Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Limited to three carries
Herbert rushed the ball three times for eight yards in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Lions.
Herbert saw his role slip significantly with the return of D'Onta Foreman (ankle), as he worked in a clear backup role. He's been held to 35 or fewer rushing yards in three consecutive games since returning from injured reserve, and that streak looks unlikely to change in Week 15 against Cleveland.

Gus Edwards RB | LAC
Ravens' Gus Edwards: Held to 15 yards
Edwards rushed the ball six times for 15 yards in Sunday's 37-31 win over the Rams.
Edwards continued to see his role slip relative to Keaton Mitchell, as his six carries were his lowest mark since Week 9 and his 15 yards were his fewest from scrimmage this season. Edwards will likely maintain the goal-line role, though Lamar Jackson threw for three long touchdowns in Sunday's victory, so touches near the goal line were very limited. Given the emergence of Mitchell, it will be difficult to trust Edwards down the stretch of the campaign.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Comes up big in Week 14 win
Cook carries the ball 10 times for 58 yards and caught all five of his targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 win over Kansas City.
The second-year running back wound up as the Bills' leading receiver on the day, and Cook opened the scoring by connecting with Josh Allen on a 25-yard TD strike late in the first quarter. Cook has reached 100 scrimmage yards in four straight games, with Sunday's 141 being his best total since he erupted for 159 yards back in Week 2. He could have a hard time extending his streak to five games in Week 15 against a tough and aggressive Cowboys defense.

Zach Charbonnet RB | SEA
Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Paces backfield on nine carries
Charbonnet (knee) had nine carries for 44 yards and one reception on as many targets for four yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to San Francisco.
Both of Seattle's top running backs were limited participants in practice this week -- Kenneth Walker with an oblique injury and Charbonnet with a knee bruise. Both players suited up Sunday, and the latter wound up leading the Seahawks in carries and rushing yards while Walker finished with the most combined touches. Charbonnet had operated as Seattle's No. 2 option when Walker was healthy, so the nearly even split in touches Sunday could have been the result of the starter being eased back into action after missing two games to injury. If Charbonnet continues seeing double-digit touches against the Eagles next Monday, then the role increase may be permanent after all. This development would do more damage to Walker's fantasy value in comparison to how much it would raise Charbonnet's.

Keaton Mitchell RB | LAC
Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Leads Baltimore's backfield
Mitchell rushed the ball nine times for 54 yards in Sunday's 37-31 win over the Rams. He added one catch on two targets for eight yards.
Mitchell led the Baltimore backfield with nine carries and 10 touches, though Lamar Jackson led the team with 11 rushing attempts. Mitchell continued to show off his explosiveness, as his longest gain of the day went for 27 yards, and he also managed four rushes of at least six yards. The Ravens haven't been willing to completely turn the rushing attack over to Mitchell, but he has at least eight carries in four of the team's last five contests.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Struggles in return to action
Walker (oblique) had eight carries for 21 yards and caught four of five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to San Francisco.
Walker returned from a two-game layoff and was greeted by a buzzsaw in the form of the 49ers' defense Sunday. The 23-year-old wound up receivig two more touches than backfield mate Zach Charbonnet (knee), who was limited in practice this week with an injury of his own. Walker struggled while splitting carries in his first game back, but the lowered usage was likely a result of being eased back into action. Look for the power back's touches to increase in Week 15 with the added day of rest and recuperation ahead of next Monday's tilt against Philadelphia.
-
Ty Chandler RB | NO
Vikings' Ty Chandler: Ties season high in touches
Chandler carried the ball 12 times for 35 yards and caught all three of his targets for seven yards in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Raiders.
The second-year pro took over as the Vikings' No. 1 back after Alexander Mattison (ankle) left the game on the first drive of the second half, and Chandler wound up tying his season high in touches, although he didn't produce much with the extra volume. It's not yet clear how serious Mattison's injury is, so Chandler could be in line to get extra carries, or even the start, in Week 15 against the Bengals.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Returns as lead back
Foreman rushed the ball 11 times for 50 yards in Sunday's 28-13 win over the Lions. He added two receptions on three targets for 22 yards.
Foreman returned from a one-game absence to lead the Chicago backfield with 13 total touches, as compared to three for Khalil Herbert and only one for Roschon Johnson. However, his volume was still limited by designed rushes for Justin Fields, who totaled 12 carries in the game. Foreman looks to have reliable volume moving forward, but his time of seeing 15 to 20 carries in a contest is also likely over, meaning he'll need to find the end zone or rip off several long runs to deliver big performances.
-
Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Broncos' Samaje Perine: Five catches in win
Perine (knee) rushed twice for eight yards and caught all five of his targets for 36 yards in Sunday's 24-7 win over the Chargers.
Perine finished second behind Courtland Sutton (62) in receiving yards. He handled his usual role in the backfield on passing situations, suggesting that the knee injury that kept Perine out of Friday's practice isn't hampering him any longer. Perine has caught multiple passes in all but one game for the Broncos heading into a Week 15 trip to Detroit.

Kyren Williams RB | LAR
Rams' Kyren Williams: Tops 100 rushing yards
Williams rushed the ball 25 times for 114 yards in Sunday's 37-31 loss to the Ravens. He added three receptions on four targets for negative-one yard..
Williams continued to dominate opportunity out of the Los Angeles backfield, accounting for 25 of the 28 rushing attempts by the team's running backs. His longest gain of the day went for 14 yards, but he was able to grind his way to his fourth 100-yard rushing performance of the season and second in three games since he returned from a knee injury. Williams appears to be locked into one of the best roles in the league, and he'll face a weak Commanders run defense in Week 15.
