  • Brock Wright TE | DET

Lions' Brock Wright: Will not return

Wight is being evaluated for a concussion and will not return Sunday against the Dolphins.

Wright recorded one catch for six yards before having to exit the game. It's bad news for the 23-year-old, who is coming off a career-best effort last Sunday against the Cowboys. Rookie tight end James Mitchell will now potentially see extra opportunity behind T.J. Hockenson for the remainder of the game.

  • Greg Dulcich TE | MIA

Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Leads Denver in receiving

Dulcich recorded four receptions on five targets for 87 yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Jaguars.

Dulcich continued his impressive rookie season and led the Broncos in receiving yards thanks to lengthy gains of 38, 22 and 18 yards. He's also carved out a consistent role quickly in the Denver offense, commanding 17 targets combined across the first three games of his career. That production has come with both Russell Wilson and Brett Rypien under center, so Dulcich appears likely to continue to produce moving forward.

  • Logan Thomas TE | SF

Commanders' Logan Thomas: Active in Week 8

Thomas (calf) is active for Sunday's Week 8 game against the Colts, Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post reports.

The veteran tight end was trending in the right direction heading into the weekend, and his active status is now confirmed. Thomas could draw even more targets than usual against Indianapolis considering the Commanders' air attack will be down both Dyami Brown (groin) and Jahan Dotson (hamstring).

  • Foster Moreau TE | HOU

Raiders' Foster Moreau: In line to fill in for Waller

With Darren Waller (hamstring) inactive, Moreau is in line to see added tight end snaps Sunday against the Saints.

With Waller out in Week 7, Moreau caught three of five targets for 28 yards in last weekend's 38-20 win over the Texans. The 2019 fourth-rounder thus represents a Week 8 fantasy lineup option for those who roster Waller or are otherwise scrambling for short-term TE help.

  • Tanner Conner TE | NYG

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Playing against Lions

Conner (knee) is active Week 8 against the Lions.

Conner has seen game action in each of the last six weeks, though it's primarily been in a special teams capacity with just three offensive targets over that span. He was limited in practice all week due to a knee injury, but it appears as if the rookie will be available for his regular role.

  • Durham Smythe TE | BAL

Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Active in Detroit

Smythe (hamstring) is active Week 8 against the Lions.

Smythe has been the primary backup tight end to Mike Gesicki this season, but he hasn't been particularly involved in the offense of late. Despite failing to log a full practice this week due to injury, he'll find himself as one of four active Miami tight ends on Sunday's game day roster.

  • Falcons' Anthony Firkser: Isn't suiting up Sunday

Firkser (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Firkser will now miss a third consecutive contest due to a coach's decision after playing in each of the team's first five games. While the Falcons currently have four healthy tight ends in front of the 27-year-old on the team's depth chart, it's uncertain when Firkser will return to game action.

  • Saints' Juwan Johnson: Suiting up in Week 8

Johnson (hamstring) Is active for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Johnson was tacked on to the Saints' injury report Thursday due to a hamstring issue, which limited him in practice Thursday and Friday, but he'll nonetheless be available to the offense. As for fellow tight end Adam Trautman, he'll miss a second consecutive contest due to a left ankle injury. Over the last two outings, Johnson has been looked at often by quarterback Andy Dalton, hauling in nine of 11 targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Good to go Sunday

Schultz (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Bears, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Schultz's reps were capped in practices Wednesday through Friday while he continued to manage the PCL sprain that kept him out of action Weeks 3 and 6, but the Cowboys didn't provide any indication he experienced a setback during his return to the lineup in the Week 7 win over the Lions. Even so, Schultz still took a questionable tag into the weekend, but his availability never seemed to be in much peril. Schultz should once again start and play the majority of the snaps at tight end Sunday while serving as a key target underneath for Dak Prescott.

  • Adam Trautman TE | DEN

Saints' Adam Trautman: Not playing Sunday

Trautman (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Raiders.

Trautman thus is missing a second straight game as he tends to a left ankle injury. Meanwhile, Juwan Johnson (hamstring) is available, setting the stage for him to be the Saints' primary receiving tight end Sunday. Trautman's next chance to play will arrive Monday, Nov. 7 versus the Ravens.
