Nick Muse TE | LAR
Nick Muse: Returns to practice squad
The Vikings reverted Muse to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Minnesota elevated Muse for the second time this season prior to Sunday's Week 9 win over the Commanders. Though the 23-year-old didn't log any snaps on offense, he did see four special-teams snaps. Even if he's elevated again, Muse is unlikely to see much (if any) work on offense with T.J. Hockenson and Johnny Mundt ahead of him on the depth chart.

Jared Pinkney TE | CHI
Jared Pinkney: Placed back on practice squad
Pinkney reverted to the Rams' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Pinkney got his first elevation of the campaign prior to Los Angeles' Week 9 loss to Tampa Bay and logged 13 snaps on special teams. He has played in three NFL games over two seasons but has yet to see a target or record a touch on offense.

Stephen Sullivan TE | CAR
Panthers' Stephen Sullivan: Full-go at Monday's jog-through
Sullivan (illness) was listed as a full participant Monday on Carolina's estimated injury report, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Carolina didn't practice in full Monday, but it's still a positive sign that Sullivan was estimated to be a full participant after he missed Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Bengals due to an illness. However, his availability for Thursday's clash against Atlanta isn't likely to ring any bells in fantasy, as Sullivan has logged only two catches on three targets over six contests this season.

Chris Manhertz TE | NYG
Jaguars' Chris Manhertz: One catch Week 9
Manhertz caught one of two targets for seven yards during Sunday's 27-20 win over the Raiders.
Manhertz tied a season high with 36 offensive snaps but still played only a minor role in Jacksonville's aerial attack. No. 1 tight end Evan Engram briefly left the contest with a back issue, but he returned to the field and is expected to be good to go for Week 10. Even if Engram were to miss time, Manhertz would likely still primarily function as a blocker.

Kylen Granson TE | TEN
Colts' Kylen Granson: No receptions in loss
Granson did not have a reception on just one target in Sunday's loss at New England.
Mo Alie-Cox got the start at tight end and played more snaps than Granson (34-26) but they were closer in routes (19 for Alie-Cox and 17 for Granson). Jelani Woods played 18 snaps before exiting with a shoulder injury. Granson looked to be leading the trio in the passing game, but he took a step back last week, and Indy's passing woes make any of the tight ends a long shot for viable fantasy value each week.

Mo Alie-Cox TE | IND
Colts' Mo Alie-Cox: Two receptions in loss
Alie-Cox had two receptions for 13 yards on two targets in Sunday's loss at New England.
Alie-Cox had his first reception since Week 5 as he had just one catch and two targets in his previous five games. He could see an increase in targets if Jelani Woods misses time with a shoulder injury, but Indy's struggles in the passing game make any of the team's tight ends a long-shot fantasy option.
-
Armani Rogers TE | BUF
Commanders' Armani Rogers: Gets first NFL carry
Rogers had a 24-yard carry but no targets in Sunday's 20-17 loss to Minnesota.
Rogers finished third among Washington's tight ends with 13 snaps (20 percent) but arguably had the biggest contribution with his long gain on an end-around to convert a 3rd-and-short. While unlikely to make much of a dent as a pass catcher this season, the college QB could be part of trick plays on occasion and seems to be a better blocker than one might expect of an undersized, converted tight end. Next up for Rogers are road games against the Eagles (Week 10) and Texans (Week 11).
-
Johnny Mundt TE | PHI
Vikings' Johnny Mundt: Minimal role with new TE
Mundt had one reception for one yard in Sunday's win at Washington.
Mundt played 15 snaps on offense and went out on four routes. T.J. Hockenson had nine receptions and played on 60 snaps, so Mundt didn't see any short-term bump in playing time while Hockenson got acclimated to his new team. Mundt will have a limited, primarily blocking, role with Hockenson in the fold.
-
John Bates TE | WAS
Commanders' John Bates: Catches one pass
Bates caught one of two targets for five yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Vikings.
Logan Thomas hasn't caught a pass in two games since returning from a calf injury, but he did play well over half the snaps in both contests, while Bates has clocked in somewhere in the 30s the past three weeks (39 percent share in Sunday's loss). Any hope for fantasy value depends on Thomas missing time, and even then the Commanders seem to prefer Cole Turner over Bates in passing situations. More than a target or two is unlikely Week 10 at the Eagles.
-
Logan Thomas TE | SF
Commanders' Logan Thomas: No catches despite large snap count
Thomas finished with no catches on two targets in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Vikings, playing 72 percent of Washington's snaps on offense.
It was his second game back from a three-week absence due to a calf injury, and Thomas made it two in a row without a reception despite playing more than half the available snaps in both contests. He averaged 3.3 catches for 26.5 yards on 5.0 targets over the first four weeks of the season, so there is some hope the 31-year-old tight end starts to see more looks Week 10 at Philadelphia or Week 11 at Houston.
