Rico Dowdle RB | PIT
Cowboys' Rico Dowdle: Five touches in Week 15 loss
Dowdle carried the ball three times for four yards and caught two of three targets for eight yards in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Bills.
The Cowboys offense sputtered once again on the road, and Dowdle's 12 yards from scrimmage was his lowest output since he managed only eight yards in Philadelphia back in Week 9. The No. 2 running back has only seen double-digit touches in a game three times all season, and Dowdle will be little more than a desperation dart throw Week 16 against the Dolphins.

Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Yet to resume practicing
Miller (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Miller has missed the past five games due to an ankle injury, and he doesn't seem likely to be ready by Thursday's game against the Rams. Once Miller resumes practicing, he'll likely need to get a few practices under his belt before he's ready to see game action.

Kene Nwangwu RB | NYJ
Vikings' Kene Nwangwu: One carry as backup RB
Nwangwu had one carry for one yard and had one kickoff return for 14 yards in Saturday's overtime loss at Cincinnati.
Nwangwu worked as the backup running back to Ty Chandler with Alexander Mattison out with an ankle injury. He played 11 snaps on offense. Nwangwu could move back to just a special-teams role if Alexander returns Sunday against Detroit.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: May see increased role down stretch
Hill had five carries for 23 yards Sunday against the Jaguars.
Despite the pedestrian stat line, Hill finds himself thrust back onto the fantasy radar going forward in light of Keaton Mitchell suffering a season-ending left knee injury. Mitchell tore his ACL on Sunday night, and Hill now projects to see his role tick up as the primary complement to Gus Edwards. In the first nine weeks of the season, which is when Mitchell was either on IR or had a minimal role, Hill averaged 7.3 carries for 31.4 yards to go with 1.9 receptions for 8.4 yards. Hill is unlikely to see a massive jump in production, but his usage should make him a potential streaming option down the stretch in deeper formats. The Ravens have a tough matchup upcoming, though, as they'll head west to face the 49ers on Christmas night.

Jordan Mason RB | MIN
49ers' Jordan Mason: Logs 13 snaps Sunday
Mason had five rushing attempts for 20 yards and wasn't targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 45-29 win over Arizona.
Mason wound up logging 13 snaps on offense (23 percent) backing up Christian McCaffrey as normal backup Elijah Mitchell (knee) remained sidelined. Mason finished with 20 rushing yards for the second week in a row, but he was unable to punch in a touchdown like he did against Seattle. The 25-year-old should continue to see a handful of touches against the Ravens next Monday.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Packers' Kenyan Drake: Gets first carry with Green Bay
Drake had one carry for zero yards in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Buccaneers.
Drake recorded his first carry since signing with Green Bay, but it went nowhere, and he was on the field for less than a handful of other plays. He remains an intriguing backfield option for the Packers, but not much else as things stand.
-
Patrick Taylor RB | SF
Packers' Patrick Taylor: Limited impact in loss
Taylor had one carry for six yards and two receptions for minus-4 yards in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Buccaneers.
With AJ Dillon (thumb) sidelined, Taylor worked as the backup behind Aaron Jones, and he played 26 snaps compared to the 29 that Jones received. However, Taylor only tallied three touches while Jones finished with 17. The Packers used a similar distribution in recent weeks when Jones was sidelined and Dillon wasn't, so there is little reason to expect much from Taylor -- he has not recorded more than six touches in a game this season -- unless both of his fellow running backs are unavailable.

Keaton Mitchell RB | LAC
Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: MRI confirms torn ACL
Mitchell (knee) tore his ACL in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Mitchell's injury was confirmed by an MRI. He will miss the remainder of the 2023 season, and his availability for the beginning of the 2024 campaign could be impacted by this injury. Mitchell finishes his rookie season with 47 carries for 396 yards (8.4 YPC) and two touchdowns, as well as nine catches for 93 yards on 11 targets. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will likely lead Baltimore's backfield once again, just as they did while Mitchell recovered from a hamstring injury earlier in the season.

Isiah Pacheco RB | DET
Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Expected to play Week 16
Coach Andy Reid said Monday that he expects Pacheco (shoulder) to play the following Monday against the Raiders barring a setback, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
Reid revealed that Pacheco was medically cleared to play in this past Sunday's 27-17 win over the Patriots, but the team took a cautious approach and kept the starting running back out. Pacheco is likely to return from a two-game absence on Christmas Day, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him fully participating in practice as the Chiefs begin preparing for their Week 16 tilt.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Panthers' Miles Sanders: Barely double-digit yards
Sanders rushed six times for two yards and caught both of his targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Falcons.
Sanders' 16 offensive snaps marked his second lowest this season. With minimal production, he did nothing to cut into Chuba Hubbard's workload. Along with unseating Sanders as Carolina's starting tailback, Hubbard has totaled at least 92 yards from scrimmage in four straight games. That situation leaves Sanders' stock trending in the wrong direction despite facing a vulnerable Packers defense Week 16.
