on Friday's estimated report. He'll look to increase his workload during Saturday's final session ahead of the team's Week 16 matchup with the Eagles on Monday.
