Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Limited in Thursday's practice
Rotowire
Mitchell (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
For the second day in a row, Mitchell had his reps capped while he manages a left ankle injury. So long as he doesn't take a step back in activity during the Chargers' final practice of the week Friday, Mitchell should still be on track to suit up Sunday against the Seahawks. Through the team's first three games, Mitchell has carried 17 times for 85 yards (5.0 YPC) while adding four receptions for 10 yards and a touchdown in a complementary role behind lead back Omarion Hampton.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Dealing with ankle injury
Rotowire
Mitchell (ankle) was a limited participant at the Chargers' practice Wednesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Mitchell was spotted with a walking boot on his left leg, and the Chargers updated their injury report to reflect the running back as limited Wednesday. Mitchell likely suffered the left ankle injury during Wednesday's session, but he didn't express much concern about the injury, and the running back will have two more chances this week to log a full practice before Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks. If he is unavailable for Week 4, Kimani Vidal would serve as the top reserve option behind starter Omarion Hampton.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Sleepers (Start/Sit)
Rotowire
I'm still starting Omarion Hampton as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues, but I like Mitchell as a flex, especially in PPR. He just had eight carries for 52 yards and three catches for minus-5 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Week 3 at Buffalo, and he played a season-high 38 percent of the snaps. Seattle is a tough matchup in Week 4, but the Seahawks have allowed Rhamondre Stevenson, Jeremiyah Love and Rachaad White to score at least 4.6 PPR points with just their receiving totals alone. The Chargers need to add some juice to their offense, and Mitchell can help in tandem with Hampton.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Week 4 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Mitchell had a solid game in Week 3 at Buffalo with eight carries for 52 yards and three catches for minus-5 yards and a touchdown on three targets. He played 38 percent of the snaps, which was his most action of the season, and he should continue to get work in tandem with Omarion Hampton. Mitchell could also be a potential lottery ticket if Hampton were to miss any time. He's a good stash candidate on your bench for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAAB.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Increased usage in Week 3
Rotowire
Mitchell rushed eight times for 52 yards and caught all three of his targets for minus-five yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Bills.
Mitchell found himself far move involved on offense in Week 3, nearly matching his previous season total of nine carries while the three targets matched a career high. The running back reached paydirt in the first quarter, reeling in a one-yard pass from quarterback Justin Herbert. Mitchell remained the team's second option out of the backfield behind starter Omarion Hampton, but he proved that he could have standalone fantasy value if he gets more consistent touches moving forward.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Unimpressive in Chargers debut
Rotowire
Mitchell rushed four times for nine yards in a Week 1 loss to Arizona on Sunday. He added 47 yards on two kickoff returns.
Mitchell had a long rush of eight yards but combined for just three yards on his other three carries. While he also contributed in the return game, it was a bland Chargers debut for the 24-year-old, who joined Los Angeles as a free agent in March. The Chargers' run game as a whole was largely stifled Sunday, as Omarion Hampton -- the only other RB on the team to log a carry -- finished with a mediocre 43 yards on 12 carries, though he did score a touchdown. Mitchell will look to make more of an impression in Week 2 versus Las Vegas next Sunday.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Returns to practice Monday
Rotowire
Mitchell (undisclosed) returned to practice Monday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
After six straight missed practices, Mitchell's return is a positive step for his Week 1 outlook against the Cardinals. When healthy, Mitchell is expected to serve in a sort-of lightning role to Omarion Hampton's thunder out of the backfield. Mitchell may not be immediately usable in fantasy leagues as a starter, but he's one of the higher-upside bench stashes to see what his role is under new OC Mike McDaniel, who personally campaigned for Mitchell's signing in Los Angeles.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Working off to side Monday
Rotowire
Mitchell (undisclosed) is not practicing Monday but is working off to the side with a trainer, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Mitchell is missing his fourth straight practice due to an unspecified injury, but it sounds like he's getting closer to a return to the field after getting in some work on a side field. Chargers GM Joe Hortiz added that he anticipates Mitchell playing Week 1 against the Cardinals. The Chargers are expected to utilize all three of Omarion Hampton, Mitchell and Kimani Vidal out of the backfield this season, though Hampton is the clear lead back and possesses the most upside from a fantasy perspective. Mitchell, when healthy, likely will handle a handful of weekly touches to showcase his speed and playmaking while giving Hampton a breather. Mitchell is looking like a fantasy bench stash to open the 2026 season.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Four touches in preseason loss
Rotowire
Mitchell rushed three times for minus-1 yard and brought in his only target for 11 yards in the Chargers' 41-17 preseason loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
After Omarion Hampton served as the starting running back on the team's opening possession, Mitchell entered the game the second time the Chargers had the ball and played a total of two drives. The speedy offseason addition saw a 21-yard reception wiped out by an illegal formation penalty, but he had a solid 11-yard gain on his one catch that did count. While Mitchell couldn't get anything going on the ground, the fourth-year pro is expected to play a solid complementary role behind Hampton and alongside Kimani Vidal in coordinator Mike McDaniel's creative offensive scheme.

Chargers' Keaton Mitchell: Will have role on game days
Rotowire
Chargers OC Mike McDaniel said Monday that Mitchell will have an offensive role on game days this season, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports.
McDaniel specifically mentioned all three of Omarion Hampton, Kimani Vidal and Mitchell will have roles in the offense. "All three of those guys will start at that point given the nature of the NFL," McDaniel said. "I will use all three of those guys every game." Mitchell signed a two-year, $9.25 million deal with the Bolts in the offseason, and that's not chump change for a running back, so the money itself suggests McDaniel has a vision for him. Armed with a 4.37 40 time and elite burst, Mitchell is a dream fit in McDaniel's offense that is built on speed. The Chargers have already been experimenting with Mitchell in the passing game this summer. He's a high-upside, lottery-ticket pick in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Gets back on track in 2025
Rotowire
Mitchell finished the 2025 season with 59 carries for 341 yards and a touchdown while adding nine catches for 63 yards on 12 targets over 13 games.
This was a bounce-back season for Mitchell, who was limited to just five games in 2024 after recovering from a knee injury suffered as a rookie. Mitchell was inactive as a healthy scratch for the first month of the season before getting into the mix for the rest of the season. Though Mitchell never garnered more than nine carries in any game, he was effective with his chances by sustaining a 5.8 YPC figure over 59 rushes. He seemed to regain his speed with four carries of at least 20 yards. Mitchell enters the offseason as a restricted free agent, meaning the Ravens will be able to offer him various types of qualifying offers. Derrick Henry and Justice Hill are both under contract for 2026, however.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Tending to calf injury
Rotowire
Mitchell was a limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through practice due to a calf injury, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
The Ravens didn't indicate that Mitchell sustained any sort of injury in this past Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots, so the running back's limited session Tuesday could be indicative of an in-practice setback. Regardless, the Ravens will give Mitchell a chance to potentially maintain or increase his practice activity on two more occasions before deciding whether he takes a designation into Sunday's game at Green Bay. If Mitchell isn't available this weekend, Rasheen Ali would have the change-of-pace role all to himself behind Baltimore lead back Derrick Henry.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Week 16 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Mitchell can be used as a flex option in deeper leagues in Week 16 against New England. In his past two games against Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, Mitchell has combined for 14 carries for 142 yards and no catches on one target, and he scored at least 6.6 PPR points in each outing. He's looked explosive as a change-of-pace rusher in tandem with Derrick Henry, and Mitchell can help Fantasy managers in deeper formats against the Patriots.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Upgrades to full Thursday
Rotowire
Mitchell (knee) was a full participant at Thursday's practice.
Mitchell has recovered from the knee injury that led to his early exit from the past Sunday's loss to the Steelers. The speedster is expected to work in a complementary role to power runner Derrick Henry against the Bengals on Sunday as part of a Baltimore backfield that's missing Justice Hill (neck, IR).
An MRI on Mitchell's knee came back clean after he exited Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Steelers, and the running back's injury is viewed as minor, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Before leaving early Sunday, the explosive Mitchell made an impact, contributing 76 rushing yards and a touchdown on six totes while bringing back three kickoffs for 72 yards. Though he has proven to be a potent complementary piece out of the backfield over his first three NFL seasons, durability is a growing concern for the 23-year-old. Mitchell previously tore the ACL in his left knee in December 2023, but his latest knee issue appears to be less significant. The Ravens are categorizing Mitchell as day-to-day, leaving the door open for him to be available this Sunday in Cincinnati.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Hurts knee Sunday
Rotowire
Mitchell was forced out of Sunday's game against the Steelers with a knee injury.
Mitchell won't return to the contest. Before Mitchell's exit, he carried six times for 76 yards, including a 55-yard gain. In his absence, Rasheen Ali is available to work behind top back Derrick Henry.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Week 14 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Justice Hill (neck) is on injured reserve, so Mitchell is the No. 2 running back behind Derrick Henry. It's not a bad idea to stash Mitchell now if you have an open roster spot for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. If Henry were to miss any time then Mitchell would be at least a flex option in the majority of leagues.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Likely bumping up to RB2 in Week 11
Rotowire
Mitchell could see added opportunities Sunday against the Browns, as Justice Hill (toe) was ruled out Friday.
Derrick Henry is the clear leader in Baltimore's backfield, but the speedy Mitchell should get some chances in a change-of-pace role. Mitchell's averaging 6.2 yards per carry on a limited sample of 15 rushes in 2025, as opportunities have been hard to come by behind Henry and Hill.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Practices in full
Rotowire
Mitchell (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Mitchell was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, but he's now ready to rock for Sunday's road matchup against the Browns. He's logged exactly four carries in three consecutive games, while continuing to contribute as a return man. Justice Hill (toe) missed another practice Thursday, potentially paving the way for Mitchell to handle the No. 2 role behind Derrick Henry in Week 11.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Breaks off big run Sunday
Rotowire
Mitchell had four carries for 31 yards Sunday against the Vikings.
Mitchell got a carry on four of his five snaps Sunday and was effective on those opportunities, including a 22-yard rush, which was the longest of the day for any Raven. The third-year running back has not had more than 10 snaps in any of his five outings thus far, but he's getting work anytime he's on the field. He's averaging 6.2 yards per carry on 15 attempts thus far and is a big-play threat out of the Baltimore backfield. The Ravens head to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 11.
